The charity manages seven depots across London, Suffolk, Merseyside and Hampshire and works with 16 network partners who operate a further 26 regional depots across the UK.

Job Purpose

Provide Executive Assistant support to senior executive leadership including Deputy CEO and Executive Director of Income Generation, and wider admin support to the Executive Leadership Team.

We require highly organised, self-reliant and a proactive Executive Assistant who works with high levels of autonomy and enjoys learning and develop.

Duties and Accountabilities

1. Support for the two executives includes:

• Executive Assistant to the Deputy CEO - ~50% of role
• Executive Assistant to Executive Director of Income Generation - ~40% of role
• Wider admin support to the Executive Leadership Team - ~10% of role

2. Support for the two executives includes:

• Strategic diary and time management – actively manages and sequences both executives’ calendars to protect focus time, align activity with strategic priorities, and minimise clashes.
• Scheduling and coordination – organise complex meetings and appointments, liaising confidently with internal stakeholders, external partners, donors, and senior contacts.
• End‑to‑end meeting support – plans and schedules meetings and events, prepares high‑quality agendas and materials, circulates pre‑reads, captures actions, and ensures timely follow‑up.
• Inbox oversight and triage – provides inbox management cover (e.g., during leave), prioritising messages, drafting responses, filtering requests, and ensuring executives receive only what requires their attention.
• Operational administration – maintains clear digital filing systems, documentation structures and record‑keeping practices to support continuity and ease of access.
• Stakeholder relationship management – builds strong, professional relationships with colleagues, clients, suppliers, and the broader support team, ensuring seamless coordination across teams.
• Project and research support – undertakes ad‑hoc research, prepares summaries, gathers information, and provides hands‑on support for projects led by the executives.
• Representation and support in meetings – attend meetings on behalf of the executives when required, ensuring effective notetaking, action capture and follow‑through.
• Cross‑team collaboration – supports the senior management team as required, including providing cover for other administrative or support colleagues during periods of absence.

3. Support to wider Executive Leadership team includes:

• Travel and logistics management - arranges travel, accommodation and itineraries, ensuring efficient, cost‑effective and well‑coordinated plans.
• Meeting and event preparation - prepares venues and resources for in‑person and virtual meetings, ensuring technology, materials and setups are ready in advance.
• Finance and administrative processing - manages purchase orders, invoices, expense claims and other routine administrative workflows accurately and promptly.
• Organisation-wide support - provides flexible, ad‑hoc support across the organisation as directed by the Head of the CEO Office or Governance Manager.
• Cover for the CEO’s EA - provides planned cover for the CEO’s Executive Assistant during their leave or regular non‑working day (every Friday), ensuring continuity of support.

Engagement and events:

• Execute a successful series of annual alumni and parents of alumni events locally and in the US, ensuring robust attendance, and driving successful event-based fundraisers when applicable

Communications:

• Execute alumni communications in coordination with the Director of Development and the Communications team

• Write, design, and publish a monthly alumni newsletter, London Calling

• Research, meet, and conduct interviews with alumni of note in order to write monthly in-depth feature stories in London Calling

• Serve as lead on alumni networking software (ASLConnects, a Graduway site)

• Develop alumni content for ASL social media and online alumni platforms.

• Partner with the Giving Manager to drive success and class engagement during Grade 12 class gift campaign drive each year

• Monitor and provide updates for alumni web pages 

• Assist with copywriting for alumni fundraising around the Annual Fund and other fundraising initiatives as requested by the Director of Development

• Work with the Web Editor to ensure that alumni pages of ASL website are up-to-date, relevant, and compelling

Additional responsibilities:

• Design and occasionally send mass broadcast emails and invitations related to alumni and/or parents of alumni, in coordination with the Director of Development

• In partnership with the Communications team, build monthly London Calling features on ASL (a Finalsite website), including news stories, in memoriam notes, and class notes

• Handle daily alumni inbox communications, including processing web login and alumni portal access requests

• Manage the Eagle mascot volunteers, and select student-facing events 

• Photograph alumni and parents of alumni groups and events

• As requested, provide occasional copywriting and copy editing support to the rest of the Development team, including non–alumni specific projects

• Perform any other duties within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the job, including occasional weekend and evening hours for event coverage

• A proven track record of event planning experience with high attention to detail, time management, budget oversight, specific management knowledge of AV and decor, and handling multiple event projects simultaneously

About the Role

We are looking to recruit a permanent Finance Manager to join our busy finance team, working 30-37 hours per week, minimum 30 hours, ideally over a minimum of 4 days, starting salary £31,634 per annum (pro rata).

As Finance Manager, you will:-

· Provide day-to-day operational leadership of the finance team, including supervision, workload coordination, ongoing  staff development and continuous improvement of processes and procedures.

· Act as the main link between the Finance Director and the Finance Team, translating strategic direction into clear, effective delivery.

