Please note this is a hybrid role based on the successful candidate working at least two days a week in our London office. Remote contracts would not be considered for this role.

Purpose of Role

As an Assistant Producer at Comic Relief, you’ll help bring bold stories and creative ideas to life across various platforms and outputs. With a background in celebrity, comedy or branded content, you’ll help captivate audiences and drive engagement, largely focusing on the entertainment portion of our brand, but with opportunities in factual storytelling.

With a hands-on approach and sitting at the heart of our Creative Services team, you’ll transform briefs into reality, producing high impact, engaging content that resonates with our audiences. One week you might be developing a social-first YouTube format or editing social video content, the next, supporting on a livestream, producing corporate partner communications, or helping to plan a photoshoot.

You will combine creativity with smart production processes, sparking original ideas and new approaches to how we work. By championing inclusive storytelling and amplifying diverse voices both in front of and behind the camera, you’ll help ensure Comic Relief stays bold, relevant, and truly reflective of the audiences we serve.

Key responsibilities:

· Creative innovation – strategically respond to briefs with creativity, drawing on expertise, industry and pop culture knowledge to develop bold ideas that resonate with intended audiences, drive engagement and generate income.

· Sell the vision – craft treatments, pitch decks, and creative documents to bring ideas to life and secure buy-in from stakeholders across the organisation.

· Run productions end-to-end – from research and creative ideation to shoot production, post-production, and delivery. Create schedules, manage budgets, and keep projects moving by facilitating key meetings and aligning stakeholders.

· Collaborate creatively – work closely with a diverse range of producers, writers, designers, editors, and other partners (internal and external) to develop and deliver content that meets strategic briefs.

· Support on shoots with confidence – assisting with the set up and management of production days, briefing teams and freelancers, and when necessary, camera operating and directing talent/contributors to capture the best possible content.

· Champion best practice – work with Production Management to ensure productions meet safeguarding, consent, health & safety, risk management, and legal requirements, in partnership with Production Management colleagues.

· Drive efficiency – follow operational processes to make sure resources are used smartly and projects are delivered on time and within budget.

· Champion inclusive creativity – ensure diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are at the heart of our work, both in front of and behind the lens.

· Stay culture-savvy – keep up to date on trends, platforms, and production best practice, sharing expertise across the team.

Person specification

Essential criteria

· Creative experience – you’ve helped produce entertainment or branded content for established brands, charities, or channels.

· Video production skills – confident ideating and creating engaging, relevant short-form video content from planning through to delivery.

· Shooting experience – used to arranging and contributing on shoots, including camera operating, interviewing, and supporting senior creatives.

· Editing experience – Adobe Premiere editing skills and experience edit-producing, leading video post-production for a range of outlets, particularly social media.

· Social media knowledge – experience across major platforms with an understanding of best practice, and curiosity for new trends and audience habits.

· Production know-how – attention to detail, strong editorial judgement, and ability to follow established processes and workflows.

· Multi-tasking – proven ability to manage multiple projects in dynamic environments, keeping organised and making clear editorial decisions.

· Communication skills – you can express your ideas clearly and confidently to gain stakeholder buy-in on suggested creative approaches.

Desirable criteria 

· Fundraising campaign experience – you know the difference between fundraising content and awareness content, and how to approach each.

· Innovation mindset – interest in experimenting with new creative formats, platforms, or technologies.

· Income generation – experience in creating content that has a proven ability to generate income or creates new revenue streams.

· Motion graphics – ability to create own graphic elements, such as animated logos, endboards, lower-thirds, in Adobe After Effects a plus.

· Relationship building – evidence of maintaining strong partnerships with stakeholders, freelancers, and external partners.

Women in Prison (WIP) supports women affected by the criminal justice system and campaigns to end the harm it causes.

This is a new role which has been created to provide the vision and direction for our programming and systems change work as we embed our 2025-2030 strategy. Our ambition is to offer women in prisons and the community, impactful direct support that is more independent of government demands and funding, and with a new and deeper partnership model.

Our strategy also challenges us to mobilise women, drive women-led influencing and campaigning and co-design programmes with women with experience of the justice system.  We know we must design and deliver programmatic work that incorporates systems change work so that we are not propping up a harmful existing system.  The problem in the criminal justice system is not the women themselves, but the structures and systems that oppress them. Women in Prison is taking bold steps to design and embed new programmes that build evidence that directly challenge those harmful systems.

