Programme Coordinator
The Race Equality Foundation has been awarded a transformative multi-year grant from The National Lottery Community Fund (TNLCF) as part of its Health Inequities: Structural Racism and Discrimination Partnership. The programme will establish three Anti-Racism Collaboratives (ARCs), each bringing together voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations, people with lived experience, health and care organisations, local authorities and other partners to tackle the structural causes of ethnic health inequities through co-production, evidence and collective action.
As Programme Coordinator, you will play a central role in enabling the successful delivery of this ambitious programme. Working closely with the Lead Changemaker, Changemakers and colleagues across the Foundation, you will ensure the programme has the systems, coordination and administrative support needed to deliver high-quality partnership working and meaningful co-production across the three ARCs.
This is a varied role requiring excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. You will coordinate meetings and events, maintain programme systems and records, support communications, and ensure partners and community members are well supported to participate in programme activities. By enabling the smooth day-to-day operation of the programme, you will help create the conditions for partners and communities to work together to tackle structural racism and reduce health inequities.

At least 12 months' experience in programme or project coordination, administration or a similar role.

Overall purpose
The middle school science teacher is responsible for delivering a science curriculum to middle school students in an engaging, stimulating and effective manner, using varied instructional strategies. As an Independent Victim Advocate you will be ensuring the provision of individual structured, tailored support plans, based on a holistic assessment of impact and risk, within the framework of VS's Service Model. AAFDA was founded by Frank Mullane in memory of his sister Julia Pemberton and her son Will who were both killed by her ex-partner in 2003.
Each year, around 150 families lose a loved one to domestic homicide. The actual number of suicides as a result of domestic abuse remains unknown. Most of these families suffer significant problems including relationship breakdown, job difficulties/loss and mental and physical health issues. We help these families in many ways, our prime function being to provide families in England, Wales and Northern Ireland with specialist peer support and expert and specialist advocacy for the range of statutory reviews that will take place after domestic homicide.
AAFDA (Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse) is a growing Charity and to meet the demands we are looking for a specialist Advocate for Scotland. Although home based, some travel will be required - frequency will be commensurate to the role. We welcome applications from candidates with experience of domestic abuse. Our Specialist Advocates support families impacted by fatal domestic abuse through provision of lay advocacy, for and on behalf of, families with a range of statutory service providers (e.g. those conducting reviews and inquiries, social services, police, housing) and work to build good relations between all parties. To ensure that families get the support they need, you will use AAFDA’s Home Office endorsed seven-step approach to working with individuals and families, to ensure that they receive the best possible support and advocacy to restore dignity and relief for families and to help them cope and recover. Through trauma-informed approaches, you will:
· Listen to families and advocate for them in a complex system that too often treats them as passive participants and overlooks the value of their insight.
· Provide information, support, guidance, advice and advocacy on Domestic Homicide & Suicide Reviews (DHSR’s) and other reviews where relevant and appropriate.
· Manage families’ expectations of the legal and procedural processes facing them by supporting families in meetings with agencies such as health, police and local authorities.
· Give families practical help on a wide range of issues - including help with letter writing or advocating with employers and local authorities on the families’ behalf.
· Support AAFDA in our bringing families together in AAFDA’s peer support events, such as the Hear Our Voice weekend and the on-line peer support Zoom sessions, where families can speak with others to share their experiences and stories. This will involve occasional evening work.

We are now seeking an ambitious, strategic and relationship-focused Fundraising Manager to establish and lead our fundraising function.
The Opportunity
This is a newly created senior role offering the opportunity to shape the future of fundraising at ISH.
Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Board of Trustees and senior leadership team, you will develop and deliver a comprehensive fundraising strategy that grows philanthropic income and builds sustainable funding streams.
You'll lead on developing relationships with trusts and foundations, major donors, alumni, corporate partners and international supporters while creating compelling fundraising campaigns that inspire long-term engagement.

Key Responsibilities
As Fundraising Manager, you will:
Develop and implement a 3–5 year fundraising strategy aligned with ISH's strategic objectives.
Build a diverse fundraising portfolio across trusts and foundations, major donors, corporate partnerships, alumni, community fundraising and international philanthropy.
Identify, cultivate and steward major donors and strategic partners.
Lead the development of compelling funding applications and grant proposals.
Secure significant income from trusts, foundations, government bodies and corporate sponsors.
Develop donor stewardship and recognition programmes that encourage long-term support.
Work collaboratively with Marketing, Alumni Relations, Events and CRM colleagues to deliver integrated fundraising campaigns.
Establish fundraising KPIs, monitor performance and report regularly to the CEO, Senior Management Team and Board of Trustees.
Manage and develop the Fundraising Assistant while fostering a collaborative fundraising culture across the organisation.
Ensure all fundraising activity complies with charity law, the Code of Fundraising Practice and data protection legislation.
About You
You will be a motivated fundraising professional with a proven track record of securing significant philanthropic income and developing successful fundraising strategies.
You'll bring:

Significant experience in fundraising, philanthropy or income generation.
Demonstrable success securing funding from trusts and foundations, major donors and/or corporate partners.
Experience developing and delivering fundraising strategies.
Outstanding relationship management and networking skills.
Excellent proposal and bid-writing abilities.
Strong financial awareness and project management skills.
Experience using CRM systems and analysing fundraising performance.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable
Experience within the charity, higher education or international education sectors.
Alumni fundraising experience.
Knowledge of UK trust and foundation fundraising.
Experience securing international philanthropic funding, particularly in North America.
Membership of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising or equivalent.
Fundraising qualification or professional accreditation.

nia has been delivering services to women, girls and children who have been subjected to sexual and domestic violence and abuse, including prostitution, since 1975. The organisation has three main aims: to provide services for women, girls and children who have experienced men’s violence; contributing to ending male violence against women and girls, and to inform and influence policy and public awareness.
East London Rape Crisis provides free, confidential specialist support for women and girls who have been raped or experienced any other form of sexual violence or abuse at any time in their lives, regardless of whether or not they have reported to the police. About the Role
The ISVA provides proactive support and advocacy to female survivors of sexual violence who are engaging with the criminal justice system. You will work as part of a growing feminist Rape Crisis service that is developing to meet the needs of women and girls. This post requires travel across East London, and a hybrid model of home, outreach and office working.
