Prospectus are excited to be working exclusively with our client to help them recruit for an interim Head of Fundraising to join their team. The organisation is a charity founded in 2018 by families bereaved by gambling-related suicide. They operate the UK's only specialist support service for people affected by gambling-related suicide. Their work prevents gambling-related harm for those who gamble and prevents those impacted by a gambling-related suicide from suffering additional harm.

This role is offered on a flexible 6-month contract basis paying a salary between £55,000 to £60,000 per annum pro rata with remote working arrangements and occasional staff meetings.

The Head of Fundraising is responsible for developing and delivering the fundraising strategy to support the charity’s work across its programme areas, including the family support, research, and prevention. They will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer and colleagues across the organisation to deliver a multi-income stream plan. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with funders to promote ongoing support. Critically, the post holder will be responsible for developing fundraising propositions in response to the new statutory levy on gambling operators and ensuring the long-term sustainability of the charity’s funding pipeline.

They are looking for someone with demonstrable experience in a leadership level fundraising role delivering a transformational strategic plan. They are looking for a candidate with a demonstrable track record of raising funds from multiple income streams, including trusts, foundations, government and public bodies, and other funding bodies. They are looking for someone with demonstrable experience of growing and developing an organisation’s fundraising and income generation capability. ABOUT THE ROLE

Working with schools, sixth forms and further education colleges, the Head of Education and Content will support them to prepare for the lowering of the voting age to 16 and to engage their students in elections and democratic education.

The post holder will design and adapt resources, practitioner training, events and activities as well as manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders across the further education and civil society sectors.

Working with the Director and the Head of Programmes, the post holder will:

• Collate, source and design learning resources for school and college teachers to use to support their students to engage in elections and democracy.

• Support, build and manage relationships with schools and colleges.

• Provide teachers and practitioners with training and e-learning around election and democratic education.

• Oversee evaluation and monitoring, producing reports where required. 

The job is based on a 16-month contract, with likely extension (including a 6-month probation period). 

The Politics Project is based in London, and the post holder will be expected to work from the office at least two days a week. The hours of work are 37.5 hrs per week. Occasional travel to elsewhere in the UK and working unsocial hours in evenings and at weekends may be required. This is a fast-paced role in a small but growing team.

· A track record of securing five-figure grants or more from trusts, foundations and other donors;

· Knowledge of the fundraising landscape in the UK;

· Excellent communications skills, verbal and written, for a range of audiences, including creative storytelling and project framing;

· Ability to analyse and synthesise research and data into compelling reports and funding applications;

· Ability to develop full cost recovery budgets and carry out all compliant financial reporting;

· Ability to carry out all grant management reporting accurately and in a timely manner, with knowledge of GDPR-compliant data management;

Further information

Hours: 14 hours per week (through an annualised hours working pattern).

Location: Remote working although the successful candidate will be expected to work from Cumberland Lodge a minimum of one day per month.  Applicants should be aware that Cumberland Lodge is not easily accessible by public transport, so alternative forms of transport (bicycle, car) are helpful.

Annual leave: 33 days including Bank Holidays which will be pro-rata. The charity is closed over the Christmas period which will be deducted from the leave allocation.

We are delighted to be working in partnership with a much loved national Charity to recruit them a Relationship Manager to cover the South Coast - Kent, Southampton, Dorset, Hampshire and Sussex.

About the role

You will be joining a friendly and face paced fundraising team to identify, support and retain regional supporters. You will be responsible for;

* Driving engagement across your region (and beyond) to proactively identify, support, and retain supporters.

* Working with the wider Regional Fundraising Team and collaborate on relationships that might be across the UK

*You'll be generating a strong network of community and corporate supporters to secure sustainable income for the charity. You'll also be building a pipeline of prospects of community and corporate to ensure future support.

About you

To be successful in this role you must have

*Demonstrable knowledge of what it takes to proactively identify, develop, and cultivate supporters to maximise income and deliver against KPIs, objectives and the Community Team business plan.

*A good knowledge of the fundraising landscape and opportunities in the UK
*Experience of building and account managing/stewarding a personal portfolio of high value supporters & corporate partners, volunteers and in aid of events to achieve your financial target.

We are looking to recruit a Finance Manager to join our team based in London. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of circa £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience).

The Royal Air Force Museum is looking for a proactive Finance Manager to support both the Museum and its Trading Company (RAFMEL) during an exciting period of growth and transformation.

The Royal Air Force Museum is a Carbon Literate organisation and as such promotes Carbon Literacy.

About the Role:

As part of a small and dedicated finance team, you will take on a broad and varied portfolio. This includes full responsibility for financial and management reporting for RAF Museum Enterprises Limited (RAFMEL), and supporting the Head of Finance with reporting and analysis across the wider Museum.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead all financial and management reporting activities for RAFMEL
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
• Monitor, maintain, and improve internal financial controls
• Collaborate with non-finance teams across the Museum to ensure accurate and timely financial data
• Support the implementation of process improvements and new financial initiatives
• Provide insight and clarity through accurate, first-time reporting

About You:

• A qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong technical skills
• Highly proficient in Excel; experience with Sage 200 is a strong advantage
• Comfortable working independently, while also being a collaborative team player
• A confident communicator able to build relationships across departments
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and proactive in problem-solving

We're looking for a confident and capable individual, with bags of energy and a sense of fun to join our team and lead our online reading projects. You will coordinate your volunteers to deliver reading sessions via Zoom three times a week to children up to the age of 12 . You will be responsible for coordinating volunteers and families across all projects, being ‘on call’ for any issues that may arise, and stepping in to reading sessions where needed. You will provide support for volunteers within and outside of the sessions as well as responding to needs of the families.

Full training will be given.

Working as part of the Project Team, you’ll support strategic and hands-on efforts to bring our reading programme to those who need it most. From planning outreach campaigns to developing community partnerships and responding to enquiries, your work will ensure more children can benefit from regular reading sessions with our volunteers.

This is a new part-time role, with a hybrid working pattern and occasional evening or weekend commitments, ideal for someone with experience in outreach, community engagement, or family support services.
