Trust fundraising at Battersea has grown significantly over the past few years, from £1m in 2022 to £2.75m in 2025. Working closely with the Trusts Officer and Trusts Lead, you will secure vital funding from Trusts and Foundations to support the welfare of dogs and cats across the UK and internationally.

As the Trusts Manager, you will manage your own portfolio of five-figure Trust donors and take ownership of relationships to secure funding from both existing and new supporters. You will also support the Trusts Officer to deliver bi-annual Small Trusts Mailings and the Trusts Lead to deliver significant partnerships.

You will be proactive and motivated, with a passion for animal welfare and an aptitude for building relationships. You are a strong communicator with excellent writing skills which will enable you - with support from the team - to craft compelling funding proposals that resonate with donors.

This role is central to the smooth running of our new regional programme. As Programme Coordinator, you’ll work closely with the Programme Manager to support delivery, coordination, communication/engagement and administration.

You’ll be involved in everything from troubleshooting and responding to enquiries from schools, to preparing materials for stakeholders, updating delivery and engagement records on our CRM database, and helping gather data on programme impact. You’ll also support the development of case studies and feedback that help us communicate the difference the programme is making.

What you’ll be doing:

Programme coordination & admin support

• Provide day-to-day administrative support for the programme, as directed by the Programme Manager

• Ensure programme data is entered and managed effectively using our CRM (Salesforce)

• Support the coordination of services, training and communications with schools

• Assist with monitoring and evaluation by gathering and organising feedback, data and impact stories

• Help build inspiring case studies that reflect the programme’s progress and success
   

Customer service & stakeholder engagement

• Be the first point of contact for schools and partners, answering queries by phone, email and helpdesk

• Ensure a high standard of customer service across all channels, following up promptly where needed

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with schools, local authorities and colleagues

• Help prepare programme materials for internal use and for external stakeholders
   

Team support & collaboration

• Contribute to internal meetings and planning processes as required

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious Programme Manager with extensive experience of new business development within the non-profit sector, strong knowledge of project management tools, a belief in collaborative working, and a positive and big-picture outlook. They will play a key role in the alignment and delivery of a portfolio of strategic projects relating to our cross-cutting programme of work to strengthen postgraduate education of health workers in our partner countries.

Working in partnership with Ministries of Health, healthcare institutions, leading medical and nursing schools and other stakeholders, the postholder will support the design and management of programmes, develop funding proposals in line with our strategy and the strategic objectives of our partners, and align our work on postgraduate education of health workers across all five countries. About You

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience: 

Essential criteria

1. Degree in relevant subject (Global Health, International Development or aligned subject) and experience of working in a low- and middle-income country setting
2. Extensive experience in managing multiple projects (including large and complex grants/contracts) throughout the full project cycle
3. Financial management and budgeting experience for complex multi-year, multi-partner projects
4. Experience of developing and reporting on MEL strategies for large and complex programmes, including developing indicators, theories of change, learning processes and undertaking analysis and evaluation of programmes

As the London Sexual Health Services Manager, you will lead METRO’s London-based Sexual & Reproductive Health services, overseeing a range of programmes including sexual health, outreach, and youth engagement. 

This role will manage and oversee the daily operations of the Sexual Health Office (SHO), including staffing, results management, and phone helpline services. The successful applicant will lead and develop a team of staff, providing supervision, training, and performance management.

This role is also responsible for overseeing the implementation and evaluation of sexual health programmes, including the National Chlamydia Screening Programme (NCSP) and C-card (condom) schemes. The post-holder will work closely with other colleagues in our communications team to facilitate this.

This role is responsible for supporting engagement and reach targets across the National Chlamydia Screening Programme (NCSP) and C-Card scheme, delivered across multiple London boroughs. To achieve this, the London Sexual Health Services Manager will manage a small team of lead and frontline staff. The role will include regular liaison with professional stakeholders, including commissioners, and may involve occasional direct delivery of outreach activities.

