To support our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Trust Fundraising Officer to join our small yet dynamic Fundraising team to help grow our income through Charitable Trusts and grant making organisations. This is an exciting time to join the organisation as we celebrate our 20th Anniversary year and look to a future of growth and building on our past achievements.
About the role
- You'll research trusts and foundations funding opportunities to which IHP can apply.
- You'll prepare and submit compelling funding applications to trusts and foundations in order to grow our core income.
- You'll work across teams and build effective relationships with team members in order to identify suitable projects for funding in line with strategy and budgets.
- You'll support the preparation of funding applications by members of the team to other donors, including corporate donors, major donors and other charity partners (NGOs)
Essential qualifications, knowledge,/transferrable skills and experience:
- Relevant fundraising experience (trusts and foundations)
- Experience of managing relationships with external stakeholder
- Experience of administration and record-keeping
- Experience of developing and managing budgets in line with funding applications.
- Knowledge of humanitarian response, international development and/or global health (Desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills

The British Asian Trust is one of the most exciting and innovative charities working in South Asia. An estimated 172 million children in India are considered ‘at-risk’ from various forms of harm and exploitation. The Child Opportunity Fund’s goal is to create more safe spaces to ensure that millions of children can live their lives to the fullest potential. We are looking for an exceptional philanthropic fundraising leader, with experience of leading an appeal and first-hand programme management skills, to undertake a one year maternity cover as the Interim Head of Child Opportunity Appeal. The postholder will be responsible for overseeing the appeal, working collaboratively with the team to reach their significant fundraising targets across HNWIs, trusts, institutional funders and corporate partners.

About the role
As Interim Head of Child Opportunity Appeal, you will:
- accelerate and coordinate fundraising for the Child Opportunity Appeal across a diversified range of high value income streams in the UK, India, Dubai and globally;
- drive and implement the fundraising strategy, ensuring KPIs are monitored and met;
- coordinate internal working groups as well as external senior volunteers to ensure a consistent and aligned approach to fundraising and new donor engagement;
- produce effective prospect research and robust donor pipelines to secure major donations at the 6 and 7-figure level from HNWIs, corporates, trusts, foundations and institutional funders;
- ensure all donors and partners receive first-class stewardship and relationship management, working closely with in-country, programmes and communications colleagues to produce compelling proposals, reports and updates;
- support the CEO to manage the partnership with the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation;
- develop and deliver strong engagement opportunities and leverage cultivation event and project visit opportunities;
- contribute to financial planning and reporting, and develop processes and systems for effective fundraising and stewardship.
About you
Ideal skills and experience:
- Demonstrable experience of operating in a senior philanthropic leadership role with a strategic mindset and high levels of ambition
- Exceptional project/programme management skills
- Experience of running a significant philanthropic appeal/campaign, or playing a senior role in the delivery of a large project in a complex organisation
- Experience of implementing a fundraising strategy and successfully meeting KPIs and targets
- Strong track record in securing high value gifts from warm and cold donors and partners, including demonstrable ability to independently manage the fundraising process from research/identification to closing the ask

The Trusts and Foundations Officer will support the Trusts and Foundations team to meet income targets and develop and maintain relationships with donors and prospects. About Us
The Upper Room (TUR) works with a wide range of financially and socially disadvantaged groups including homeless people, people with long-term mental health conditions, asylum-seekers, refugees and ex-offenders – helping them to improve their lives and become productive members of society. Central to our offering is our UR4Meals service, providing free, home-cooked food to people who cannot afford to provide for themselves. We are also very proud of our UR4Driving programme, which supports people recently out of prison with free driving lessons in exchange for community volunteering. Gaining a driving licence greatly enhances their future employability prospects and helps break the cycle of re-offending. Additionally, our UR4Jobs project focusses on both client wellbeing and breaking down the many barriers to employment faced by disadvantaged people every day.
The role
This newly scoped role reports into the CEO and is critical to our ability to create the income we need to keep up with the ever-increasing demand on our services. Primarily, the role has two fundamental elements to it: firstly, working with both a specialist external consultant and the CEO in planning, submitting and reporting on the grants that make up a large proportion of our income; and secondly, the planning and managing of TUR’s traditional (and always fun) annual events. These include celebrity interviews and talks, garden parties and various community events such as the Green Days festival in Chiswick. There are additionally a number of community relationships that add great value to our work and efforts to raise funds which require regular contact. Occasionally, the role will also require presenting or talking to both funders and community groups as we share our magnificent story with them – and ultimately, convince them to support us.
About You
You live within – or know well – West/Central London; you probably need a job with some working flexibility and want to have genuine belief in the cause you’re promoting. You have a CV that demonstrates experience in a comparable role: this could be in another charity, CIC or other Non-Profit organisation. You are comfortable and confident with working autonomously, so you will need to be disciplined; you can articulate and ‘bring to life’ our story through your advanced written and oral communication skills, enabling us to always deliver highly compelling reasons to secure gain financial (and other) support. As Network Stock & Logistics Manager, you will take a network-wide view of all stock and logistics. Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, supplier relationships, continuous improvement initiatives, and strategic planning. This will include both the inbound and outbound movement of stock, as well as London-wide logistics infrastructure and contracts. You will work closely with the warehouse team on stock levels, policies and procedures, as well as with hub teams to have a complete picture of network stock levels and needs, in order to make efficiencies, improve stock flow and engage with the community.
The successful candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas: logistics, retail, procurement, community engagement, and will be a confident and articulate person, who enjoys engaging with stakeholders from all backgrounds, whether it is a school or religious group, large corporate partner or individual donor. Responsibilities include:
Leadership, Strategy and Governance
- To be an active member of the Made in Hackney Senior Leadership Team, working together to galvanise the organisation behind our strategic plan.
- To contribute to strategic discussions on the future direction of the organisation.

