An exciting opportunity has arisen in East Sussex for a highly motivated and committed Family Worker to build on a well-established commissioned service.   

About the Role:  

Kinship is the leading kinship care charity in England and Wales. We work with all kinship carers – the grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, and family friends who are caring for children when their parents can’t.  

We’re seeking an experienced Family Worker who is passionate about supporting kinship carers to get the right support at the right time. We are looking for someone who has the interpersonal and partnership skills to perform their role sensitively and creatively while also meeting reporting and impact requirements. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with East Sussex County Council and will share their ambition to support families to keep their children safe through support, advice and guidance.

You’ll be delivering our Kinship Connected programme offering support to special guardians and other kinship carers, providing emotional and practical support to carers in their homes and in the community over a six-month intervention cycle. You’ll also connect them with other kinship carers through peer support groups, as well as supporting to unlock community assets.   

This is a role where you’ll need to have strong boundaries and personal resilience – which we’ll also support through development and reflective practice. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Practical and emotional support to kinship carers virtually or in-person in their home or community.
• Signposting or referring to relevant national and local services.
• Liaising with other professionals and organisations.
• Attending professional meetings when the carer needs extra support (e.g. CIN. CP, family group conference, school meetings).
• Making referrals to other Kinship services such as Advice, Someone Like Me, Peer-to-Peer.

What you do  

Main purpose of post 

This role will lead our individual giving campaigns ensuring key audiences see the impact of the charity and are motivated to donate to support the continuation of our work.  It will build on existing successful campaigns, including our Christmas Star appeal, and create new and engaging additions.  You will ensure the donor journey is sensitive, engaging and straightforward and place a high importance on the ongoing stewardship of donors.

You will report to the Head of Fundraising and work alongside our Fundraising Team to ensure plans align and budget targets are achieved. You will work closely with the Campaign Manager and Data Manager to target individual giving effectively across South Yorkshire, Bassetlaw and North Derbyshire. 

This is the perfect role for anyone who loves to plan and see those plans through to completion, who has excellent customer care skills and who is digitally savvy. You will enjoy working as part of a busy fundraising team and collaborating to achieve collective success.

Key Responsibilities  

· Lead and implement the individual giving donor journey to increase the charity’s individual gifts including regular and pay roll giving.

· Lead the creation of fundraising individual giving campaigns to recruit new donors, retain existing supporters and grow reach, engagement and income.

· Lead the development of new individual giving campaigns, working closely with the Campaign Manager, to deliver direct marketing campaigns across various channels, which enhance current supporters understanding of the difference their donation makes and also encourages new supporters to donate to our cause and projects.

· To create new individual giving income opportunities, including introducing a charity lottery.

· Review and evaluate campaigns against income and impact success factors and implement improvements.

· Maximise all gift aid opportunities within the agreed audiences.

· Be responsible for an income target of a minimum of £300,000 per annum.

· Manage relationships with existing supporters to ensure a high level of donor care is achieved whilst achieving and maximising income opportunities.

· Analyse and segment the charity's supporter base, developing appropriate supporter journeys and propositions, and the effective use of supporter data for campaign purposes.

Utilise digital methods and platforms for new donor acquisition

· To assist in the delivery of a range of donor, supporter and staff engagement events throughout the year in line with our donor recognition & stewardship plan.

· Contribute to development of the fundraising annual plan to drive forward the charity’s ambitious plans for change and growth in line with the 3 year strategy.

· Ensure that all activities and contacts are managed through the charity’s CRM (Raiser’s Edge).

· Ensure all fundraising activity complies with laws and best practice governing charitable activity, most notably General Data Protection Regulations, Fundraising Regulator Code of Practice and charity law.

· Attend and contribute to team meetings and 'away days' and be an active, invested member of our team.

· Ability and willingness to travel throughout the region to attend charity fundraising events.

· Able to work flexibly, including occasionally working in the evenings and at weekends.

The Learning Networks Portfolio Manager will:

• Report to the Managing Director

The Role In Brief

This position plays a central role in the delivery of Koreo’s work; responsible for a portfolio of the company’s biggest and most established programmes. It will be a varied role and will require someone to lead project teams in the design and delivery of high quality national learning programmes, while also playing a key role in the development of Koreo as an organisation
better able to build a just and regenerative future.

1. Responsible for the successful delivery and development of a portfolio of national learning programmes and projects. This portfolio of work is primarily focused on cross-sector learning programmes that bring cohorts of people together around learning missions. Examples include Civic Futures and the London Engagement Collaborative
with the GLA.
2. Responsible for sustaining and growing the portfolio, and with it Koreo’s profile, network, and income. This might be focused on developing the existing programmes in the portfolio, or could include wider writing, public speaking, pitching and networking
which support the distribution of the work.
3. An internal leadership role in developing a just and inclusive culture in which a diverse team can do its best work. This includes line management of one Project Coordinator, development of organisational practice and process, and work with the team on culture and development.

