Battersea is undergoing a significant transformation programme (known as Launchpad) to deliver real change in the way we work with, utilise, and learn from data. Our new approach will enable smoother animal, customer and supporter journeys and will help us embed a truly data and insight-driven approach to decision-making at Battersea. The first phase of the programme is to implement Salesforce Lightning as the organisations single CRM application.

With the programme underway, in the preparation for the first go live, this exciting role has been created within the new Data Applications team to ensure that all the system users are expertly supported.

This role, working within the Data Applications Team will initially contribute to the Launchpad programme by supporting training and UAT activity. Once the programme has been completed, this role will then be responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance needs for the new Salesforce Lightning CRM and other related applications as they are launched.

Job Purpose

The purpose of the Programme Coordinator is co-ordinate with all parties (Community Engagement Manager, the Programme Manager, LMK Leaders and the host organisations) to enable LMK to deliver high quality workshops for young people/youth work professionals/workplaces. 

Acting as the lynchpin of the organisation’s delivery team, the Programme Coordinator takes the workshop brief from the LMK Community Engagement Manager and then works with the Programme Manager to secure facilitators (LMK leaders), ensures the host organisation receives all supporting information, and provides LMK Leaders with the resources they need to deliver the workshop effectively. This role is also responsible for regular reporting about workshop bookings and delivery. 

Reporting to our CEO, the successful candidate will be part of LMK’s core staff team. You will work with LMK staff, LMK Leaders, members of our Youth Advisory Board, trustees and key stakeholders to develop and implement our long-term strategy. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Provide excellent customer service to organisations who are hosting LMK workshops, ensuring that all communication is timely and accurate, and any questions are responded to in full.

• Liaise with the Programme Manager and LMK Leaders to ensure there is clear understanding around their areas of expertise, availability and any specific considerations that need to be taken into account when delivering workshops.

• Open up opportunities to deliver workshops to any Leader applicable, ensuring the allocation of workshops is done fairly and consistently.

• Ensure LMK leaders have the information and resources required to deliver their workshop.

• Work closely with the Research and Evaluation Manager to ensure that the correct evaluation surveys are made available to workshop participants. 

• Work with our Head of Fundraising to track workshop delivery against funder commitments.

• Keep the CRM system data up to date in a timely way.

• Produce regular reports for the CEO on the booking and delivery of workshops, as well as any ad-hoc reports requested. 

• Share Leader evaluation feedback from workshops with Leaders.

• Check invoices submitted by LMK leaders, and work with the Programme Manager to get them approved. 

• Support the Programme Manager to organise LMK Leader Huddles and training events.

• Comply with our policies and procedures relating to safeguarding, confidentiality, complaints and data protection.

Person specification

• At least 2 years’ experience in an event management/admin management/executive assistant/operations role where there was a strong requirement to work with multiple stakeholders internally and externally.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an excellent track record of customer service.

• Proven ability to work well within a team.

• Highly organised to manage a diverse workload with excellent time management and ability to pay attention to detail.

• Excellent organisational skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Creative thinker with the ability to problem-solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent IT skills across core MS/Google packages, ideally with experience of CRM use

The Role: 

As the Partnerships Officer, you will support the Partnerships Team on business development, managing a portfolio of small trusts, foundations, and donors, as well as researching new opportunities. 

Our places and volunteers are crucial to us. They know their communities best. This role will support our local Delivery teams to build new partnerships and grow our places. The role will also platform the voices of our volunteers to lead the development of our services.  This post will play a key role in the Partnerships Team. 

Your core responsibilities will consist of supporting the Partnerships team & wider organisation in growing Volunteering Matters and its family of brands. Managing a portfolio of small trusts, foundations, and donors; supporting the Partnerships team & wider organisation with relationship management of major donors as well as developing and researching opportunities for business development with regional partners and stakeholders.

• Support the Partnerships team and wider organisation to grow Volunteering Matters locally. 
• Manage a portfolio of small trusts, foundations, and donors, including leading on small trust applications & reports.

