Across the UK, our 270 local groups play a vital part in supporting people affected by MS. They provide sense of belonging, unity and friendship. And they deliver services and support for their local MS community.

We are looking to recruit a Communications Volunteer for the Clackmannanshire and Stirling Group. As our Communications Volunteer you’ll make sure people know they have a local MS Society group to turn to.

In this role you’ll be able to develop your writing skills, and gain an experience of communicating across a range of digital channels. 

Time commitment

We estimate this role will need around 2 hours a week. Our roles are flexible and aim to fit around you. Time commitments for this role may vary depending on your activities. This is an ongoing role.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience within a large charity and develop your existing skills and learn new ones. We need you to get involved and help make positive changes to the lives of people affected by MS.

You’ll have an interest in the MS Society and the work that we do, as well as the enthusiasm to represent both us and our values locally. You will understand the needs of people affected by MS in your area and be sympathetic to the needs and motivations of volunteers. You’ll be confident using Microsoft Office, the internet and email. We are Buttons & Bubbles C.I.C. We aim to increase inclusion and representation for disabled families across society. We have several different services including bespoke characters, workshops, free resources, events, sensory trails and more. 

As we continue to grow, we are on a mission to make finding and accessing information around everything to do with disability easier. Hence, we're putting together a brand-new team of volunteers who are passionate about content and using the power of social media for good

SHEEO (Solidarity for Her Education and Empowerment Organisation) is transforming the lives of rural Tanzanian girls and young women by tackling the root causes of poverty, inequality, and exclusion. In many rural communities, girls face barriers such as early school dropout, unemployment, gender-based violence, and lack of access to reproductive health education and technology. SHEEO breaks these cycles through holistic empowerment—ensuring girls not only stay in school but also gain the knowledge, confidence, and skills to lead change within their communities.

Through its four core programs, SHEEO provides educational sponsorships and menstrual hygiene support, equips young women with vocational and entrepreneurial skills, and promotes gender equality through leadership training and advocacy against harmful practices like child marriage. Copywriter

SHEEO Tanzania is looking for a motivated Copywriter (Remote) who takes initiative and enjoys working in a dynamic, collaborative environment. In this role, you’ll help bring SHEEO’s mission to life by transforming stories from the field into powerful, engaging narratives that inspire action. You’ll write and edit social media captions, impact stories, press releases, and funding proposals, ensuring every piece reflects our voice and values. Its main goal is to raise awareness about environmental issues and encourage households across the Arab world to adopt waste-free, sustainable practices. Our mission is to promote simplicity in everyday life by providing individuals with the knowledge and motivation to live sustainably. We are committed to preserving our planet's natural beauty and encouraging people to lead healthier, more natural lives.

Funding & Grants Researcher

Zero Waste Palestine raises awareness about environmental issues and empowers households to adopt sustainable practices. Our mission is to promote simplicity in everyday life by equipping individuals with the knowledge and motivation to live sustainably. We also advocate for environmental justice and amplify local stories that inspire collective action and change.

We’re looking for a **detail-oriented Funding & Grants Research Volunteer** to help identify and secure funding opportunities that support Zero Waste Palestine’s non-profit work. The role involves researching grants, pitch competitions, and other funding channels—both locally and globally - that align with our mission. You’ll also support the preparation of applications and help mobilise resources for impactful environmental initiatives.
**Responsibilities:**

• Research and compile relevant grant and funding opportunities (Palestine + global).
• Track deadlines, eligibility criteria, and submission requirements in a shared database.
• Support the preparation of funding applications and proposals.
• Suggest creative and strategic funding ideas.
• Contribute to building relationships with donors, partners, and supporters.

 About HIAS+JCORE

HIAS+JCORE is the UK Jewish response to refuge and asylum. Our vision is a UK where refugees can live in dignity, in a society free from racism. This work is driven by the belief that the Jewish community should play an active part in empowering refugees to thrive.

Role purpose

The Fundraising Trustee will bring expertise, insight, and strategic guidance to help the charity strengthen and diversify its income. Working with the Board and staff/volunteers, they will ensure fundraising is ethical, sustainable, and aligned with the charity’s mission and values.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the overall governance of the charity as a member of the Board of Trustees.
• Provide advice and support on fundraising strategy, ensuring income generation is realistic and compliant with regulation.
• Act as a fundraising champion on HIAS+JCORE’s board, working with and supporting other trustees to explore fundraising possibilities.
• If networks for fundraising exist, use them to support the work of the charity.
• Support the development of diverse fundraising streams (e.g. individual giving, trusts and foundations, community fundraising, corporate support) and advise and support with appeals and major fundraising events/campaigns.
• Ensure compliance with fundraising regulation and best practice, including the Code of Fundraising Practice, and through HIAS+JCORE’s policies and procedures.
• Act as an ambassador for the charity, promoting its work and helping to raise its profile.