· Lead month-end processes including the preparation of accurate management accounts, maintaining strong balance sheet control and exercising sound judgement on complex financial issues.

· Oversee income, credit control, cashflow, short-term forecasting and the administration of the finance system, ensuring data integrity, high-quality management information and appropriate escalation of risks or pressures.

· Support audit preparation and liaise with external auditors as required.

· Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to support financial understanding, compliance and the effective resolution of issues.

· Act as the first point of escalation for operational finance issues, escalating to the Finance Director as appropriate.

About You

We need you to bring:

·AAT Level 4 Qualification or significant equivalent finance experience, with responsibility for management accounts, reconciliations and income monitoring.

· Experience coordinating month-end processes and working across multiple income streams, contracts or funding arrangements.

· Strong analytical skills and sound professional judgement, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues and identify financial and organisational risk and escalate issues appropriately.

· Experience supervising or supporting others within a finance setting, with a collaborative leadership style and a commitment to continuous improvement.

· Confidence using financial systems and Microsoft Excel at an intermediate to advanced level, alongside a methodical, organised approach to prioritising work.

The following attributes are also desirable:-

The Programmes and Projects Executive will play a key role in supporting our community of primary and secondary schools throughout the school year. You will help design and deliver Bite Back in Schools, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for young people, their teachers and their schools — and making sure the programme achieves meaningful impact.

Alongside day-to-day programme delivery, you will contribute a range of projects across the organisation, including supporting an exciting new collaboration with other school food charity partners and helping to coordinate and support wider organisational initiatives.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working with young people, is proactive and adaptable, and is ready to learn and grow at a leading youth-led health charity. You’ll be motivated by helping young people turn their ideas into action and seeing the difference that makes in schools and beyond.

The Programmes and Projects Executive will join a friendly and ambitious Programmes team to support schools and local authorities to deliver high-quality programmes and maximise impact, making canteens and high streets healthier, happier places.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Relationship management 

• Provide ongoing support to both primary and secondary schools throughout their time on the programme, building strong working relationships with participating schools. 

• Support communication with all primary schools, providing a point of contact for the coordinator and lead teacher in each school. 

• Support monitoring and evaluation through creation of surveys, ensuring completion of baseline and end of year surveys, and analysis of data submitted (working with our Impact & Evaluation Manager).

• Provide timely responses to school queries and alert the Programmes Manager of any potential risks.

• Proactively seek feedback from teachers and young people on our programmes.

• Ensure opportunities for schools to engage in at least two one-on-one meetings with our team during the school year. 

• Build productive relationships with programme partners, including Chefs in Schools and School Food Matters. 

Community management 

• Celebrate and share examples of best practice and impactful social action projects amongst our community of schools. 

• Deliver training and webinars for schools.

• Grow our movement - supporting the recruitment of future cohorts by promoting the Bite Back in Schools programme, distributing recruitment comms, holding set up calls with interested schools, and guiding schools through the application and enrolment process, working closely with the Programmes Manager on the design of these processes.

Programme delivery 

• Schedule and organise visits to schools, agreeing agendas with the schools in advance to include elements including meeting pupils and teachers, leading feedback sessions and focus groups and supporting the development of their social action campaigns. 

• Schedule and deliver assemblies with primary and secondary schools partaking in the programme.

• Ensure schools submit invoices on time as part of their grant funding, providing support where needed and coordinating with the finance team to ensure prompt processing.

• Book and arrange assemblies, coordinating between schools and our Bite Back Ambassadors.

• Support the School Ambassadors with travel logistics as they deliver assemblies in schools across England and Scotland.

• Maintain and regularly update programme management software and associated data to ensure accurate and up to date information for all participating primary schools.

• Ensure successful end-to-end support for the 10+ primary schools participating in the programme throughout the next school year.

Project support 

• Provide support to Programme Manager in the delivery of projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and scope.

• Coordinate our relationship with our partners in The School Food Project, including Chefs in Schools, School Food Matters, Food Foundation & Jamie Oliver’s Group.

• Support the national rollout of the Bite Back in Schools Primary programme by contributing to the design, development, and refinement of engaging, age-appropriate resources for primary settings, building on insights and proven impact from two successful pilot programmes.

• Assist with the organisation and delivery of Bite Back events throughout the year, including travelling as needed to support the Youth teams' operational requirements. 

• Provide ad hoc input to evolving organisational requirements as directed by senior team members.

The Combined Cadet Force Association (CCFA) is a charity dedicated to the promotion of the ideals and activities of the Combined Cadet Force in schools. We are currently seeking a cook to join Queen Crescent Community Association's Youth Services team in preparing delicious meals in our youth centre kitchen during school holiday times. We offer free, hot, healthy meals to the young people who attend our holiday programmes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for planning and cooking healthy and delicious meals that young people will appreciate, and an overall belief in the importance of youth work to support the wellbeing of disadvantaged young people.