Tommy’s believes that pregnancy complications and baby loss should not be seen as ‘bad luck’. Through their four research centres, specialist antenatal care clinics, pregnancy information services and campaigning work, they support people who refuse to accept that a baby’s death is ‘just one of those things’.

The Partnerships Manager will manage a portfolio of commercial and fundraising accounts totalling c.£250k, as well as some new business development. The portfolio includes a £60k per annum CRM relationship with Plum & Ashby, focused around the Wave of Light candle campaign for Baby Loss Awareness week, with lots of influencer and comms engagement. Purpose and Scope of the Role

To enable and empower newly arrived often vulnerable refugees to settle into their new communities with confidence. 

Postholders will work closely with the volunteers, bank staff and Project Coordinators to provide a wraparound service to our clients across the region. Key elements of the service will include support with welfare benefits/income maximisation, immigration, housing, health, education and employment.

There will be a requirement to record and document contact using online systems, ensuring an evidence-based practice model of working and seamless support delivery for our clients. 

Main duties and responsibilities 

Manage a caseload of clients/households:

· Provide initial reception and orientation at client’s homes and within their local community settings 

· Carry out a holistic needs assessment and prepare a Personal Integration Plan with every household on a quarterly basis, preferably in the clients homes.

· Negotiate specialist intervention with external agencies as appropriate according to the client’s needs. 

· To be the lead contact for all agencies and responsible for coordinating support for your key clients.

· To work with families in a variety of locations such as within their home, RMC premises, on outreach and via digital means.

· To jointly agree a plan leading to beneficiary independence and service exit as per project requirements

· Where possible deliver the service in a community language

· To deliver a comprehensive action plan for welcoming the refugees from preparation prior to arrival and support for the first year. This includes but is not limited to: 

· Housing situation and housing/tenancy related goals and checking suitability of accommodation with relevant hosts, landlords and/or any other housing partners.  

Welcoming families upon arrival

· Registering with GP’s, dentists and opticians; attending medical assessments and appointments; securing appropriate specialist medical care and liaising with different health services; 

· Working with Social Services to ensure all special needs are addressed; 

· Registering for Biometric Residence Cards and ensuring that immigration paperwork is correct and any errors or discrepancies are reported to the relevant Home Office department by an OISC qualified adviser from the wider team.

· Ensure the Home Office is notified if BRP cards are not issued within the timescales set out by Home Office service standards.

· Ensure that all newly arrived are given immigration advice as required by referring them to an OISC qualified advisor within RMC.

· Ensure that every newly arrived adult above the age of 18 has access to their own bank account.

· Ensuring that refugees understand their financial rights and responsibilities

· Complete a full Entitled To calculation with all newly arrived households and apply for relevant welfare benefit provisions from DWP and HMRC.

· Support refugees with mandatory reconsiderations as required.

· Support with access to individual grants if required.

· Providing on-going orientation to the UK – information, classes, workshops and visits by key statutory services; 

· Registering and supporting children with local schools; 

· Facilitating access to ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes for all newly arrived adults; 

· Signposting and assisting in training, education and employment to ensure long term independence

· Refer into other provision as provided by third party organisations

· Organising trips and outings to places of interest and providing opportunities for social interaction and accompany refugees if required as per ongoing Personal Integration Plan and risk assessment.

· To provide client centric support around all areas of need including housing, welfare, employment, substance misuse, family reunion and social engagement.

· To ensure that this work has a focus on fostering the independence of the clients and has respect for the culture, personal history and situation of all its users. 

· To promote the long-term integration of refugees and the development of refugee communities by providing a range of tailored services to them and through working with other service providers to maximise opportunities for refugees. 

· To work with clients to facilitate their access and engagement with mainstream statutory and voluntary sector services. 

· To ensure that this work is carried out in accordance with RMC’s values, principles, policies and procedures, specifically those around equal opportunity, confidentiality, impartiality and non-directive advice.

· With the support of the Coordinator and Manager, to maintain and develop excellent working relationships with and between external stakeholders to improve the availability of mainstream and specialist services for newly arrived refugees.

As an Assistant Community Shop Manager (ACSM) for St Giles Hospice you will support in leading a team of volunteers. You’ll be empowered to make decisions locally whilst working within a supportive framework. You’ll work within and for your local community ensuring that engagement and support is understood and promoted.

You’ll have good customer service skills and want to be part of a successful team. Ideally, you’ll have previous retail experience with the ability to manage and lead the store in the absence of the Community Shop Manager (CSM).

Reporting into the CSM and working closely with the Retail Regional Manager you will aid in supporting your store to run efficiently and deliver a positive financial contribution to the Hospice. You’ll also have the support of a Retail Regional Supervisor, available to provide store encouragement and development of best practice.

Job description

We're seeking a talented and motivated Campaigns and Marketing Manager to lead and execute innovative marketing campaigns and strategies aimed at increasing awareness, engagement, and support for Southampton Hospitals Charity. This role will involve developing and implementing compelling campaigns across various channels to drive donations, event participation, and community involvement.

