Reporting to the Chair of City Bridge Foundation and the Town Clerk & Chief Executive of the City of London Corporation, you will be accountable for the overall strategic direction, leadership and management of the charity. In this role, you will work closely with elected Members acting as Trustee, provide strategic advice and ensure strong charitable governance, legal compliance and effective decision‑making. You will have overall responsibility for the stewardship, maintenance and security of the bridges, including Tower Bridge as a globally recognised visitor attraction, as well as leadership of the Foundation’s charitable funding and social investment activity.

You will lead a senior leadership team and a workforce of around 160 staff, setting a clear strategic direction and fostering a positive, inclusive and high‑performing organisational culture. As Head of Profession for Charities across the City of London Corporation, you will also promote best practice in charitable governance and funding beyond City Bridge Foundation itself.

The successful candidate will be a credible and experienced senior leader with substantial experience operating in a complex organisation and charity/non-for-profit sector or public facing body. You will bring strong knowledge of charitable governance and regulation, sound financial and commercial judgement, and the ability to build trusted relationships with Members, senior officers and external partners. A clear commitment to values‑led leadership, equity, diversity and inclusion is essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 
Individual Giving

Working closely with the Director of Development and Board, you will help secure Patrons and donor support that sustains and develops the theatre’s artistic ambitions.

This includes helping to shape and manage Production Syndicates and Giving Circles, researching and cultivating prospective donors, and confidently making funding approaches. The role involves close collaboration with artists and creative teams, connecting supporters directly with the work they are helping to bring to life. 

You will build warm, lasting relationships with Patrons, providing excellent stewardship and supporter care, including assisting with ticket bookings and donor experiences. You will also represent the Development team at key theatre events, acting as an engaging and knowledgeable ambassador for the organisation.

Events 

Working closely with the Director of Development and Board of Trustees, you will play an important role in delivering the theatre’s flagship annual fundraising gala — a celebrated and high-profile event at the heart of our fundraising programme – including:

• Shaping and managing guest lists and invitations 

• Exploring sponsorship opportunities and auction activity, creating an exceptional experience for supporters while maximising income generation 

• Working closely with operational teams on catering, entertainment and venue management. 

Alongside this, you will work with the Development team to create and deliver a year-round programme of stewardship and cultivation events — creating meaningful opportunities for audiences and supporters to connect more deeply with the Theatre’s work and artists.

Board and Development Committee

You will support the smooth running of the Development Committee through efficient administration, coordination and communication, while also building strong working relationships with Board Trustees.

Working closely with Trustees, you will help cultivate new supporter relationships through prospect introductions, events and donor engagement activity, playing an important role in strengthening the Theatre’s network of advocates and supporters.

General 

As part of a collaborative and ambitious team, you will support the effective administration and financial management of Development activity, maintaining accurate income and expenditure records and contributing to regular income forecasting and reporting.

You will also help coordinate guest lists for Press Nights and other cultivation events, preparing briefing materials for senior staff and Board Members to ensure supporters and stakeholders receive a thoughtful, informed and personalised experience throughout their engagement with the Theatre.

For many of these people, their everyday experience will be one of rejection or helplessness and their cultural and religious background may mean they are least likely to hear the gospel. It’s clear throughout the Bible that God has a heart for people who are marginalised and overlooked. And tragically, it’s often in London’s most deprived communities that people are least likely to hear the invitation to repentance and eternal hope in Jesus.

At London City Mission, we are partnering with churches who have a growing passion for reaching out to the communities around them, but who need equipping and building up for this crucial work. Our aim over the next five years is to see 150 new missional teams established in churches across London. These missional teams are groups of church members who take responsibility for a ministry to a community who may not otherwise hear about Jesus, are affirmed and publicly supported by the church leadership, pray for each other and for the people they want to invite to follow Christ, using their different gifts regularly to reach people who are part of this community. The Missionary role is, therefore, a Church mobilisation role.

We are seeking candidates for a Missionary role who have a passion for sharing the good news of Jesus with specific groups of Londoners, and who can also come alongside churches to train and inspire Christian believers to reach their local communities with the hope of the gospel.

The successful candidate will minister in – but not restricted to - the following locations:

• Camden and Islington team with a specialist focus on Diaspora churches and groups with an interest in Homeless and Marginalised.
• Haringey and Enfield team with a specialist focus on Children, Youth and Schools.
• Pan-London Prisons and Resettlement team with a focus on supporting prison leavers in the community.

The successful applicants will have experience of outreach amongst the neediest groups in our society but will also understand the church landscape in London and be able to inspire those in London churches to get involved in outreach. They will also need to be able to raise ministry personal support, including a target financial support as well as prayer supporters for the work of the Mission through personal and church partnership networks.

