We have an exciting 12-month Fixed Term Contract opportunity as a Community Fundraising & Engagement Officer at the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association, you will help shape and grow support across Northern Ireland for people affected by motor neurone disease by helping to generate vital income that enables us to deliver our mission.

Key responsibilities:

• Build on existing support for the MND Association across Northern Ireland
• Develop and support a network of volunteer fundraiser
• Plan and deliver community fundraising activity
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and new supporters, encouraging long-term engagement and loyalty within local communities through exceptional relationship management and stewardship.
• Attend fundraising events, community functions and meetings, delivering presentations and media interviews on behalf of the Association where appropriate (note these may be during evenings and weekends).
• Maintain accurate records using our CRM system
• Work closely with colleagues and volunteers to ensure a joined-up and consistent supporter experience.

About you

• You are a proactive Community Fundraising & Engagement Officer who:
• Has experience in fundraising, supporter engagement or relationship management
• Communicates clearly and builds trust with a range of people
• Works collaboratively and manages competing priorities
• Understands data protection and uses CRM systems confidently
• Is committed to the work of the MND Association
• Holds a UK driving licence with access to a vehicle

This is a home-based role with travel requirements across Northern Ireland and occasional travel to Northampton

We are excited to be working exclusively with Become, the national charity fighting alongside children and young people for a better care system.

They are looking for a Senior Fundraising Officer to cover a sabbatical for 7 months, the charity are looking for this role to start at the beginning of August.

You will bring strong experience across public fundraising, ideally with a mix of experience across Digital, Events/Community and stewardship.

Hybrid working is once a month in the London office.

The charity are going to interview on a rolling basis.

Key duties for the contract
Take a lead role in the development and management of fundraising income from individual donors, challenge events and community groups
Excellent supporter care and stewardship of individual givers and public fundraisers
Digital fundraising through website, social media marketing, and fundraising platforms
Lead stewardship of 100-person fundraising team at Big Half 2026
Excellent data management with Raisers Edge NXT

The Candidate
Between 3-5 years of public fundraising experience
Able to hit the ground running
Confident working independently
Strong communication skills
Strong analytical skills

Fundraising Compliance Officer (Temporary) London | Hybrid working | £17.03 per hour | 3-month duration

The Role

You’ll join a small, collaborative compliance function, working closely with colleagues across fundraising, data and legal teams. This is a hands-on role with a mix of operational delivery and process improvement.

You will play a key role in helping the organisation maintain high standards of compliance across all fundraising activity.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and triaging a busy compliance inbox, ensuring queries are responded to or escalated effectively
• Reviewing fundraising and marketing communications to ensure compliance with internal policies, data protection legislation and the fundraising code of practice
• Supporting GDPR and consent management processes, including maintaining records and reviewing documentation
• Assisting with the review of legitimate interest assessments and consent frameworks
• Monitoring third-party fundraising activity, including reviewing call recordings and identifying any compliance risks
• Supporting the production of complaints reports and analysis, providing insight to improve processes and supporter experience
• Contributing to the development of guidance and internal resources to strengthen compliance practices
• Building strong working relationships across fundraising, legal, data and supporter care teams

About You

This role would suit someone who is detail-focused, proactive, and confident working with policies and regulation in a fast-paced environment.
You will bring:

• Experience in compliance, GDPR, data protection, quality assurance or complaints handling
• Confidence interpreting and applying policies, regulations or governance frameworks
• A strong understanding of consent and communication preferences
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage a range of stakeholders
• High attention to detail and the ability to identify risks and recommend improvements

Experience within the charity, public sector, regulatory or membership environment would be beneficial, but is not essential.

About the Team 
You’ll be part of a collaborative and supporter-focused fundraising team, working alongside Events colleagues, Fundraising, Marketing, and Operations teams to deliver a wide range of high-impact events. About the Role 
Working under the guidance of the Fundraising Events Manager and with fellow Events Officers, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional supporter experience, delivering high quality events, coordinating logistics, and helping our charity maximise income, engagement and brand impact across all fundraising events throughout the year.

What You’ll Do 

• Respond promptly and professionally to supporter queries across multiple events
• Assist with planning and delivery of a broad annual programme of events
• Support creation of reports, trackers and dashboards across the events portfolio

What We’re Looking For 

• Experience in events, fundraising, customer service or similar supporter-facing roles
• Understanding of event planning principles
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

This advert is for a full time permanent position at 35 Hours per week.
