About the role
As part of our Public Affairs team, you’ll lead on supporter content and digital communications, tailoring messages for different audiences to maximise reach and engagement. You’ll support research and report writing, monitor UK and EU policy developments, and track campaign performance to help shape future work. You’ll also play a key role in growing and engaging our supporter network—mobilising people to take action and strengthening our influence with decisionmakers.
This is a part-time role, working remotely for three days a week between 09:00 to 16:00. There is flexibility to discuss which days would suit you best, except for Wednesdays, which are required. You will be required to attend the charity’s head office located in Norfolk a minimum of 6 times per year and this will be at your own expense for travel and accommodation.
About you:
You’re a clear, confident communicator with experience writing for digital channels, using campaign technology and working collaboratively across teams. You build positive relationships with supporters and stakeholders and understand how campaigning can influence decision makers, supported by knowledge of UK and/or EU legislative frameworks. You’re organised and pro-active, able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment. Analytical and research skills, an understanding of equines and the ability to speak another language are desirable.

Reading Reboot is being developed to address the reading crisis and restore a love of reading for young people in Year 8, in communities facing the greatest disadvantage. This is an opportunity to lead a flagship national programme with the potential to shape future investment in school libraries, in a supportive, mission-driven team culture within a small but influential charity.
The Reading Reboot programme will establish librarian-led social book clubs in over 100 under-funded secondary school libraries across the UK and reach more than 6,000 young people directly, alongside librarians, senior leaders and wider school communities. Reading Reboot places school librarians at the heart of delivery, combining new book stock, inspiring author engagement, appealing library spaces, and a robust evaluation to evidence impact and inform future national roll-out.
The Project Manager will lead on development and delivery, working closely with the CEO, a Project Board and external evaluation team to ensure the programme meets its objectives on time, within budget and to a high quality. They will recruit and coordinate schools and librarians, work with partners and funders, and ensure that learning and impact are captured and shared across the sector. Building strong relationships with all stakeholders, the Project Manager will be the main point of contact for the programme and will support the CEO and Project Board with timely updates, papers and participation in meetings. Successful candidates will have extensive and demonstrable experience of project management in schools or youth settings. Experience of training development and delivery will be an advantage.

About the role
We are seeking an experienced, HCPC-registered Lead Creative Arts Therapist (Art or Music) to provide leadership and management of the Camden Schools project, alongside supervision and effective therapeutic practice.
This role is based at our Pears Pavilion centre in Bloomsbury and in Camden schools. All children’s therapy is provided in person. The post offers a unique opportunity to work alongside skilled art, music and drama therapists, family therapists and clinical psychologists. The service is led by a clinical psychologist and provides creative, relational and evidence-based psychotherapy approaches to children in Camden schools and to children who are referred in through our adoption and kinship referral pathway. We also collaborate with aligned services in our interventions, working with schools and communities to inform child-centred and trauma-informed practice.
This role requires a highly motivated, innovative professional and team player who enjoys working within a diverse, respectful and creative team. The post holder will receive supervision appropriate to their practising modality and will be line managed by the Head of Service. We seek to empower children and families using strengths-based narratives, providing safe therapeutic spaces that create opportunities for connection, vulnerability and the strengthening of resilience.
The successful candidate will have experience of managing and supervising therapists, delivering creative arts therapy in schools, and undertaking leadership responsibilities. A background in CAMHS and/or mental health teams in schools or social care services would be desirable, along with a good understanding of safeguarding planning and managing highly emotive situations. Experience of working with children who have experienced developmental trauma would also be an asset.