We will help train, develop and support you in your role through our professional and established Training team, your line manager and other colleagues. Our heart is to help you be the best that you can be in your role and to help you develop further in your missional and evangelism skills.

This position is a full-time, permanent appointment. Starting salary is £22,546 per annum plus £1,200 per month housing allowance (taxable). Mission housing will be discussed with successful candidates after probation. We also provide a generous employer contribution to a group pension scheme. Targets for personal financial support will be £10,500 for the year 2026.

Share is seeking an Executive Assistant to our Senior Leadership Team. In this role you will support Share’s four-person SLT to work effectively by assisting with the administrative aspects of their work and liaising with Share’s trustees.

You will manage diaries, collate information for reports, support them with data collection and organise trustees’ meetings and events. You will support fundraising at Share, so we can do more great work to support our students, by researching available grants, and work with project managers to ensure reports are delivered on time and at a high standard.

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Officer

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Officer to join the EDI function on a part-time basis, with a particular focus on supporting the Witness Service.

This role is home-based but will require occasional travel within England and Wales.

The Role

The Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Officer will support the National Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead to achieve delivery of meaningful and evidence-based equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) initiatives across the charity, with a particular focus on the Witness Service. This will include work to help develop the Witness Service, and the charity more widely, to be proactively antiracist.

The EDI Officer will provide advice and guidance in relation to a wide range of EDI queries, including areas such as equality impact assessments, reasonable adjustments and interpretation services. You will help to boost Witness Service employee and volunteer engagement in EDI initiatives and promote best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert advice and guidance on a wide range of EDI queries.
• Review and support with the completion of Equality Impact Assessments.
• Support staff and volunteer network leads to grow their networks and engage the Witness Service.
• Develop evidence-based resources around a range of EDI topics.
• Promote antiracism at all opportunities.
• Support the delivery of EDI project work.
• Undertake data analysis and reporting.
• Provide administrative support for projects and meetings, keeping accurate records.

About You

You will be passionate about helping to shape inclusive environments that allow our employees, volunteers and service users to feel safe and supported. You will use your EDI knowledge to work with internal and external stakeholders, championing lived experience and intersectionality.

You will need:

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an accessible way, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience of supporting the delivery of a range of EDI initiatives.
• Strong understanding of equality legislation and best practice, as well as current challenges affecting EDI.
• Experience of analysing data and produce data reports using Microsoft Excel.
• Passion for advancing equality, diversity and inclusion with an intersectional focus.
• Organised and methodical approach with the ability to plan and prioritise a highly varied workload effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong IT and administrative skills including the use of Microsoft Office packages.

About the Witness Service

The Witness Service provides free, independent support to any witness giving evidence in criminal courts in England and Wales, both for the prosecution and the defence. The trained staff and volunteers help people understand what to expect before, during and after a trial, and offer practical and emotional support every step of the way, so witnesses can give their best evidence. The Witness Service also supports bereaved family members, friends and family who are accompanying witnesses in court.

MindWorks is a research programme designed as a randomised controlled trial to test a specialist intervention for young people at risk of school exclusion due to challenging behaviour. What you’ll do

You will provide high-quality administrative support to the MindWorks clinical team, including managing referrals and maintaining accurate records. The role acts as a key point of contact for families, schools and partners, ensuring clear communication and smooth service delivery. You will also support data collection and reporting while handling sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.

What you'll bring

Essential requirements:

• Proven administrative experience working in a busy office environment (ideally health or voluntary sector) with good understanding of administrative processes, data management and reporting.
• Understanding of clinical context, particularly when supporting families and young people from diverse or minoritised backgrounds.
• Confident with IT and systems (including Microsoft Office suite) and ability to manage digital records and systems effectively.
• Collaboration and communication skills: ability to build relationships in multidisciplinary teams while working independently and engaging with stakeholders professionally.

Monitor and report on funded activity, ensuring funder requirements and deadlines are met

Lead on communicating fundraising impact, outcomes, successes and stories, working with communications colleagues

Experience:

You will be highly organised, confident working with budgets and multiple stakeholders, and motivated by social impact.

You will have a minimum of 2-3 years working in fundraising, social value or bid writing.

You’ll have experience in fundraising, grants, partnerships or social value delivery, with strong research, writing and coordination skills, and a collaborative approach to working across teams.

You will be an excellent bid writer with the ability to translate service need and customer aspirations into compelling, winning bids.

You may have experience of raising funds for organisations that are not registered charities but have charitable status.