In addition, this role will lead the Young Greenwich (YG) sexual health team within the Royal Borough of Greenwich (RBG), overseeing a range of activities including outreach, youth hub engagement, one-to-one support, and training. The successful applicant will also have oversight of the Sexual Health Office (SHO) and the South West London (SWL) programme. Collaboration will be essential, as this role will work closely with other METRO managers involved in Young Greenwich delivery, as well as with our delivery partners at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust and Charlton Athletic Community Trust.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety Officer to join our Estates Team. In your role as the Health & Safety Officer will be to provide support on an operational basis to the health & safety function.

Role Requirements

• Promote good stakeholder involvement and good safety culture
• Prepare and issue monthly health and safety briefing documents / toolbox talks
• Keep health and safety information up to date, including all fire safety documentation (fire emergency plans, fire safety manuals etc.), the health and safety section of the intranet and shared documents
• Carry out regular walkabouts, including at retail stores, keeping in touch with staff on their safety arrangements and ensuring control measures are in place and effective
• Provide health and safety training and coaching on topics such as, but not limited to, general health & safety (induction and refresher training), fire safety, COSHH, risk assessing and manual handling

• Carry out general risk assessment, as required, with particular emphasis on retail, regulatory requirements, outings and the clinical environment.

Katherine Low Settlement has worked with older people since its conception in 1924.They are a core part of the community that we continue to work with. We provide, often in partnership, a range of projects and activities for older people including health and wellbeing; creative arts; intergenerational work; connecting people and trips/outings. 

Our services include Battersea Bites, Age Well and Core social activities and digital inclusion.

We work with people 50+ to: 

• Encourage active and independent living

Key Objectives for this Role 

Oversee the day-to-day running of our Battersea Bites Programme that includes a lunch club for people 50+ that runs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and a healthy eating session on Mondays. This includes leading in the planning, shopping and preparation and provision of meals, the responsibility for the day-to-day running of the kitchen including overseeing a team of volunteers and ensuring compliance with relevant Health & Safety and Food Hygiene requirements. 

Roles & Responsibilities 

Planning 

• Plan and develop a monthly lunch service menu, a month in advance, using creative license to provide nutritious, varied, and satisfying meals that meet diverse dietary requirements (e.g., allergies, cultural needs, vegetarian/vegan options) while strictly adhering to Health & Safety and food hygiene regulations. 

• Develop ideas for Battersea Bites Healthy cook and eat/ other sessions with the Age Well Team.

• Handle purchases and expense tracking using the Soldo card, ensuring full compliance with the bank card usage policy, and submitting all receipts and records promptly and accurately for financial oversight and reporting, for which training can be provided.

• Create several themed menus throughout the year which will engage members. For example, a Summer Lunch, an Afternoon Tea, etc.

• Support the planning of the older people’s lunch club with older people themselves

• Support the Elders team to welcome and support new members to feel part of the programme. 

Delivery 

• Complete a weekly food shop either online (we currently use Asda delivery service) or locally, buying fresh ingredients weekly which fall within the financial budget. 

• Prepare, cook and serve healthy meals, ensuring dietary needs are met 

• Undertake stock control such as stock rotation, ensuring all food items are labelled with expiry dates and disposed of when necessary. 

• Ensure all equipment is ready and set up for the lunch club service. 

• Ensure the security of the kitchen and store cupboards to provide a safe working environment. (Our cupboards are locked.)

• To ensure routine day-to-day as well as specialised cleaning of kitchen equipment, work surfaces, kitchen floors and storage areas. 

• Keep accurate and up-to-date records, including the health and safety folder containing opening and closing checks. Training can be provided.

• Ensure your hygiene and cleanliness are of the highest standard, and those of anyone entering the kitchen, including volunteers, are suitably dressed and uphold the same standards 

• Be part of and work closely with the Elders Team at KLS 

• Support elders who attend the club so that the sessions are safe and enjoyable for them.

• Inform the Manager (or in their absence the Head of Service) of any concerning incidents, compliments, complaints or accidents (including safeguarding issues).

• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills by quickly and calmly addressing kitchen challenges and ensuring smooth meal preparation under pressure.

• Take part in the monitoring and evaluation of the programme under the guidance of the Managers of the 50+ programme

• Coordinate with staff and volunteers to ensure efficient meal service.

