Job Title: Test and Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer - Web Applications

 

About You:
You would be working within the Cadet Digital Services framework, ensuring the UK’s Cadet Forces MIS and associated web apps are maintained to an exceptional standard. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Test and Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our Agile Delivery team. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive manual testing of web applications to ensure functionality, usability, and performance.
• Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Playwright, Cypress or Selenium Web Driver.
• Collaborate closely with the development and project teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring Agile and SCRUM methodologies are followed.
• Utilise test management and bug tracking tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA to document test cases, track defects, and manage testing processes.
• Work closely with developers to ensure the seamless integration and architecture of web applications using technologies like HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Analyse test results, identify problems, and work with developers to seek solutions to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
• Leverage knowledge of Oracle Application Express (APEX) in testing and troubleshooting web applications.
• Work in an Agile environment with a key role in all ceremonies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in manual testing of web applications.
• Strong practical knowledge of MS365 applications.
• Strong background in creating and running automated testing scripts (experience with Cypress or similar is highly preferred).
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile, and SCRUM methodologies.
• Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Azure DevOps or JIRA).
• Knowledge of core web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and web application architecture.

Working within our Change and Innovation team, you’ll play a key role in bringing together data, feedback and relational insight from across the organisation and our partners. The role ensures that young people are welcomed, discipled and supported as they grow in faith and connection to the church community. The Youth Pastor will be responsible for developing a
culture of belonging, spiritual growth and mission among the youth, equipping young people and volunteers for effective ministry.

A core part of this vision is our ministry and mission with young people. Having held high value on children and young people’s work for decades, we are currently placed 13th nationally in the Church of England’s figures for weekly attendance of 0s-18s. We sense God is doing new thing here as part of a vision to see all ages come to vibrant faith and grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.

The role
Drive is a high risk / high harm domestic abuse perpetration intervention. Its sole aim is to reduce the risk posed by those using high levels of harm towards family members and / or (ex) partners. This is achieved via disruption, diversion and direct behaviour change work, where safe to do so, within a multi-agency framework.

The Team Leader will manage a small team of Case Managers and a reduced caseload.  You will assist the Service Manager in managing the Drive service to ensure high standards of practice in service delivery. You will provide leadership to the team and contribute to the development of the service. You will manage your own reduced caseload  working one-to-one with perpetrators who have been identified as high risk to pro-actively secure engagement, influence attitudinal and behavioural change and connect with complementary services. To do this, you will work with local agencies to design a co-ordinated, strategic individual intervention plan to address identified needs and risks and promote understanding of the impact of abusive behaviours. However, it may not always be safe or possible to meet with the perpetrator. Equally as vital to risk reduction efforts is analysis of presenting information to identify ways to disrupt their abusive behaviour, alongside closeknit multiagency working to implement actions.

Throughout all intervention the Drive Team Leader will work closely with the local IDVA service to review risk, develop safety plans and improve outcomes for all parties involved.

About you

You’ll have a deep understanding of the nature of domestic abuse and its effects on clients and children, as well as the reasons behind abusive behaviours towards intimate partners.

Your knowledge extends to the range of statutory and voluntary agencies that clients and their children may encounter, and you are aware of the impact of domestic abuse on children and parenting, including the additional needs of clients from BMER communities.

You will have experience in working with clients on issues of domestic abuse, managing your own workload and administration, and assessing the risk and safety of your clients and those connected to your client.  You will have handled safeguarding disclosures and referrals, and you communicate clearly with a range of people both over the telephone and in person.

You will be organised, able to use your initiative, and work effectively as part of a multi-service team. Your administrative skills are strong, and you are adept at using a computer to maintain effective systems.

Flexible and able to travel independently. Additionally, you will understand trauma-informed practices, risk mitigation, and safeguarding. Experience liaising with social workers and other professionals, and in related areas such as substance misuse, child protection, or family support, is desirable.

The role As Interim Senior Admin Officer, you will play a central role in ensuring the organisation runs smoothly, safely and compliantly. You will take stock of existing systems, put clear processes in place and provide practical support to staff and trustees during a period of onboarding and recruitment.

You will also work closely with the Admin Officer and Receptionist, offering day-to-day guidance, support and coaching to help them deliver to a high standard.

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you'll play a central role in shaping, operating and maintaining our predominantly Microsoft cloud environment — keeping it strong, secure and ready for what comes next. Reporting to the Infrastructure Services Manager, you'll support, maintain and enhance our enterprise infrastructure across Azure cloud, Microsoft 365, identity, endpoint, network and core platform services.