Person specification

Essential:

• Commitment to the charity’s mission and values.
• Understanding of the legal duties and responsibilities of charity trusteeship.
• Knowledge and experience of fundraising (e.g. trusts, corporates, major donors, community fundraising, or digital campaigns).
• Strategic thinker, able to balance long-term planning with practical advice.
• Strong communication and networking skills.

Desirable:

• Experience of fundraising in a small charity context.
• Existing networks that could support the charity’s fundraising efforts.

NICOLA Arts invites visual artists, photographers, and creatives of all disciplines to take part in our upcoming exhibition “NO LIMITS” — a celebration of artistic freedom, individuality, and cultural diversity.

This open-themed show is designed to provide a platform for emerging and established artists to share their voice, connect with audiences, and sell their work in the heart of Central London.
All mediums are welcome: painting, sculpture, photography, digital art, mixed media, installation, collage — there are no limits to your creativity.

Selected works will be exhibited for three months, giving artists long-term exposure and the opportunity to reach collectors, art lovers, and the local creative community.

Kent Community Foundation (KCF) is looking for individuals to join our Board of Trustees who have a real passion for our county and want to make a demonstrable difference to the lives of people in our communities.

KCF is a professional grant-maker and local philanthropy advisor for Kent and Medway. We have been established for 24 years; distributing more than £60 million in grants to voluntary sector organisations across the county; supporting small charities to be sustainable and successful, and helping major donors maximise the impact of their donations.

Trustees are the volunteers who lead charities and decide how they are run; setting strategic plans, monitoring the performance, impact and sustainability of the charity and overseeing its governance. People of any age and background can be a trustee, and we're looking for people with specific experience to help us support communities in Kent. We are particularly interested in applications from people who are typically under-represented on trustee boards.

We have a comprehensive trustee induction programme, so if you have never been a trustee or on a board before, we will ensure you have all the knowledge and support you need.

Trustee: Desirable skills

We are looking for applicants to have one or more of the following:

· Lived experience of the communities we work with and the issues which arise in our county

· Experience of grant making; either as a philanthropist, grant maker or grant applicant

· Long term connections and networks with any of our stakeholder groups in Kent; such as philanthropists, businesses  owners, key voluntary sector influencers

We hope to recruit up to three new trustees with different experience to offer, who can give some of their time and expertise to help KCF continue to grow and develop. We have four in-person Board meetings a year, and trustees also sit on at least one of our sub-committees, which meet two to four times a year (often remotely). There are also occasional events trustees are invited to attend to promote and engage with our work.

Rising Capacities for Children Africa (RICCA)

Rising Capacities for Children Africa (RICCA) tackles child poverty in rural Kenya, especially in Kirinyaga County, by creating inclusive, child-friendly learning environments. Through the Ricca Afterschool Center, children aged 6–17 access personalized support, mentorship, and engaging programs in arts, sports, agriculture, and digital literacy. These activities foster academic success, creativity, social skills, and life competencies while making learning fun and accessible. RICCA also works with schools to improve teacher quality, infrastructure, and resources, and engages parents in the process. By bridging rural–urban gaps and promoting intercultural dialogue, RICCA empowers communities, protects children’s rights, and breaks cycles of poverty through education.

Dignify delivers educational workshops in schools to promote healthy relationships, self-respect, and respect for others. We work to prevent the harmful effects of pornography and challenge the normalisation of unhealthy sexual behaviours among young people. Through evidence-based sessions, we equip students with knowledge, empathy, and tools to navigate relationships positively.

Role Purpose

We are seeking Volunteer Schools Workers to accompany our lead Schools Worker in delivering workshops to children and young people. You’ll help create a safe, positive environment for learning, support classroom activities, and be an encouraging presence for students as they explore important topics around respect, relationships, and digital culture.

Key Responsibilities

· Accompany the lead Schools Worker to sessions in primary and secondary schools.

· Assist with setting up and packing away resources and equipment.

· Helping facilitate and monitoring small group sessions

· Observe and note student engagement to help evaluate sessions.

Skills / Abilities / Experience / Qualities

· Strong communication skills, especially with young people.

· Willingness to work with young people from diverse backgrounds and gender identities.

· Comfortable discussing sensitive topics such as pornography, sexual harassment, and objectification.