In this role you will:

Co-design and deliver quality programmes delivering measurable and impactful outcomes for women

Drive stronger influence and visibility with policymakers, funders and partners

Ensure that evidence from programmes is driving successful campaigns and policy changes

Develop your team so they are empowered, motivated and focused on delivering on the strategy and values of Women in Prison

The successful candidate is likely to bring a proven track record in a senior leadership role within in a charity/NGO in programming, policy, or advocacy. You will be a strategic thinker with the ability to connect operational delivery to systemic change, and bring a track record of success  in influencing policy, funding decisions, and/or public opinion.

JOB FUNCTION: To lead the day-to-day delivery and development of the Foundation’s grant-making and charitable partnerships portfolio, acting as a key relationship owner for grantees and charity partners. The role will ensure high-quality stewardship, support, governance and impact reporting across existing grants, while also playing a key role in the design, development of new grant programmes aligned to the Foundation’s strategic priorities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Grant-making & Portfolio Management

Charitable Relationship Management

Experience

About the Role

A key leader within the ambitious and forward-thinking Fundraising & Communications Team at The Connection at St Martin’s, the Head of Supporter Involvement plays a central role in inspiring, growing and stewarding our community of supporters.

This role is all about connection - building meaningful, lasting relationships with individuals and bringing them closer to our vision of ending homelessness. Through creative, insight-led campaigns and engaging supporter journeys, you will help people understand the impact of their support and feel part of a movement for change.

You will lead on two of our flagship acquisition campaigns - our Threads of Remembrance installation, and our mixed media campaign Dying For - shaping compelling narratives and experiences that resonate deeply with supporters and drive engagement and income. Alongside this, you will provide strategic and line management leadership to our Events and Community Fundraising function, ensuring high-quality, inspiring opportunities for supporters to get involved, give, and advocate.

Working closely with colleagues across Fundraising and Communications, you will develop and deliver innovative Individual Giving and community engagement campaigns across digital and offline channels, with a strong focus on stewardship - ensuring every supporter feels valued, informed, and motivated to continue their journey with us. You will also lead on our work with the Friends of The Connection, our sister charity and membership community, to strengthen supporter engagement and loyalty.

We are looking for someone with a strong track record in Individual Giving, ideally with digital expertise, and a passion for creating outstanding supporter experiences. You will bring a solutions-focused mindset, an ability to translate sector best practice into action, and the confidence to test new ideas and approaches.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone ready to broaden their leadership impact - shaping campaigns, growing community fundraising and events, and playing a key role in how we bring supporters on board with our mission.

Every day, people in our borough face the reality of homelessness. Every person facing homelessness needs practical support, stability and someone who believes their situation can change.This role is central to making that change happen.

As Operations Manager, you will help ensure that our services run effectively and compassionately, enabling people experiencing homelessness to access the support they need to rebuild their lives. You will manage a small, committed team, strengthen how our services operate, and help shape the way we respond to homelessness locally.

FCENS is a small and ambitious charity working alongside local partners, volunteers and people with lived experience of homelessness to deliver meaningful change in the community in Waltham Forest.

Our Vision is that no-one needs to be homeless in Waltham Forest and everyone has a place to go. Our Mission is to support single homeless adults in Waltham Forest towards transforming their lives.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to oversee the effective day-to-day running of the charity’s services and internal operations.

Reporting to the Director, you will ensure that services are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You will also play an important role in strengthening operational systems and processes, helping the charity improve and grow its impact.

You will manage a small operational team including caseworkers, lived experience coaches, an administrator and an evening worker, supporting them to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed and person-centred support to people experiencing homelessness. You’ll also use your strategic thinking skills to help improve service provision.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

• Oversee the day-to-day delivery of the charity’s services.
• Plan and manage the annual night shelter season and the year-round drop-in centre.
• Maintain oversight of case management, outreach activity and data systems.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and organisational policies.
• Oversee administrative and IT systems, including effective use of the case management system.

Service Development

• Review operational systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Implement changes that improve efficiency, quality and impact.
• Use data, feedback and lived experience insight to inform service development.

