We are looking for someone to join St Mungo’s as Assistant Director of Client Experience. This new post brings together a range of services that deliver added value to our service offer for clients.

From leading the work on client involvement, to developing and delivering learning, training and employment interventions, to providing advice and improving our practice on welfare rights and complex health and wellbeing needs, this role is central to delivering our work to support clients to rebuild their lives.

As Assistant Director of Client Experience, you will work closely with client services and fundraising colleagues, bringing these areas together to ensure we deliver compelling services that enhance our client experience, attract funders, and clearly demonstrate their impact and value.

You will embed a culture of collaboration, strengthening partnerships with different organisations so that, across the system, we work towards providing the services our clients need and that achieve the greatest impact.

In this role you will:

• Oversee client involvement, resident engagement and lived experience apprenticeship schemes.
• Lead the coordination of our volunteers and the assessment of social work student placements.
• Oversee services offering clients learning, training and employment support.
• Lead work that supports clients and colleagues to navigate the welfare system, and to manage complex needs such as health, substance use, palliative care and bereavement.
• Focus on increasing our innovation, testing and learning from different interventions.

About you

We are looking for an experienced operational leader with a background in leading teams delivering services to groups of vulnerable adult clients. You will bring a passion for client involvement and a track record of developing, innovating and strengthening service offers and bringing teams together.

Your leadership will be committed, empowering, accountable, creative and inclusive. You will be an excellent problem solver with strong communication and influencing skills, able to engage colleagues at all levels and build effective partnerships across the sector. You will also have experience of managing budgets and using complex data to inform decisions and improve performance.

Flexible working

This post is offered on a full time basis (37.5 hours per week), or part time hours can be considered (minimum 22.5 hours per week). We are open to discussions about different working patterns, for example condensed hours.

We support flexible and agile working. This role is London-based, with an expectation of working from our Central Office or one of our services at least 2 days per week to support collaboration, leadership, training and relationship-building. Due to the nature of the role, you will also work across different London and regional services and be expected to spend a significant part of your time our engaging with colleagues and clients in our services.

Our Central Office is currently located in Tower Hill, with a plan to relocate to a new space in Farringdon in summer 2026.

About the role

The role will play a critical role to help deliver an effective and high performing rent collection and recovery service in accordance with legislation, the organisation’s policies, set performance targets and customer satisfaction requirements. In collaboration with the Resident Services Manager to ensure that the organisation is compliant with all regulations and using robust policy and procedures and ensuring the right systems are in place to effectively manage the revenue and income streams and arrears of the organisation. This role will also manage the impact of welfare reform provisions, ensuring an effective advice and support service to residents to manage risk on revenue and income levels.

Responsibilities

• The role also oversees the best payment methods for all residents at sign up and this includes the setting up of standing orders or direct debits in line with the direct debit guarantee where applicable. To liaise with the Assistant Accountant who will oversee the administration of this.

• Production of performance and management reports, setting collection targets in consultation with the Resident Services Manager and proactively monitoring and reporting in respect of service delivery, performance indicators and targets.

• Maximise the collection of arrears by having regular meetings with the Team Managers; being proactive in contacting Support Workers or residents, providing them with clear instructions on information requests and repayment options.

• To work closely with other members of the Revenue team to manage resident rent and accommodation charge accounts and other former resident debts, on a regular basis identifying trends and patterns on individual accounts and then liaise with Support Workers or residents to rectify income issues and address arrears in line with policies and procedures.

• To maximise rent collection in line with targets by making arrangements to recover rent arrears and to enforce related tenancy conditions, ensuring residents’ rent accounts are monitored and prompt actions taken to prevent the accumulation of debt, and to authorise any rent account adjustments and refunds.

• Work closely with the Assistant Accountant to ensure that all residents Personal Contributions (PC) and Housing Benefit (HB) are calculated correctly on sign up and when there has been a change of circumstance

The Training & Events Officer is responsible for delivering comprehensive administrative support for training programmes and events at the bpf. The role encompasses coordinating the entire trainee journey—from application and onboarding to evaluations and reporting—ensuring efficient, compliant, and learner-focused processes. Duties include coordinating with managers and staff, handling programme administration, applicant and trainee communications, maintaining records, overseeing selection, and supporting event delivery. About the Role

The Campaigner will support the development and delivery of campaigns that drive positive change within food systems. This role is ideal for someone early in their campaigning career who is passionate about influencing decision‑makers, mobilising public support, and helping deliver strategic impact across a variety of issues within food systems from dismantling industrial farming to delegitimising large corporations like large supermarket chains. Purpose of the Job

Commercial Manager will identify, develop and manage top food partners relationships and strengthen existing business relationships with companies in the food industry, generating value for the partner and to secure growing and sustainable volumes of surplus food for the FareShare Network. For designated top food partners, you will be their day-to-day point of contact with regular face to face contact at all levels.