We do this by funding great initiatives, finding what works and working for change - scaling and spreading the practices that make a difference.
One of the most important things we do is ensure that our funding and commissioning processes run smoothly and deliver maximum impact. We manage significant grants and complex commissioning arrangements that support projects designed to make a lasting difference. To do this well, we need robust systems, clear governance and strong relationships with partners. This role is critical to making that happen. As our Senior Grants & Commissioning Manager, you’ll lead on optimising our grant management system Salesforce, oversee risk and compliance and drive improvements in commissioning and procurement across the organisation. You’ll be the go-to person for contracts, grant agreements, policy guidance and Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and enabling confident decision-making. By keeping everything organised and efficient, you will be helping us achieve our strategic goals and deliver on our mission.
Key Responsibilities

Job Title: Deputy Service Manager
Location: Based within a non-residential service in Wembley, working within communities, homes, and other residentials. This service does have step free access however we are unable to guarantee this at some of the other locations where the role is based such as homes and community based locations.
Salary: £31,700
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday on a rota working 09:00 - 17:00, hours may be extended 08:00 - 18:00. You may also be required to work outside these hours as per service/participant requirements. You will also take part in our out of hours on call rota for managers.
About the Role
This is a great opportunity for a Deputy Service Manager to join our team based in Wembley. You will support the Service Manager to ensure high quality service delivery, being a key contact for staff, helping them feel supported, skilled, and empowered within their roles. In this role you will be based within a service which is at the heart of delivering person-centred support to vulnerable adults who have been, or are at risk of homelessness.

The Peer Support In-Reach Service is a partnership between several local Minds. Senior Peer Support Workers and Peer Support Workers, who have direct lived experience of mental health issues, are working on in-patient wards in Croydon, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham and Wandsworth to provide recovery-focused peer support to people as they leave hospital and journey towards living independently in the community.
We are seeking a Senior Peer Support Worker to join the team in Lewisham and line manage the Peer Support Workers.
You will use your lived experience whilst on the ward to help people to build skills to manage their home, finances, connect with family and friends, pursue social or vocational interests, to get more involved in their local community and to stay physically and mentally well.
Your support will be person-centred and may include mentoring, coaching, emotional support and facilitating access to community activities, practical support, work or study. The role will be ward-based initially until the patient is ready for discharge; you will then work with them to develop their support plans and goals. You will support them with the transition into the community for up to 6 weeks, helping them to connect with community resources to ensure they are well-supported in the community and working towards their goals.

