We have an exciting opportunity for a Programme Officer to join our small team. The role plays an important part in the planning and coordination of our core programmes and partnerships. You will get to work with and present to corporate partners, charities and schools, travelling across the UK to ensure projects and events are delivered smoothly and professionally.

This role will help bring partners, charities and communities together to create practical, local impact across the UK.

The Prince of Wales Hospice in Pontefract provides care for people with a life limiting illness and their loved ones - giving them comfort, dignity and personalised care. Their specialist palliative care, wellbeing support and practical help is there to support families every step of the way.

The Prince of Wales Hospice help over 1,600 local people a year. Due to limited Government funding, income from donations are vital to continue providing their services, which are entirely free of charge to patients and their families.

The Role

As Senior Relationships Fundraiser you will manage a team of 3, including a Relationships Fundraiser (Individual Gifts), Relationship Fundraiser (Trusts and Major Donors) and a Fundraising Administrator.

You will report into the Fundraising Manager and be responsible for delivering income to target, in line with the fundraising strategy.

The main duties include:

• Work with the wider Income Generation and Marketing teams to develop a fundraising strategy, continually sharing insights, leads and opportunities to promote effective growth.
• Lead the development of income from trusts and foundations, major donors, regular givers, direct mail appeals, gifts in memory and gifts in wills.
• Hold regular, supportive 1:1 meetings and bi-annual performance reviews.
• Ensure all fundraising adheres to legislation and follows best practice.

The Person

We are looking for someone with proven experience in an income generation role. You will ideally have knowledge and understanding of donor motivations and high value fundraising principles. Experience in developing donor journeys, campaigns or funding proposals would also be desirable.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are vital in this role, along with the ability to coach and lead a small team. Previous management experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

You must be experienced working to targets, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting. As Senior Relationship Fundraiser you will inform key decisions, so the ability to analyse data to is essential.

Purpose of the Role: 

Voice 21 is a rapidly growing national education charity, with a bold new strategy to 2030, and ambitious plans to double fundraised income over this strategic period. We believe there is significant potential for the corporate sector to engage with our work and support our mission to transform education. We are seeking an experienced corporate fundraiser to build our burgeoning programme, unlock exciting new opportunities for support and lead on developing new voluntary income from corporate partnerships. You will champion creative, insight-driven new business development and account management, ensuring partnerships are meaningful, mutually beneficial and aligned with our mission. • Strong commercial awareness, with ability to identify and prioritise high-value opportunities. Proactive and assertive, with the ability to recognise and act on new opportunities and the tenacity to secure meetings. 

• Experience of building a portfolio of corporate sector prospects and managing a pipeline of opportunities. Ideally with experience of using Salesforce (or another CRM system) to manage pipelines, track performance and report on outcomes.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels, negotiating and influencing to achieve successful outcomes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confident and engaging presentation abilities.

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Knowledge of fundraising legislation, ethics, compliance, and data protection requirements.

• Self-motivated, comfortable working autonomously, and able to take ownership of own performance. Comfortable in a fast-paced, iterative culture.

Who you’ll work with: Your line manager will be the Head of Fundraising and you will work alongside a fundraising officer. The fundraising team sits in the Operations Directorate.

Where you’ll work: All Voice 21 staff work remotely and this is a home-based role, with some travel expected to our London office (by Victoria station) and elsewhere for meetings. As part of the fundraising team, you’ll spend your days out in the community, speaking to members of the public and inspiring support for nature conservation.

Typical duties include:

About Bipolar UK

Bipolar UK is the only national charity dedicated to supporting people affected by bipolar — including individuals, carers, families and loved ones. Over one million people in the UK live with bipolar disorder, yet many experience symptoms for years before receiving an accurate diagnosis.

We are entering an exciting new phase following the launch of our co-produced three-year strategy (2026–2029). Over the coming years, we will reach more people than ever before, expand access to self-management support, and build understanding of bipolar across workplaces, services and communities.

 Purpose:  The Peer Support Officer role will work within Bipolar UK’s Peer Support Line team to support our community through telephone and email support across the UK.

The role involves using your skills and knowledge to support people affected by bipolar disorder with support requests and providing information and signposting to people via email and telephone. The successful applicant will also manage service reports in Salesforce, report back regularly to the management team, as well as developing links with other mental health services or appropriate agencies.

Though Bipolar UK does not offer Crisis Support, the successful applicant may have to direct members of our community experiencing a crisis to relevant services and will also be responsible for recognising and reporting Safeguarding incidents within the bounds of Bipolar UK’s Safeguarding Policies.

The position requires good personal interaction and the ability to empathise with service users while remaining calm and considered in sometimes difficult situations.  This is a varied and hands on role and we are looking for someone with good communication (verbal and written) along with good organisational skills. Bipolar UK will offer the successful applicant regular support and engagement with the team, as well as reflective practice sessions throughout their service with the charity.

The Peer Support Officer reports to the Services Manager who manages this service. This will be a home-based role with occasional travel, such as team days/meetings/training.

About the role

We’re looking for a Head of Research & Evidence to join our ambitious Research, Learning & Systems Change Team. 

Young Lives vs Cancer has a strong and growing commitment to changing the system for children and young people with cancer, and their loved ones. Our North Star vision and Time is Now Strategy focus on influencing how the wider system works – from services and policy to practice on the ground – so that families get the support they need.

The Head of Research and Evidence sits in the Research, Learning & Systems Change team, within our Innovation, Policy & Systems Change Directorate. The role is responsible for ensuring our work is grounded in strong, credible and useful evidence, and that learning is actively used to shape decisions, practice and change across the system.

This is a leadership role within a small but ambitious team. You will set direction and provide thought leadership, but you will also be hands on – designing, commissioning, managing and using research alongside colleagues and partners.

Building trusted relationships and using evidence to influence thinking and action are central. You will work with colleagues, children and young people, families, and partner organisations (such as the North Star Cancer Collective) to learn, strengthen credibility and create change.

What will I be doing?

No two days are the same at Young Lives vs Cancer. So, summarising your ‘day to day’ isn’t easy. At the UK Cyber Security Council, we’re here to connect, champion and charter the UK’s cyber security profession. Sitting within the Community & Events Team, and more broadly the Income & Engagement Department, the Community Fundraising Officer plays a vital role in supporting the long-term growth, development, and delivery of Sands’ community fundraising activities.

This is a new role at Sands, and it is an exciting time to join our growing team. This role will support acquisition activity, national campaign delivery and provide outstanding stewardship to fundraisers, community group and Sands groups, maximising their fundraising efforts and strengthening their relationship to Sands. Community Fundraising Delivery & Growth

• Working with the Community Fundraising Manager, develop and deliver a community fundraising strategy for both new and existing activities.

• Be an active member of the Community & Events Team and Income & Engagement Department, collaborating with colleagues to optimise performance across all fundraising areas.
• Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to adapt within a fast growing, evolving fundraising function.
• Take part in monthly 1:1s, annual appraisals, and personal development reviews.
• Undertake all mandatory training and abide by Sands’ organisational policies.
• Represent Sands professionally at internal and external events and meetings.

Skills & Experience

• Experience in a fundraising, events, community engagement, customer service or administrative role (charity sector experience advantageous).
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate empathetically with supporters.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
• Ability to write clear, engaging supporter communications.
• Comfortable using CRM systems, databases and digital platforms.
• Creative thinker with the ability to contribute ideas for campaigns and supporter engagement.
• A passion for supporter led fundraising and an understanding of the motivations of community fundraisers.