• To attend any relevant training sessions to ensure that you are fully equipped to perform your role effectively

• Have acquired or are willing to Level 2 and Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate

The Training Lead - Projects & DFTP (Digital First Transformation Programme) will design, develop and deliver training strategies and plans that successfully support and empower stakeholders to adopt new systems, products, processes and ways of working that align to the MHFA England strategy. The postholder will provide business partnering support to all directorates, working with directors, strategic leads, business SMEs and external stakeholders to identify training needs that will lead to high levels of change readiness and adoption. The role will be involved in producing and analysing data to inform and feed into the People team strategy, especially for the first three months. Working closely with the Head of People, Wellbeing & Equity and the wider People team and covering for each other as needed, this role will lead on allocated projects pertaining to organisational and individual learning. The role holder will work with the internal stakeholders on developing and delivering interventions to improve communication with, and engagement of, staff and support wellbeing of colleagues. Equity will be embedded in all aspects of the work of the People team to foster an inclusive environment for everyone in the MHFA England community.

We are seeking a results-driven Acquisition Marketing Manager (known at Guide Dogs as Committed Giving Acquisition Campaign Manager) to lead our Acquisition team and manage supporter acquisition across key regular giving fundraising products such as Sponsor a Puppy and Lucky Lottery. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and delivering marketing plans to maximise income, meet acquisition targets, and ensure the long-term success of our campaigns.

You’ll manage and execute direct marketing campaigns ensuring they meet income and expenditure goals. You will also line manage and lead a team of Officers and Executives to deliver these campaigns, collaborating with the Committed Giving Product Manager to support their development. Key responsibilities include contributing to the wider fundraising strategy, analysing campaign data to optimise return on investment, and fostering strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams. You will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and contribute to the continuous improvement of existing products, as well as ideate new propositions for testing. Your work will help guide people with sight loss to live the life they choose.

Role purpose

Compass is a service designed to support adults (18 years and over) in H&F and Hounslow. The service provides support with welfare benefits, debt, housing and well-being/peer support groups/workshops.

The role of the Information and Advice Worker will be to provide advice, guidance and customer representation to H&F and Hounslow residents living with mental health problems. Advice issues may include, housing, benefits, council tax, debt, signposting etc.

The successful candidate will deliver support to enquirers and manage a caseload of individuals as agreed with the service manager. In addition to advice casework, the Advice Worker will also be expected to assist onboarding referrals to the service when needed.

The successful candidate will be required to work alongside the Advice Team Leader and volunteers supporting on the project.  

The Advice Worker will be required to work within the Advice Quality Standard framework (AQS), adhere to Mind’s policies and procedures.

Due to the nature of the work, if successful, you will need to have an up-to-date DBS check completed prior to undertaking unsupervised client work.  

Place of work

The Advice Worker will be required to work both from home and the H&F and Hounslow office when necessary, alongside work in the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver support to enquirers and manage a caseload of individuals as agreed with the service manager.
• Deliver monthly wellbeing peer support groups/workshops.
• Provide advice and information relating to all welfare benefits, including assisting clients with form filling and contacting agencies such as the Department for Work & Pensions on their behalf
• Provide housing advice
• Provide general money and debt management advice
• Provide information on employment opportunities and training support for clients.
• Signpost to other relevant services in the boroughs, or further afield.
• Attend training, forums and meetings to ensure knowledge remains relevant and up to date

• Use our database Views to record details of all client referrals and contacts to ensure client information is kept up to date.

At Single Homeless Project's (SHP) Elms, we’re looking for a passionate and experienced Support Assistant ready to make a lasting difference in people's lives. Elms is a vibrant service based in Leyton (Waltham Forest) that brings together supported housing, a daytime activity programme, and a small floating support service. The supported housing element provides longer-term placements for adults with a diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia, some of whom may also be managing physical health needs. Here, you’ll play a vital role in supporting residents to maintain their daily routines, manage their treatment, and grow in confidence as they move toward greater independence. From encouraging healthy eating and personal care to assisting with medication prompts and helping to keep living spaces welcoming and safe, you’ll be a consistent and trusted presence in their journey.

You’ll also contribute to our lively day service, where activities like bowling, lunch clubs and gardening groups help individuals reconnect with their community, learn new skills, and find joy in shared experiences. In addition, you’ll support former residents who are now living semi-independently, offering that extra bit of help as they navigate life with increasing autonomy.
