A rare opportunity to lead communications and brand for one of the UK’s leading education trusts.
As Head of Communications and Brand at the Harris Federation, you will shape and protect our public profile, leading strategic communications, marketing and media activity across a network of 55 academies.
Reporting to the CEO, you will act as a trusted adviser to senior leaders, driving brand consistency, overseeing high impact campaigns, and leading digital, PR and internal communications to support pupil recruitment, staff attraction and organisational growth. You will also build and lead a high performing MarComms function and manage external agency partnerships.

About the role
Reporting in to the Campaigns Advisor, the Campaigns Officer will lead on the delivery of Christian Aid campaigns aimed at both movement building (through the development of supporters’ agency and ability to lead campaigns), and mobilisation (encouraging key audiences in the church and the wider to public to achieve strategic policy, legislative and culture change).
The post-holder will be develop and deliver high impact plans, tactics and activities that align with the strategies developed for campaigns, in relation to supporting churches and community groups (with a focus on Black Christians, Pentecostal and Charismatic Churches, and young adult Christians) and mobilising supporters to engage advocacy targets in political, private sector or in church environments.

We are looking for an experienced professional with a blend of communications and media experience who can push forward a union-led strategic communications agenda, and who can also enhance the ITF’s position in the media as the global voice of transport workers. This hands-on role will span communications and media work across the ITF.
You will be part of a team delivering solidarity and support to local, national and global disputes, building communications that reinforce the critical role of transport workers around the world, developing strategies to support union-led policies on everything from health and safety to sustainability, and raising the volume on the global struggle to advance the rights of transport workers everywhere.
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, this role will work collaboratively to implement communications strategies for the ITF’s industrial work programmes and their priority campaigns. The role will include targeting diverse audiences including transport workers, employers, media, policy makers and political leaders. The Communications and Press Officer will lead on the implementation of the ITF’s global media strategy: the role is pivotal to securing media coverage that raises awareness of the work and priorities of the ITF internationally, across broadcast, print, online media and trade press, while also monitoring the media coverage we gain, evaluating impact and providing insights to help shape future media work.

Skills and experience
We are looking for an experienced and proactive communications officer to cover maternity leave for a minimum of six months.

What we can offer you
This is a chance to deliver the communications of a high‑profile, independent regulator at the heart of the UK media landscape working on complex, high‑profile issues relating to journalism, regulation and press freedom.
This contract is for at least six months covering maternity leave. There is a competitive starting salary of £32,960, 25 days of paid annual leave (pro rata), and excellent additional benefits.
The role is full-time, and IPSO offers hybrid working to all staff. Role Purpose
The Communications Officer, Europe serves as a senior strategic leader of external communications engagement for Open Society’s priorities across Europe, with a mandate that extends globally as needed.

