We work at the intersect of suicide prevention, online safety, and tech accountability to demand a safer online world and move beyond the preventable harm. Working closely with the Head of Partnerships and Fundraising, we’re looking for a Trusts and Foundations Manager to join our small team at a critical growth point to build and deliver a Trusts Fundraising Strategy (currently projected to generate c.£600K in 2027) laying the groundwork for long term, sustainable income generation as part of our wider Fundraising Strategy.

This is a new role for someone with substantial experience working in Trusts Fundraising, as well as strong project development skills, who can take our fledgling portfolio of funders and transform it into a pool of engaged supporters invested in MRF’s work in the long-term. You will have a demonstrable track record of securing five-six figure sums, the ability to create propositions in collaboration with programmatic colleagues, and the confidence to present compelling cases for support to a range of philanthropic organisations. You will also have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, a keen eye for connecting philanthropic organisations to the right projects to develop meaningful relationships, and the skills to deliver high-quality, detailed bids to further our strategic objectives.

We're particularly interested in hearing from applicants with experience working in one or more of the following areas: online safety, tech accountability, suicide prevention, education or children’s mental health.

Frazzled is a mental health and wellbeing charity founded by Ruby Wax OBE. We provide free, facilitated peer support meetings for people feeling overwhelmed by the stresses of modern life.

Our online and face-to-face meetings offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where people can share openly, listen to others and feel heard. Everything we do is underpinned by high-quality volunteer facilitation, thoughtful training and a supportive community.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an organised, compassionate and proactive Programme Coordinator to help deliver and develop our programme of peer support meetings, while ensuring our volunteers feel confident, supported and connected.

Purpose of the role

The Programme Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of Frazzled's online and face-to-face peer support programme.

Working closely with the Head of Programmes, you'll oversee Frazzled’s meeting schedules, recruit and support volunteer facilitators, coordinate training and onboarding, carry out regular observations and contribute to the continuous improvement of our programme. You'll play a key role in ensuring our services are delivered safely, consistently and in line with the Frazzled model.

This is a varied hands-on role that combines excellent organisation with relationship building, volunteer development and continuous improvement. You'll be equally comfortable organising complex schedules, supporting volunteers through challenging situations and contributing ideas that help our programmes continue to grow while staying true to what makes Frazzled unique.

Frazzled runs meetings from early morning until late evening, seven days a week. As a core part of this role involves observing and supporting facilitators as issues arise, some evening and weekend work will therefore be required as well as regular travel to our face-to-face sites across England.

Programme Coordination

• Coordinate the delivery of Frazzled's programme of online and face-to-face peer support meetings.

• Carry out regular facilitator observations, both online and in person, providing thoughtful and constructive feedback.

• Support volunteers to develop their confidence, skills and understanding of the Frazzled model.

• Identify and respond appropriately to safeguarding, wellbeing or performance concerns, escalating where necessary.

• Help maintain the quality, consistency and integrity of all Frazzled meetings.

Programme Development

• Contribute to the ongoing development of Frazzled's programme, systems and volunteer experience.

Our client is a small, community-focused charity tackling poverty and food insecurity in one of North West London’s most disadvantaged communities. Their services aim to prevent hunger, fight poverty and build community by working with families living in poverty, asylum seekers and refugees and people experiencing homelessness and social isolation. At an exciting time of change, they are now looking to recruit an Interim Advice Manager to lead a busy multi-site advice service, supporting people with welfare benefits, housing, debt and immigration issues. As Interim Advice Manager you will oversee the daily delivery of our client’s busy advice service, overseeing a small team of staff and volunteers, driving quality and compliance, and helping shape future service development. You’ll maintain a high quality of service by ensuring that the advice team and volunteers work to agreed standards and deliver against realistic grant agreements from funders and will also maintain a small caseload of clients. You’ll also work closely with the senior leadership team and the Head of Advice to support the implementation of new exciting initiatives and the expansion of the information and advice service.

You don’t need to have managed grants before, but you do need to have a good understanding of a wide range enterprises and charities, gained through experience of training, business consultancy or development support. You will have a good understanding of business models, legal structures and financial systems that social and environmental organisations and community run and owned businesses may use. You will need to understand social enterprise finances, be able to read accounts, budgets, cashflows and have a good knowledge of social enterprise income streams.

We need someone who understands how hard it is to start up and grow social and environmental enterprises and can support people from diverse backgrounds in managing their grant, finances and growing their business.

The Inland Waterways Association (IWA) is the only independent, national charity supporting and regenerating Britain’s rivers and canals for leisure, living and business. Role Overview

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a key member of HCPT’s Senior Leadership Team, responsible for the effective delivery and high performance of all operational and business support aspects of the charity’s work. This includes leadership of all business support functions; Finance, HR, IT and Governance, working with and through internal teams and external business partners.  As such we are looking for an experienced chartered accountant who is also astute in leading the wider business operation of medium sized charity.

The postholder will have oversight of the quality and efficiency aspects of all that we do in planning and execution of pilgrimages, care & safeguarding, compliance and infrastructure and will support the CEO to develop a culture of accountability and high impact, whilst staying true to our values of: Compassion, Faith, Inclusion, Community and Celebration.

The COO will ensure that HCPT’s operations are safe, efficient, and aligned with our Catholic ethos and mission of inclusion and care, and that our performance is optimised to deliver excellence, which is:  THE BEST pilgrimage experience we can offer as defined and measured by our beneficiaries and volunteers.

This is a senior role in volunteer-led organisation and as such the successful postholder will be required to exercise flexibility with evening and weekend work to meet the business needs of the charity, given the availability of our volunteer leaders who have professional commitments during the day. The role also requires the post holder to travel to and work in Lourdes for two weeks over Easter each year, leading operational delivery of our largest annual pilgrimage.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Leadership

• Work closely with the CEO to implement HCPT’s strategic plan and vision.
• Lead and line manage internal business support functions and outsourced partners across; finance, HR and IT delivering excellence in our infrastructure.

• Own and lead all financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across the organisation.

Person Specification

Essential

• Significant experience in a senior operational leadership role, ideally within a UK charity or faith-based organisation.
• Strong demonstrable financial leadership and management of a medium sized charity with a turnover of £4m plus, and a recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Strong experience of developing and delivering improvement methodology in change management programmes.
• Strong understanding of UK charity governance, safeguarding, and financial management.
• The ability to travel to Lourdes for two weeks each Easter to deliver the largest annual event for the charity.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• An understanding of HCPT’s spirituality, mission and values.

Desirable

• Experience working with Lourdes pilgrimages or Catholic diocesan structures.
• Familiarity with medical or care provision in a group travel context.

As Welcome Team Leader you will work as part of the Engagement team, leading a team of Welcome Hosts to provide a warm welcome and overall excellent visitor experience at Southwark Cathedral. Acting as a central point of contact, you will lead, support and develop the Welcome Team to deliver a friendly and engaging visit and ensure a high standard of customer service. Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Act as main point of contact with Welcome Team acting for daily visitor engagement operations, liaising with other onsite teams, including Vergers, Retail, Property and Enterprise;
• Line manage the paid Welcome Team, ensuring a high standard of welcome and visitor service is provided;
• Carry out regular walk rounds of the site to support Welcome Team members, collaborate and provide feedback and ensure standards are consistently met;
• Cover Welcome Team positions as an when required, providing a welcoming, friendly and engaging visitor experience to all visitors to the Cathedral;
• Organise monthly rotas for the Welcome Team to ensure all days are adequately staffed, managing annual leave, sickness and overtime requests;
