Our vision is for every church in the Portsmouth area to provide a home for
people who’ve been homeless. We dream of ending homelessness by partnering
with local churches to grow positive, prayerful support networks around people
who’ve been homeless, as well as providing a safe, stable place to live.
Right now, in and around Portsmouth, we have 11 houses, with 28 tenants being
befriended and loved by 8 churches – all set up since 2018. And we’re not
stopping there, with more churches and areas looking to join us.
When we provide people with a safe home, professional support and the security
of positive relationships, this helps them find the confidence, motivation and
hope for change. Then we are able to support them in moving on to their own
secure accommodation.
The Franchise Lead is key to keeping our growing organisation strong and
Christian, partnering with churches to show God’s love to tenants no matter
what they are facing. We want to grow without ever losing the quality of support

Key aspects of the role include:
• Overall: our vision is to see each individual and family thrive in our
homes, and to see more local churches wanting to “house the homeless.”
• Develop and equip the team to ensure tenants thrive in safe, supportive
environments. We currently have 6 staff.
• Work with local churches so that their friendship & support teams are
empowered, equipped, and prayerful; promote the charity so that new
ones want to get involved.
• Ensure current investors feel engaged and valued; and promote the
charity so that new ones come on board.
• Ensure that the charity has the highest safeguarding, property and quality
standards, liaising with national and regional Hope into Action teams.

• Proven experience in managing programs and teams with compassion and
professionalism.
• Exceptional organisational and communication skills to inspire tenants,
churches, and stakeholders.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Data Services, the CRM and Customer Data Lead will ensure that the charity get the most out of the CRM data so that it can deliver insight driven selections and segmentations for the whole organisation, supporting and collaborating with colleagues to reach and engage with customers in a compliant and customer-centred way.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Oversight and continuous improvement of CRM data.
- Selection analysis and visualisations that support product owners to have a deeper understanding of our customers.
- Lead on increasing the utilisation of selection and marketing automation products such as Apteco Faststats and Peoplestage to automate customer journeys.
- Oversight and continuous improvement of Third party and Internal Data imports and exports with a focus on increasing the knowledge and utilisation of the organisations ETL tools such as Blender to provide business continuity and consistent, clean data quality.
About You
You will have a proven record of:
- Managing, developing and using a CRM database to meet organisation needs.
- Change management projects to support an organisation in better use of data and insight.
- Designing, building and implementing customer segmentation and models.
- Customer and product journeys within a marketing automation environment.

The Role
We are looking for a Supporter Engagement Assistant to join our Supporter Engagement Team to help us build strong and lasting relationships with our charity's supporters and donors.
Reporting to the Supporter Engagement Officer, as Supporter Engagement Assistant you will deliver excellent customer service over the telephone, in written (email and postal) communications and face to face, ensuring that supporters' details are accurately recorded on the CRM database. Specifically, you will:

Ensure supporter communications are accurate, timely and appropriate to the recipient. This includes following the relevant pathways to process donations, record legacy pledges, update key information so that the communication is tailored and relevant to the individual supporter.

Work alongside the Supporter Engagement Officer and other colleagues to improve the initial welcome journey for newly acquired donors and the onward stewardship of all supporters.

Conduct research and contribute ideas to improve supporter journeys and implement these processes independently.

Update supporter records on the charity’s CRM database to reflect changes in marketing permissions, personal details, the charity's relationship with the supporter (e.g. Volunteer/ Donor etc) and any communications between the supporter and the charity.

Use the CRM database to run supplied data queries to deliver campaigns (e.g. using Mail Merge) and to create and deliver supporter communications, this includes printing and posting letters, sending emails, making updates to supporter records and fulfilling requests for information.

Undertake other duties and take on a lead role in delivering projects and campaigns relevant to the purpose of the role as requested by members of the CRM, Marketing, Fundraising or Research & Impact teams.