We're looking for a dynamic, highly organised Individual Giving & Engagement Officer to support the delivery of our broad recruitment and stewardship programme for 1 year fixed-term contract. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering impactful, multi-channel fundraising campaigns that inspire supporters and drive income. Working closely with the Individual Giving & Engagement team, you’ll help deliver donor acquisition, retention, and stewardship activity, ensuring our supporters feel valued and engaged at every stage of their journey.
You’ll work across a wide-ranging programme including appeals, in-memory giving, supporter communications, legacy activity and digital engagement. From coordinating campaigns and updating supporter journeys, to analysing performance and supporting financial processes, this is a varied and fast-paced role where no two days are the same.
We’re looking for someone who can balance creativity with strong organisation, enjoys working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, and is motivated by making a real difference. Your role
You will be responsible for the management, development and delivery of marketing and communications to support CWNN’s fundraising strategy. You’ll work alongside our Development Manager to create compelling fundraising campaigns, content and communications, growing engagement from individuals, companies, community fundraisers and potential funders while simultaneously raising our profile among stakeholders through strategic communications and marketing plans. This work includes:
Work alongside our Development Manager to create and deliver impactful and innovative fundraising strategies including our public appeals, challenge events and local fundraising campaigns.
Developing and implementing communications strategies to promote CWNN’s work, managing our social media platforms and external comms to ensure they reflect our strategic goals and values.
Create engaging digital content for our website and social media including written copy, video and graphics, to drive engagement, increase awareness and generate income.
Capturing and analysing key campaign engagement KPIs to inform future strategies and approaches to best engage existing and new audiences.
Produce quarterly comms impact overview for senior management and trustee reports.
Create marketing materials for external use, eg. corporate pitch documents, fundraising packs, gig programmes, flyers and posters using Canva.
Co-creating case studies, supporting members to share their stories, their way, amplifying their voices and demonstrating the impact of our choirs to stakeholders.
Co-lead our co-produced ‘Digital Storytellers’ programme with our Community Participation Manager, supporting members to manage their own local social media accounts, sharing their stories and raising awareness of their choirs to new audiences.
Maintain, organise and populate CWNN’s media library and YouTube channel.
Write and distribute press releases to both regional and national press and media, fielding media enquiries and building our media contacts.
Oversight of the day to day content management and maintenance of the website
Co-ordinate our internal communications programme and internal newsletter, working with senior leadership team.
Carry out any other tasks that arise that are within the scope and purpose of the post as requested by your line manager

THE ROLE
We are looking for a motivated Administrative Officer to provide the quality support and attention to detail that keeps our programmes running smoothly. You will be joining a passionate team dedicated to helping children all over the world develop their critical thinking and learn about global current affairs. RESPONSIBILITIES
Team operations and administration
Provide essential admin support including booking travel, purchasing equipment, managing the post, and supporting printing
Act as the administrator for most team subscriptions, online tools and softwares
Maintain a well-organised office environment, including inventory management for the team cupboard and equipment
Proactively identify and fix broken systems, creating better ways to manage tasks
Build strong relationships with the key teams from The Economist Group such as Facilities, HR, and IT to ensure smooth operational support to the Foundation’s work
Financial administration
Accurately process and record weekly payment runs and invoices in the banking and finance systems
Assist with financial reconciliation and proactively chase outstanding payments or missing receipts
Process staff and volunteer expense claims, ensuring they align with the charity’s financial policies
Programme and event support
Act as the first point of contact for the Foundation’s inboxes, providing excellent service to teachers by troubleshooting account issues and managing enquiries
Support the programme and fundraising teams by collating qualitative and quantitative data on students and teachers for programme and funder reporting
Manage the process of sending physical materials and resources to schools and teachers when relevant, including packing, addressing, and coordinating couriers or post
Lead the logistics for webinars and live lessons on online event tools, including managing platform settings and hosting calls
Coordinate logistics for team socials and events with partners, funders, and trustees, including room/venue booking, catering, and on-site setup
HR and onboarding
Manage candidate logistics, including posting roles, redacting applications, handling diversity monitoring forms, and scheduling interviews
Provide high-quality service to applicants, acting as a warm and professional point of contact for all interview coordination
Lead the practical setup for new joiners, including IT access, office tours, equipment handovers, and managing DBS checks

This peer support project is delivered in partnership with South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust to support Carers of people with mental health conditions. This project will work to support Carers through one-to-one support, outreach, training and peer support groups.

Skills and experience
Efficient, effective and empathetic, the right candidate will have a strong analytical ability that they can convey both verbally and in writing. You will have excellent writing skills, and experience of drafting important documents to a high level. You will also have experience of dealing sensitively and professionally with people from a range of backgrounds. Complaints Officers are trusted with a high level of autonomy in their work – so demonstrable time management and organisational skills are required.
A personal interest in current affairs and the news industry is a must, but there is no need for a degree or qualification in this area.

What we can offer you

There is a competitive starting salary of £41k, plus another £2k after 24 months of service. The role is full-time, and IPSO offers hybrid working to all staff. All staff work two core days (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) in our Central London office. New staff may be asked to come in for more days while they familiarise themselves with the organisation.