We’re looking for a Healthcare Improvement Officer to join our Improvement Programmes Team and help us deliver exciting initiatives that support healthcare professionals to improve prostate cancer services across the UK. Examples of projects supported include work around establishing better Active Surveillance so that more men can avoid unnecessary radical treatment; work to restructure and make faster the diagnostic pathway; work to coordinate with primary care and support earlier diagnosis; new surgical procedures that spare men the burden of incontinence. As Healthcare Improvement Officer, you’ll play a central role in making sure our programmes run smoothly and have maximum impact. You’ll oversee on the logistics and delivery of events across the UK and online, from our Clinical Champions Programme and Clinical Advisory Group meetings to our annual healthcare professional conference. You’ll also oversee recruitment for programmes, manage databases and monitoring systems, and handle financial processes such as invoices and purchase orders, ensuring everything is delivered on time and to a high standard.
Your work will range from planning and scheduling programmes, to procuring resources, preparing materials and helping to facilitate sessions so that participants are fully supported in their learning. You’ll also contribute to quality improvement project development and coordination, working with teams across Prostate Cancer UK to share good practice and expand the reach of our initiatives.
Engagement will be a key part of your role, from maintaining webpages and digital channels to supporting our alumni network through newsletters, communications and opportunities for continued involvement. You’ll help manage our online Clinical Champions learning hub and, with training provided, will also have the chance to coach and mentor clinicians using Insights Discovery (a psychometric tool helping people understand their own and others' behavioural preferences and communication styles).
What we want from you
We’re looking for someone who’s highly organised, comfortable working with people and able to keep several projects moving at once. Strong communication skills are essential, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt your style to suit different audiences, from clinicians to colleagues across the organisation.
You’ll bring experience in event planning and support, along with project coordination, and you’ll be comfortable managing webpages and creating online content. Volunteer Manager
Recruitment and the Volunteer Cycle
Lead on drafting volunteer role descriptions in collaboration with the recruitment
lead.
Undertake advertising of volunteer opportunities across multiple platforms
ensuring best practice in relation to safer recruitment and equal opportunities
practice.
Work with referral partners and community organisations where appropriate to
support participation.
Be responsible for the onboarding of volunteers including right to work checks,
induction scheduling, and induction reviews.
Managers volunteer leavers and the change in relationship, ensure volunteers are
removed from any formal communication channels and receive an exit interview
to document their experience.
Training, Learning and Development
Ensure all volunteers are compliant with the essential training modules such as
Safeguarding, Health and Safety and GDPR and maintain records of the same.
Report on these as required.
Lead on designing a progression pathway for volunteers who may wish to move
into other areas of learning, traineeships or apply for other opportunities.
Work closely with growers and other staff to plan and coordinate volunteer
involvement and support staff to work confidently and positively with volunteers.
Systems and Organisation
Be responsible for maintaining the volunteer's personal information in the
BrightHR system and in compliance with GDPR rules.
Lead on systematising the volunteer rotas whether regular volunteering or one
off activities.
Tracking attendance and ensuring we know who is on site when.
Volunteer Team Culture and Management
Lead the day-to-day coordination of the volunteer programme across growing
areas, site care, and related activities
Act as line manager for the volunteers, having regular opportunities for feedback
such as one to ones and communicate key messages from organisation leads that
are applicable to the volunteers.
Lead on buddy / peer support approaches within the volunteer programme
ensuring equality of experience of the volunteers.
Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive culture on site where people feel a
sense of belonging
Dedicate a portion of time to undertaking the tasks expected of volunteers
working hand on alongside volunteers and developing a deeper knowledge and
understanding of their day to day.
Work closely with all site users to ensure volunteers are integrated into real site
activities, particularly the growers team.
Monitoring and Evaluation Activities
Gather feedback [quantitative and qualitative] from volunteers and support the
ongoing development of the volunteer programme
Contribute to monitoring and reporting requirements linked to funded volunteer
activity
Ensure information required for reporting is up to date and accurate in time for
reporting deadlines and that those deadlines are met.
Support funding applications where appropriate.
Compliance
Ensure volunteer activities and management follow all organisational policies,
including safeguarding, health and safety and equality applicable to the volunteer.
Maintain clear professional boundaries and escalate safeguarding concerns in line
with procedure
Ensure that applicable internal policies and procedures are followed through in all
areas of work.
Also treat with confidentiality any information that could be deemed as personal,
private, or sensitive and comply with both organisations GDPR and Safeguarding
requirements.
Working with the Wider Team & Partnerships
Help build and maintain relationships with community partners linked to
volunteering and learning opportunities
Represent the volunteer programme internally and externally when required

Person Specification
Knowledge
Interest in sustainable food growing and community-led work
Knowledge of the full volunteer cycle including recruitment, onboarding,
supervision, development and exit processes
Knowledge of safer recruitment principles and equal opportunities practice
Understanding of safeguarding legislation and procedures, particularly when
working with vulnerable adults and/or young people
Knowledge of GDPR and data protection requirements in relation to volunteer
records
Skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage rotas, records, and multiple
volunteer streams simultaneously
Ability to write clear engaging content for varied audiences and for different
purposes.
Confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain positive

Experience
Experience of coordinating or managing volunteers or similar groups.
Supporting people with additional needs and mental health conditions.
Working in and understanding the needs of an on-site environment
Experience of recruitment and onboarding processes of volunteers.
Maintaining records and ensuring compliance with safeguarding, H&S and GDPR
Experience of working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team

Experience of supporting monitoring and reporting requirements

Practical horticulture or food growing experience such as seed sowing, planting,