Overview
The Royal School of Needlework (RSN) is seeking a highly motivated and organised Fundraising Assistant to join our team and provide administrative support for our fundraising activities. The Fundraising Assistant will play a key role in generating vital income and helping the organisation achieve its fundraising goals by assisting with donor relations, event planning, grant research, data management, and campaign coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Donor Support and Stewardship:
- Become a ‘super’ user of the CRM/database.
- Maintain donor records in the CRM/database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Help with the acknowledgment process, including sending thank-you letters and recognition communications to donors.
- Assist in coordinating donor communications and outreach campaigns (e.g., newsletters, appeals, and stewardship materials).
Event Support:

London Play is seeking a part-time Partnership Fundraiser to lead on securing income to support its vital work, in particular through strengthening and developing its partnership with London Play Design. Job Description
We seek a skilled and proactive fundraiser to support LP in submitting funding applications to support its partnership with LPD and developing long-term fundraising capacity. The first key task will be to collaborate with both organisations to create a strategic fundraising plan aligned with our programmes, with a strong emphasis on championing play and supporting adventure playgrounds in continuing their essential community work.
Key responsibilities will include developing and implementing a fundraising strategy to secure income from a diverse range of sources; and researching, identifying, developing and submitting funding applications and proposals to relevant trusts, foundations and other grant-making bodies.
The ideal applicant will have at least five years’ experience in fundraising, donor development, or grant writing – ideally including partnership arrangements – as well as a demonstrable understanding of the value of play and the outcomes it contributes to for children and for communities. They will be highly organised, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills and a proven ability to achieve income targets and meet application deadlines.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Trusts and Foundations income stream at Global Canopy, bringing exemplary relationship management and stewardship strategies to continue establishing the programme for long-term impact. Key Responsibilities
As a confident and energetic member of Global Canopy’s Development team, you will:
- Oversee the delivery of our Trusts and Foundations programme, shaping plans to ensure outstanding donor engagement and stewardship, future income growth and the delivery of our mission for forests, people and nature
- Personally manage a portfolio of prospects and existing funders at the six- and seven-figure level, inspiring them to give for the first time and continue or increase their giving
- Support the Trusts/Foundations fundraising team to develop a continuous pipeline of unrestricted and restricted funding opportunities
- Working alone and in partnership with other team members, develop high-quality tailored communications, including cases for support, bespoke proposals, concept notes and donor reports that demonstrate Global Canopy’s impact
- Engage and build relationships with peer and partner organisations to identify and explore opportunities for partnership funding applications
- Represent the voice of fundraising on strategic internal Boards and Working Groups, ensuring excellent communication flow between them and the Development team
- Collaborate effectively across the organisation at all levels, operating as a supportive and reliable fundraising colleague
- Work with colleagues across programmes, communications, operations and finance to shape annual plans and budgets
- Leverage your understanding of market trends to adapt our approach to fundraising and donor engagement
- Effectively manage a high performing Trusts/Foundations team providing clear objectives, supervision and support to enable them to thrive in their roles

Skills and Experience
Successful candidates will:
- Have a proven track record of having identified, cultivated and secured six- and seven-figure funding partnerships with trusts/foundations
- Have proven experience of building relationships of trust, working collaboratively and in close partnership with internal stakeholders to deliver joint outcomes
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident in synthesising complex information for external-facing, donor-friendly communication and talking with funders, prospects and stakeholders
- Be adept in negotiating in complex environments with multiple stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
- Be skilled in adapting your style of management to meet individual needs and provide support to team members in achieving their professional and developmental goals
- Be familiar with the Fundraising Code of Practice and/or other relevant fundraising best practice frameworks
- Have excellent relationship management skills and high emotional intelligence
- Have strong financial literacy, including budgeting and financial reporting
- Be able to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities and demands
- Have experience in working in the forests, nature and/or climate sectors, preferably in a global context
- Familiarity with the human rights and social dimensions of commodity-driven deforestation and environmental degradation and/or the nexus between human rights and nature-related issues would also be beneficial