Leadership and Team Management

• Line manage operational staff, providing supervision, guidance and performance management.
• Foster a supportive, inclusive and accountable team culture.
• Support staff wellbeing, training and reflective practice.
• Oversee the recruitment, induction and support of volunteers.

Strategic Contribution

• Work closely with the Charity Director to translate strategic aims into operational plans.
• Contribute to organisational planning, policy development and reporting.

Partnership Working

• Work collaboratively with other homelessness organisations and local partners.
• Support the development of positive relationships with local authorities, funders and stakeholders.
• Represent the charity in meetings and forums where appropriate.

About You

We are looking for someone with both strong operational experience in the homelessness sector and a commitment to supporting people experiencing homelessness. You will identify with FCENS values, with a strong focus on trauma-informed care and lived experience.

You will bring:

• Significant experience in the homelessness sector or a related field such as housing, rough sleeping, outreach or multiple disadvantage.
• Experience managing services or operations within a small team or organisation.
• Experience line managing staff and supporting frontline practitioners.
• A strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management and good practice in frontline support services.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.

The Role

What will I be doing?

You’ll be responsible for a range of activities, including:

• Designing, commissioning, and delivering the IOP’s public engagement strategy
• Reaching diverse public audiences across the UK and Ireland, strengthening public understanding and appreciation of physics through strategic, impactful, and inclusive engagement activities
• Leading a team to deliver high quality and high impact programmes and projects
• Leading fundraising to support the IOP's public engagement and public dialogue work

Projects you may work on include:

• Overseeing the IOP’s UK and Ireland public engagement and dialogue programme, ensuring activities align with societal challenges and/or physics themes (e.g., climate change, health)
• The IOP’s Limit Less initiative which aims to break down barriers that can put off young people from underrepresented backgrounds from pursuing physics
• Administering the IOP’s Public Engagement Grants Scheme (PEGS)

Who will I work with?

You’ll work closely with a range of colleagues and stakeholders, including:

• Multiple IOP teams, including EDI, policy and public affairs, communications and marketing, membership and national teams
• The IOP's Business Development Group to help shape the IOP's overall approach to fundraising

• Equipping members with the tools and resources to engage the public effectively through a member-led approach to public engagement
• Working in partnership with organisations in and beyond STEM

Ideally, we hope you’ll apply if you bring:

Essential:

• A track record of designing and delivering high quality and wide-reaching public engagement in partnership with other organisations and with a track record of reaching different public audiences (ideally within a membership organisation)
• Experience of managing high performing teams and collaborating with peers
• Experience with and in depth understanding of audience research and acting on it to ensure diversity of reach
• Experience of budgeting and performance management of programmes

Nice to have:

• Experience of identifying risks associated with projects and activities and implementing effective mitigation plans

About the Role

As an Operations Manager, you will lead and manage the delivery of victim services supporting children and young people. You will ensure the provision of high-quality services and compliance with contractual and organisational standards as well as supporting the Area Manager to identify opportunities for service development.

The Executive Officer to CEO (Maternity Cover) leads the effective running of the CEO’s office, providing strategic project management, coordination of leadership priorities, and hands-on delivery across strategy development, planning and governance.

This is a pivotal role within War Child, sitting at the heart of the organisation’s leadership and governance. Working closely with the CEO, Leadership Group, Chair and Board of Trustees, the Executive Officer to CEO plays a key role in enabling effective decision-making, organisational oversight and delivery of War Child’s ambitions for children.

Reporting to the CEO and acting as a trusted representative of their office, you will be an energetic, highly organised self-starter with the judgement and confidence to balance strategic coordination with high-quality executive support. As Company Secretary, you will also support excellence in governance by ensuring War Child meets its statutory and regulatory obligations, including compliance and reporting to the Charity Commission, Companies House and the Fundraising Regulator.

This is a hybrid role, with two days per week expected in the London office and up to three days per week working remotely. Occasional additional office attendance may be required to support meetings or key organisational activity.

The Latin American Women’s Rights Service (LAWRS) is a human rights and feminist
organisation led by and for Latin American migrant women in the UK. Our work is dedicated to
supporting the immediate and long-term needs of Latin American migrant women exposed to
violations of their fundamental human rights; facing violence against women and girls,
exploitation or trafficking; enduring difficult living and working conditions in low paid jobs, and
facing barriers to social protection.
The post holder will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of LAWRS’