Your duties and reponsibilities will be:

• Oversee all kitchen operations during shifts
• Plan a variety of recipes that young people will enjoy and that will support a healthy lifestyle for them
• Prepare a variety of meals according to food safety standards
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with all young people
• Meet young people’s individual dietary needs upon request
• Ensure effective safeguarding of young people during all cooking processes
• Undertake relevant administrative duties including monitoring and evaluation of the service and recording outcomes

The right person will have: 

• Have or be working to a L2 Food Hygiene accreditation 
• Minimum 1 years experience working in a kitchen 
• Knowledge of various cooking methods and procedures 
• Able to work on initiative 
• Be punctual and reliable

• An ability to engage and develop relationships with young people

The Faith and Public Life Department is responsible for the national-level engagement of the Church of England with public policy, ethics and political life, relations with other churches and faith communities and theological support for the Church's concerns. The team is formally responsible to the Archbishops' Council (i.e. to the national Church as an institution) and also gives direct support to the ministries of the Archbishops of Canterbury and York, and to those of the 26 bishops who sit in the House of Lords.

It is a broad remit, which reflects the breadth of the Church's mission and relationships across the whole country; and the way the Department operates needs to reflect the breadth of the Church also. The Department manages a number of projects which enhance the Church of England's ability to drive social change - current projects include: a Social Impact Investment programme, the support of disabled people in the church; and helping support dioceses and parishes to develop land for housing. The sub-teams who lead on the above work are supported by a dedicated administration and support team.

As the Director, your role will be to ensure that the team's work serves the Church's mission, and to give strategic leadership to a diverse team of highly skilled and experienced staff, liaising closely with the Church's governance structures (e.g. the Archbishops' Council and relevant committees, the Archbishops and other bishops) and other departments of the National Church Institutions. The Department has come together from different backgrounds over the last four years, you will continue the work of building the team carrying on the work of the late Dr Richard Sudworth, who sadly died in December 2025.

You will not be expected to be an expert in every aspect of the Department's work but will bring depth and wisdom to back up the expertise of your staff team. A good grounding in public and/or political theology and understanding of civil society would be a helpful background to supporting the most fast-moving areas of the team's work. You will have scope to take the lead in aspects of the work within FPL's remit, especially where you bring specific experience and expertise.

You will be a full member of the Archbishops' Council's Senior Management Group (SMG) and the Archbishop of Canterbury's Senior Advisory Group. You will report to the Secretary General and will line manage the lead staff of the various FPL sub teams.

You will play a part in reflecting upon and shaping wider policy across the Church, introducing learning and perspectives from the FPL team and ensuring that the FPL team has an appropriate understanding of the wider Church context of its work.

The FPL team is based in Lambeth Palace, but team members may be required to work at times at Church House, Westminster and other locations. The Director could be based at Lambeth Palace, or at Bishopthorpe Palace near York. You will be required to attend meetings in various parts of the country, such as the General Synod (in London and York), the House and College of Bishops and the Archbishops' Council which meet at a variety of locations, and to be visible in dioceses from time to time. The Director will need to work mostly alongside the team and those it supports, though a degree of home working and remote working is possible. The emphasis is on flexibility and working collaboratively with others.

Job Title: Dual Diagnosis Worker

Location: Based within a residential service across 4 sites in Croydon. (Walking distance from East Croydon train and tram links). Unfortunately this service does not have step free access.

Salary: £32,000

Shift Pattern: 12 month fixed term contract, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Sunday working between 10:00 - 18:00. Hours may vary depending on service needs. 

About the Role

We’re looking for a Dual Diagnosis Worker with expertise in mental health and substance use to join our team in Croydon. Based in a residential service, you’ll support residents with mental health, complex needs, and dual diagnosis. In this role, you’ll use your specialist knowledge to help both residents and the wider team overcome personal challenges. 

You’ll use evidence-based approaches to support recovery, independence, and integration through holistic assessments. As a comorbidity specialist, you’ll guide the team in achieving positive outcomes for residents. Your main duties include:

• Undertake joint holistic assessments, risk assessments, care plans, and interventions to support harm reduction and minimisation.
• Set up realistic and flexible strengths-based support plans, working closely with colleagues and support teams to support and advise on interventions and approaches to meet individual needs.
• Help reduce episodes of crisis and assist residents/participants to access services which can offer alternatives to crisis support.
• Work closely with support staff and clinical teams to support and advise them on interventions and approaches to meet resident/participant comorbid, complex mental health and substance misuse needs.
• Support multi-disciplinary teams and the wider community teams with support, advice, signposting, and move on care planning. 

About You

We are looking for someone who has specialist knowledge on how to support individuals with comorbid and complex needs, with experience in interventions, and in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have practical experience and relevant qualifications, and be skilled in engaging reluctant individuals. You must be resilient, proactive, and a strong problem solver to build the trusting relationships essential for this role.