Donor stewardship & reporting

The role:
- Be responsible for the provision of timely, accurate, relevant management information to all levels of management within assigned Directorate(s), regularly reviewing this information with the senior management team. This will include provision of monthly reports, critical review of results, value-add analysis, explanation of variances and early identification of potential issues / opportunities.
- Proactively provide improvements to procedures, applying sound judgement based on knowledge and experience.
- Be responsible for providing analysis that informs and supports effective decision making
- Apply various tools such as investment appraisal techniques to better inform decision making.
- Support the business in gathering evidence to assess the costs, benefits and risks of a wide range of delivery options when making commercial decisions, and provide advice which helps secure value-for-money (vfm).
- Support the business in the development of detailed business cases.
- Build strong and positive relationships with budget holders and senior managers (notably heads of Departments), providing the necessary assistance and professional advice to assist them with the financial aspects of their duties.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a fully qualified Accountant.
- Have strong analytical skills, able to identify and interpret trends and improve financial forecasting
- Have the ability to understand the strategic business goals of an organisation, able to ‘look beyond the numbers’ and understand the wider business context.
- Be a team player, with exceptional interpersonal skills, able to work with a diverse and broad range of stakeholders across the organisation. Demonstrable ability to influence.
- Have good written and oral communication skills, able to communicate clearly, concisely, accurately and in ways that promote understanding but stands ground when needed
- Have strong finance system skills including advanced Excel skills

- An understanding of accounting policy and an appreciation of the implications for an organisation of Government legislation and accounting standards
This position will be based officially at the head office in Kew and will require the postholder to work from the office three days a week.

The role
As the motion design producer at Breast Cancer Now, you’ll play a key role in helping bring our work to life.
You’ll be creating high quality, engaging content about our life-changing research, campaigning, fundraising, services and health information. And you’ll be part of the multimedia team, where we produce video, photography, motion design and audio that help strengthen our brand and tell our story.
Reporting to the senior multimedia manager, you’ll be producing motion design projects that cover all aspects of the organisation. This includes producing multiple small and large-scale motion projects throughout the year to support major campaigns and projects. Experience of producing long and short-form content with an eye towards social trends is also desirable.
The role may require some work on larger video and photography projects throughout the year to support the wider team, so any skills in video production, video editing or photography would be an advantage.
About you
You’ll have a keen interest in all things motion design and have a good portfolio of work to show this. You’ll be hard-working and highly motivated, with a flexible approach to your work. And you’ll be used to working in a busy team environment and able to work on your own initiative.
Strong communication skills are essential as you’ll be working with teams across the charity, supporters and people affected by breast cancer.
You must have considerable experience using adobe creative suite, particularly after effects, illustrator, photoshop and premiere. Any knowledge of blender or other 3D software would also be welcome.

Transforming Lives for Good (TLG) are a national Christian charity working in partnership with local churches to give struggling children a hope and a future. We are looking for a well-organised, relational leader who is passionate about the way TLG enables local churches across the UK to get alongside struggling families in their communities. The Church Relationships Lead will work as part of the national Volunteer Programmes (VP) Team, reporting to the Early Intervention Network Support Manager and collaborating with staff responsible for programme training and development.
This is an exciting time to join our growing VP team to support an increasing number of churches who have chosen to partner with TLG through running the Early Intervention (EI) programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting EI Coordinators to effectively run their centres, as well as training new EI coach teams.