Main Responsibilities:

Campaign Development and Management:

• Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that align with the Charity's objectives and resonate with our target audience.
• Conduct thorough research to understand audience demographics, preferences, and behaviors.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify key messages and stories.
• Develop creative concepts, visuals, and messaging.
• Oversee the production of marketing materials.
• Evaluate campaign performance and effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation

Digital Marketing and Content Creation:

• Develop and implement digital marketing strategies across various platforms, including social media, email marketing, website, and digital advertising, to maximise reach and engagement.
• Design and execute email marketing and donor campaigns.
• Optimise website content and user experience.
• Implement digital advertising campaigns across platforms.
• Generate compelling stories, testimonials, and case studies.
• Develop multimedia content and write persuasive copy for marketing materials, fundraising appeals, event promotions, and donor communications.

Brand Management, Data Analysis, and Reporting:

• Develop and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity across all channels and materials.
• Monitor brand mentions and sentiment online.
• Conduct periodic brand audits.
• Champion the Charity's brand values and mission.
• Set up tracking mechanisms and analytics tools to monitor campaign performance.
• Analyse data to assess campaign effectiveness and audience engagement.
• Prepare regular reports and dashboards summarising campaign results, trends, and insights for internal stakeholders.

The Family and Youth Engagement Worker is a new role within our organisation, which will provide additional support to an existing team working in London providing comprehensive support to young people and families living with HIV.

The role encompasses family-based support, organising and facilitating group meet-up events, offering guidance and support around engaging with services, and providing mentoring and coaching support to individual young people.

The role will be pivotal in furthering the charity's mission to enhance the health and well-being of children, young people, and young adults growing up with HIV.

Reporting to an Engagement Team Manager you will recruit volunteers by promoting Re-engage’s services.

develop effective relationships with new and existing referrers such as social prescribers and community link workers.

identify and cultivate new, innovative referral pathways to connect with a broader demographic of seniors experiencing social isolation and loneliness.

support the wider Re-engage team in the delivery of our grant funded projects.

This role has a national UK remit and as and where the need arises.

Engagement Officer tasks and requirements:

• Growing and developing our network of referral partners, including social prescribers and link workers, ensuring that Re-engage's work is promoted to people aged 75+ who are experiencing social isolation and loneliness.
• Utilise Re-engage's CRM (OPUS) to inform evidence-based, data-driven decision-making to develop effective engagement plans.
• Working closely with the service delivery team ensuring that the right people are recruited and engaged into the right roles, in the right place, and at the right times.
• Collaborating with the communications team to support the widest possible publicity for the charity’s needs through media and social media opportunities, local press, radio, TV, and online forums.
• Liaising closely with the fundraising team delivering against recruitment targets linked to grants and supporting them with persuasive proposals and grant applications, using acquired national knowledge and collecting case studies.
• Identifying speaking and presenting opportunities ensuring that Re-engage's work is promoted to referrers.
• Joint accountability, with colleagues, for growing the engagement of older people and the recruitment of volunteers into Re-engage's portfolio of services.
• Carrying out any other reasonable tasks assigned to you by your line manager.
• We put the safeguarding of our older people, volunteers, and colleagues at the heart of everything we do and as such, this role will be subject to an enhanced criminal record check.

Knowledge, skills, and attributes

Essential

• Excellent people skills with a proven ability to network and collaborate with professionals, partners, older people, volunteers, and colleagues.
• Digital first approach with strong ability and enthusiasm about using technology to its full advantage to engage and recruit older people and volunteers and make data informed decisions.
• Experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders from the statutory, commercial, and voluntary sectors to deliver results.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Organised and methodical approach to work with strong administrative skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work remotely at pace to deadlines with minimal supervision and meet KPIs.
• A clear understanding of safeguarding systems and processes and of confidentiality and the implications of GDPR when working with volunteers and older people.

Desirable

• Experience working in a target-driven environment in community engagement or sales
• Understanding of the volunteer journey, including recruitment and engagement.
• Full driving license and own car preferred as this post may require national travel and the occasional overnight stay.

About the role

Are you an experienced corporate fundraiser with an interest in working in the international development sector? Are you creative, strategic, highly organised, a confident and effective communicator and strong team player? 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager to work closely with the Head of Programme Funding to drive new donor engagement and secure sustainable, multi-year funding. If you are seeking a dynamic and engaging fundraising role which offers you the chance to play a pivotal role within a small but ambitious organisation, then this could be the job for you.

You will be an exemplary relationship builder and have experience in developing multi-faceted corporate partnerships (ideally with experience and success in employee engagement, corporate sponsorship, and/or operational partnerships).

The role also line manages the Senior Fundraising Officer post, a position that provides administrative and fundraising support across the whole fundraising team.  Please note that we are a small team and so you’ll need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to help out team members and to support new business across other restricted income streams. 

If you think you have the skills, qualities and drive to fulfil this role, but don’t meet all of the specifications, or perhaps you’ve gained your experience in (for example) commercial sales or within relationships management and are looking to move into development work, we would still welcome hearing from you.