We are looking for a Member Engagement Officer to assist a lively and talented team with all areas of Remember a Charity’s membership administration, in addition to supporting the marketing and partnerships workstreams.

This is a unique opportunity not only to help grow charitable giving, but to also work closely with those member charities (close to 200) who rely on gifts in Wills to continue their vital work.

Key Accountabilities

• To maintain and update records on Remember A Charity’s CRM database and E-Comms mailing lists for charities, legal supporters and partner organisations. To run CRM reports as required.
• To assist with the onboarding of new joiner charities and legal sector supporters.
• To use the website content management system (CMS) to build member charity and legal sector supporter online profiles; and to make any amends to these profiles and other website pages as required.
• To manage the central Inbox and respond to all enquiries or signpost to the relevant team member.
• To co-ordinate the programme of rolling annual membership renewal and new-joiner invoicing, including credit control of all invoices.
• To prepare monthly engagement report  collating key activity metrics for members and legal sector supporters.
• To assist with online and in person member, prospect, and legal sector supporter events, including creating registration links, managing attendee information on the CRM, and other events preparation and follow-up required.
• Representing Remember A Charity at key charity and legal sector exhibitions when required.

About the Role

As the Supporter Engagement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our engagement strategies to cultivate relationships with our valued Christian* supporters. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, you will lead initiatives to increase prayer, giving, and church engagement, aligning with our broader objectives. You will manage our Supporter Engagement Co-ordinator, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of our supporter-centric initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive supporter engagement strategy to bolster our supporter base and enhance engagement levels.
• Curate a tailored stewardship journey for major donors and legacy pledges, providing personalised communications and resources to foster continued support.
• Oversee the management of our supporter database/CRM, ensuring compliance with GDPR and all relevant legislation.
• Utilise data analytics to design targeted campaigns and initiatives aimed at expanding our supporter network across various channels and touchpoints.
• Lead church engagement efforts, forging and nurturing connections with local and national churches and networks.
• Collaborate with our Activities and Community Engagement (ACE) Facilitators to enhance engagement within our care homes and housing schemes.
• Drive regular prayer communications, fostering a culture of prayer support through various platforms including our online Prayer Wall.
• Organise and lead supporter-facing events such as exhibitions and conferences to facilitate meaningful interactions with existing and prospective supporters.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and share insights with internal teams to inform strategic decision-making.

About You

• Minimum of three years of experience in the charity or third sector.
• Proven track record in supporter engagement and database management.
• Good understanding of UK GDPR regulations.
• Familiarity with fundraising functions and project management.
• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong proficiency in written and verbal communication.
• Innovative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Team player with a reliable and detail-oriented work ethic.

Reporting to the Individual Giving Acquisition Manager you will work as part of the Individual Giving Team, recruiting new donors and maximising income across a variety of direct marketing campaigns and activities, supporting on a variety of projects across Individual Giving; including Face to Face, direct mail, email, digital, and telephone campaigns, including work on the national fundraising Lottery.

The successful candidate will be expected to attend our Euston office once a week, although there is some flexibility around this for the right candidate.

About the role

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Administration: You'll be integral to delivery of our handyperson service, exercise programmes for older people and decluttering service, managing enquiries, referrals, bookings, invoices and payments.

• Project Support: You'll help support our community projects, supervising activities where needed, assisting with admin and data collection, and being a point of contact for new and existing volunteers. 

• General Operations: You'll wear many hats, supporting senior staff with HR, training, communications, IT, health & safety, and providing a friendly face. 

We are looking for someone who:

• Has empathy and can communicate effectively with a diverse range of service users, including older adults, those with disabilities, and those facing mental health challenges.

• Is a whiz with administration, has a keen eye for detail, and can work comfortably and effectively across multiple projects.

• Is confident using (or comfortable learning to use) a range of software and collaborative platforms (e.g. Google Workspace, Trello, Airtable) and accounts management software (ideally QuickBooks). 

• Has a warm, friendly personality and a proactive attitude, eager to contribute ideas and support colleagues.
