Main Purpose of Job
We are seeking a part-time Communications and Impact Officer to help us promote volunteering opportunities and communicate the impact of our work across Kensington & Chelsea.
This role will lead on impact communications, storytelling, and digital content, ensuring that funders, partners, and the public clearly understand the difference volunteering makes in our community.
You will create engaging content across multiple channels, including social media, VCKC’s website, impact reports, case studies, and funding communications. You will also support colleagues in communicating the impact of their programmes and promoting them effectively by turning data and evidence into compelling narratives, case studies, and marketing materials.

About the Role
Working closely with the Development Manager and the Development Director, you will play a key role in strengthening relationships with the Trust’s communities, supporting fundraising initiatives and delivering engaging communications and events that foster lifelong connections with the Trust and its schools.

Sophie Hayes Foundation is a small but mighty charity supporting women survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking as they rebuild their independent lives, free from re exploitation for the long-term.

About the Role
We can’t do any of this work without brilliant and concerted fundraising efforts. SHF is independent and relies on funds from grant-making bodies, individuals, and businesses in our supporter community.
This role will be at the forefront of the realisation of SHF’s bold strategic ambitions. You will work alongside our small and dynamic executive team to unlock growth, develop new approaches and communicate our impact.

FUNDRAISING

We are a National Portfolio Organisation, funded by Arts Council England, and enjoy the support of many individuals, trust and foundations and corporate supporters. We are now looking for an ambitious, creative, and energetic fundraiser to help take us into our next chapter. You might be an experienced Development leader or someone looking to take that next step, or perhaps this could be a lateral move from another related sector. We are open to discussing flexible working patterns, and you will be able to shape the role around your particular skills and experience.
You will have the full support of the CEO, senior team and Board of Trustees, and we will work with you to ensure you continue to develop in your professional practice. What the job involves
As part of our Customer Engagement and Experience team, you’ll play a key role in delivering an exceptional supporter experience, from ordering shop items and receiving fulfilment materials to ensuring Gift Aid contributions are processed accurately and securely.
This job share role combines operational ownership, relationship management and compliance oversight. You’ll be trusted to run essential day-to-day activity and improve the systems that sit behind them.
You’ll build and manage strong relationships with fulfilment suppliers, holding them accountable to KPIs and ensuring materials are delivered accurately and on time. You’ll also manage the day-to-day running of our online shop, including product development, stock forecasting, supplier coordination and performance monitoring.
You’ll keep fulfilment operations running efficiently by identifying improvements, resolving bottlenecks and making sure teams across the charity have what they need. Alongside this, you’ll take ownership of Gift Aid administration, ensuring claims are accurate, compliant with HMRC requirements and supported by clear audit trails.
By monitoring Gift Aid performance, you’ll analyse trends and recommend improvements, keeping internal teams informed and skilled in best practice. You’ll also support Fundraising teams with compliance checks, offering guidance and helping to resolve any issues quickly and effectively.
In addition, you’ll oversee monthly stock reconciliations and financial reporting for shop activity, ensuring accuracy and supporting informed decision-making. One of our most significant initiatives is IPS Grow, which supports the national expansion of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) employment services across England. IPS is an evidence-based approach that helps people experiencing severe mental illness, addiction and other health challenges find and sustain competitive employment with tailored support.
IPS Grow works with commissioners, healthcare providers and delivery partners to expand high-quality IPS services, improve quality and learning across the system, and ensure the data and evidence behind IPS continue to demonstrate its impact. Scaling IPS has been a priority for Social Finance since 2015 and continues to be an integral part of our work today.
With IPS Grow transitioning from a fast‑growing initiative to a mature organisation with expanding reach and influence, we are now looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer to join the IPS Grow and Social Finance Senior Leadership Team.
The COO will provide strategic leadership across IPS Grow’s operational infrastructure, ensuring the organisation has the systems, processes and capabilities required to deliver impact at scale. You will strengthen financial oversight, resource planning and risk management while helping develop IPS Grow’s data and digital capability. The role will also help shape the organisational structures and culture needed to support sustainable growth.
We are looking for a senior operational leader with experience in finance and the non-profit or publicly funded sectors, ideally with a track record of helping organisations scale. You will bring strong financial literacy, sound strategic judgement and the ability to build effective operational frameworks in complex environments.
You will be a collaborative partner across IPS Grow and the wider Social Finance organisation, building trusted relationships, bringing clarity to operational challenges and fostering a strong “one team” culture across a distributed team.

Our Aims
The Urban Partnership Group (UPG) is a community and regeneration organization situated in West London offering a wide range of activities at its bases at the Masbro Centre, Edward Woods Community Centre, Masbro Brook Green, and Flora Gardens Family Centre projects managed include those for older people, youth, children center services, volunteering and community champions. Through these projects UPG hopes to enhance the health, wealth and well-being of the centers’ users.
Role
To be responsible for the day-to-day provision of an efficient, welcoming and professional reception and administrative/business support service to the Masbro Community Centre.
The applicant will be the first person a visitor, client or customer meets or speaks to face to face or on the phone. The applicant will need to have a good rapport with people and make them feel welcome and at ease. UPG deliver a range different activities a week with a footfall of over 500 people a week.

Duties and Responsibilities

As the receptionist and administrator, ensuring all users and visitors are dealt with promptly, professionally and courteously.
- Provide a warm, supportive and nurturing front-of-house presence, building positive relationships with service users, tenants, volunteers and partners.
- Develop and maintain effective clerical and administrative systems in line with UPG policies and procedures, reviewing and improving systems where necessary.
- Carry out general administrative duties including (but not limited to):
- Managing incoming and outgoing post
- Responding to written and verbal enquiries
- Coordinating bookings for workshops and classes
- Processing invoices and supporting basic financial record-keeping
- Assisting with room and hall hire bookings and issuing hire agreements
- Attending and minuting meetings as required
- Undertaking follow-up actions where necessary
- Assist with the reporting and monitoring of repair and maintenance issues and liaise with contractors where appropriate, escalating concerns to the Centre Manager / CEO.
- Support the scheduling of events, activities and services, including providing accurate information and assisting with room set-up and clear-down when required.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of Centre usage, including visitor logs, attendance registers and staff whereabouts for emergency purposes.
- Work collaboratively with reception and administrative colleagues across all UPG sites to ensure consistent systems, shared best practice and coordinated cover arrangements where required.
- Develop and maintain links with borough-wide support services to ensure effective signposting for residents and organisations.
- Undertake student enrolment, inductions, DBS checks and other relevant compliance procedures for volunteers, staff and external groups, ensuring records are securely maintained.
- Support the promotion and publicity of the Centre, including updating noticeboards, digital displays, website content and social media platforms in collaboration with the Family Services and Performance Manager and colleagues at other sites.
- Assist in gathering data and basic monitoring information required for reports to funders and stakeholders.
- Support room inspections and ensure spaces are prepared to a high standard before and after use.
- Promote a culture of inclusion, respect and community cohesion, demonstrating empathy and sensitivity when supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Work at all times in accordance with UPG policies, particularly regarding equal opportunities, safeguarding, health and safety, risk assessments and confidentiality.
- Assist with fire drills, emergency procedures, risk assessments and compliance monitoring.
- Demonstrate commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of work.
- Provide occasional administrative support to senior management, including diary coordination and document preparation where required.
- Undertake any other duties as directed by the CEO or Line Manager that contribute to achieving UPG’s aims and objectives.