You'll lead on complex incidents, drive root-cause analysis, and bring the kind of calm, expert thinking that keeps services running and colleagues confident. This is a hands-on, cloud-first role with real scope to influence how we design, govern and optimise cloud services and our infrastructure for the long term.

This role would particularly suit someone who has moved beyond traditional, on-prem infrastructure into operational Azure and Microsoft 365 engineering and is confident owning cloud platforms end to end.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

About you:

You're an experienced infrastructure professional who brings both depth of technical knowledge and the mindset of a trusted colleague. You understand that the work you do has real consequences for real people, and that motivates you to get things right. You're equally comfortable diving into a complex incident at pace and stepping back to think about how we build more resilient, secure and cost-effective cloud services over time.

You take security seriously, communicate with clarity across technical and non-technical audiences, and you thrive in environments where collaboration and accountability go hand in hand. You're someone who keeps learning, shares what you know, and makes the team around you better.

You'll have:

- Proven, demonstrable experience in Microsoft cloud technologies, including in-depth hands-on Azure experience (cloud platforms, virtual compute, storage, networking and the governance principles that keep it all accountable).
- Experience administering and optimising Microsoft 365 services, including identity, security and collaboration tooling.
- A grounding in enterprise infrastructure — servers, directory services, hybrid identity — and the hands-on experience to back it up.
- Experience managing and supporting Disaster Recovery services to address continuity of vital business functions.
- A security-first mindset, with practical knowledge of MFA, conditional access, privileged access management and vulnerability remediation.
- Proven networking foundations across WAN, VPN, firewalling and secure remote access.
- The discipline to work within ITSM frameworks and the rigour to maintain accurate configuration and asset data.
- Experience working alongside a Managed Service Provider as part of an augmented team, including managing service quality and accountability.
- A track record of producing documentation that works for diverse audiences — runbooks, procedures, service improvement write-ups.
- Genuine curiosity about the infrastructure landscape and a commitment to staying sharp as it evolves.

- Owning, evolving and maintaining our hybrid (predominantly Microsoft cloud platform) infrastructure — secure, stable and performing, day in, day out, and under pressure when it counts.
- Owning complex incidents from first response through to root-cause analysis and lasting fixes.
- Working shoulder-to-shoulder with our Security team to embed good practice across everything we build and run.
- Helping us get more from what we have — through cost optimisation, service rationalisation and smarter configuration.

Overview of the Role:  We are recruiting a South East Senior Programme Officer for the National Education Nature Park to:

· Lead the National Education Nature Park programme across South East England, increasing participation in schools and education settings

The Woodland Trust is looking for a Designer to design visuals and engaging communications to  help the organisation communicate to a range of audiences across a variety of platforms.

The Role:

• Communicate key missions and projects to a large audience using digital channels and print.
• Take briefs and work with clients to design and develop visuals and media in line with their requirements and deadlines.
• Responsible for client liaison and ensuring an up-to-date online workflow system using Monday.
• Manage a variety of your own multi-channel projects, working directly with other colleagues to support the needs of the projects.

• Responsible for creating and managing effective partnerships with external agencies across print, mail and digital media.
• This is a hybrid position with a mix of home working, and from our head office in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Head office attendance would be required no more than twice a month on average.
• This is a maternity cover contract until the end of April 2027, working 22.5 hours per week.

The Candidate:

• Experience in using Adobe Creative Cloud to develop creative ideas from the briefs provided and in designing visuals for social media platforms.
• Knowledge of on and offline channels and how best to navigate these to get the best outcomes.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with clients to understand briefs and create ideas and material to be used throughout the organisation.
• Strong time management skills, you’ll be able to complete work to agreed deadlines with clients and colleagues
• Knowledge of the creative design process, art working process and creating print ready files from your design work.
• Educated to a degree level, preferably in a role related area.
• Experience managing multiple workstreams and projects whilst maintaining the quality of your work.

About the role

The Research and Projects Assistant is a new role supporting EFN’s strategic projects and research, and would suit someone looking to build their experience in these areas. The post-holder will play a key role in helping to deliver projects and research that aim to improve how environmental funding is coordinated and distributed.

The role will involve supporting a range of projects across research, grantmaking practices, and digital tools/platforms. The exact mix of work will evolve over time, but is likely to include contributing to major research outputs (including EFN’s Where the Green Grants Went series), supporting the development of sector tools, and assisting with collaborative funding initiatives.

About you

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with data and information, thinking creatively, and ensuring that high-quality projects are delivered efficiently. We’re looking for individuals who are highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive, with experience in research and a strong interest in environmental issues and/or philanthropy. This role involves supporting a range of projects, so being able to keep track of tasks and information will be important.

We recognise that candidates may not meet every requirement listed, and we welcome transferable skills and varied career paths.