You will undertake structured, strategic account management, leading and coordinating FareShare’s engagement across our organisation. This will mean agreeing and executing a bespoke joint business plan with each account to get more food, money and strategic support. You will also feedback on ways that we can better support our accounts and improve our services to them. You will work directly and be on-site with top food partners to help identify and overcome the barriers which exist to giving surplus food to people in need as well as increasing money and strategic resource.

You will also be required to work closely with FareShare colleagues within FareShare and across the UK in our partner organisations in order to identify and understand opportunities for creating mutual and shared value.

Duties and Responsibilities

Partnership Management

• Contribute to the development of consistent, structured Joint Business plans with

designated accounts that take into account food, funding and other strategic initiatives to drive growth in food, money and other strategic resources

Job Profile

We are looking for an Advocacy Assistant who is keen to contribute to the work of CAFOD’s advocacy work, especially our work in Parliament. You will work closely with the policy and campaigns teams in contributing to bringing about long-term change for the poorest and most marginalised. The post will be responsible for monitoring key issues in Parliament and supporting work with the CAFOD All-Party Parliamentary Group. It provides direct support to the Director of Advocacy and Communications and ensures our advocacy and development education grants programme is well administered. You will be interested in advocacy work and have had some experience in campaigns, policy or parliamentary work, maybe gained in a voluntary capacity. You’ll be very well organised, with an eye for detail and completing tasks on time.

Key Responsibilities

Providing focused and valuable administrative support

• Developing and amending online and offline systems for teams or the Group 

• Support the teams on events, activities and projects 

• Supporting and Coordinating Supporter mailings 

• Collate relevant annual reporting information including the ECOSOC reporting.

Parliamentary Monitoring 

• To track Parliamentary activity, statements, questions and circulate these to relevant stakeholders within CAFOD 

• To support organising Parliamentary events and APPG meetings 

• To work with other NGO’s and coalitions on Parliamentary activity

Grant Processing 

• To administer the advocacy and development education grants liaising with prospective and successful grantees as appropriate. 

Communications Support

• Act as a first point of contact for any external enquiries, passing on requests to others as appropriate, and ensuring that the Supporter Relations Team have up to date information 

• Supporting the campaigns and policy team’s communications, mainly internal, and where appropriate, through CAFOD’s external website, social media tools

Financial Support 

• Monitoring expenditures and budgets

Carers Centre Tower Hamlets is seeking a Carer Support Lead to deliver embedded carer support within the Barnsley Street Neighbourhood Mental Health Centre.

Barnsley Street is an innovative neighbourhood mental health pilot bringing together statutory and voluntary sector partners to deliver a more holistic and collaborative model of mental health support. The centre works with people experiencing mental health challenges and those around them, providing a welcoming community space where clinical care, peer support and community-based services operate alongside one another.

This role will ensure unpaid carers connected to individuals accessing Barnsley Street services are identified early, supported appropriately and connected to the help they need.

Unpaid carers often play a critical role in supporting people experiencing mental health challenges. This role strengthens that support by ensuring carers are recognised, informed and included wherever appropriate, helping to sustain safe caring arrangements and improve outcomes.

The postholder will provide one-to-one support, information and advocacy to carers connected to individuals accessing Barnsley Street services. They will also design and deliver carer-focused groups and help link carers into the wider support available through Carers Centre Tower Hamlets and local partners.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a strong understanding of the challenges faced by unpaid carers, particularly in mental health contexts

• Has experience providing advice, support, advocacy or casework

• Is confident working in partnership with health professionals and voluntary sector organisations

• Can work independently while remaining connected to organisational governance and reporting requirements

• Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills

My client is a leading not-for-profit organisation based in central London seeking an interim Accounts Assistant to bolster their team on a 3-month basis.

The main responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant are:

• Process supplier invoices, grants, and other expenditure, ensuring correct authorisation and accurate entry into the accounting system.
• Set up and monitor payments while maintaining accurate financial records, including bank account sweeps and daily bank reconciliations.
• Manage incoming income and donations, including producing donor receipts and resolving queries relating to unallocated income or donations from CAF.
• Support the finance team with financial controls and compliance, including checking for fraudulent payments, reviewing new direct debits, and posting journal adjustments where required.

• At least 2 years’ experience in a Finance Officer, Accounts Administrator, or similar finance role.
• Experience using NetSuite or a similar accounting system.
• Strong numerical skills with experience using Excel to manage and analyse financial data.
• Ability to learn the role quickly and hit the ground running.

Currently undergoing a significant period of refocus and transition, the Foundation is looking for an experienced Board Support Executive to offer comprehensive and wide ranging administrative and logistical support to the Board of Trustees and the leadership team. This part-time (3 or 4 days per week) role is offered on an 18 months fixed term contract with flexible hybrid working.

This will involve scheduling and minuting high level board and committee meetings, ensuring action points are accurately recorded and followed up. Able to see the bigger picture and use their initiative to provide support and effective coordination to the leadership team and trustees, this role will be crucial to oiling the works of the organisation.
