Salary: £50,455 pro-rated to 21 hours (actual £30,273)

Hours: Part time, 21 hours per week

About the Role

As Finance Manager, you will own the delivery of financial compliance, reporting and planning for the organisation. Reporting to the COO, you will provide leadership within the finance function, ensuring the accurate and timely production of management accounts, budgets and forecasts. You will focus on technical review, strategic financial analysis, Board reporting and business partnering with senior stakeholders, supporting effective organisational decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

Management Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting

• Review and quality-assure monthly management accounts.
• Provide strategic commentary and analysis for the COO and CEO.
• Lead the annual budget process and reforecasting cycle, setting timelines, assumptions and formats; direct the Financial Controller in the preparation of supporting schedules and present final outputs.
• Develop financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, pricing and scenario planning, providing recommendations to the COO and Leadership Team.

Board & Subcommittee Reporting and Governance

• Prepare financial performance, planning and reporting papers for the Board, Audit and Risk Committee, and Leadership Team.
• Work with the COO to develop, review and maintain financial policies and procedures.

Line Management and Finance Delivery

• Line manage the Financial Controller.
• Manage the relationship with external bookkeeping support.
• Act as the escalation point for complex finance queries.

Financial Control and Systems

• Design and maintain robust financial controls, processes and reconciliations.
• Drive the ongoing development and effective use of Xero to improve efficiency, reporting and quality.
• Ensure tax compliance across VAT, payroll and corporation tax returns.

Statutory Accounts

• Prepare annual statutory accounts (the financial section of the Annual Report).
• Review year-end working papers and analysis, responding to technical and judgement-based audit queries.

Business Partnering

• Act as finance business partner to senior budget holders and Leadership Team members.
• Set standards and frameworks for business partnering delivered by the Financial Controller.
• Meet regularly with senior budget holders to review financial performance, challenge assumptions and support decision-making.
• Lead complex financial analysis and provide advice to support departmental and project decisions.
• Provide financial input into organisational strategy, pricing and business development.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent)
• Proven experience in leading the delivery of high-quality management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis to support organisational decision-making
• Strong governance and financial control mindset, and proficiency in developing, maintaining and improving financial systems, policies and processes
• Effective business partnering and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credible relationships and provide professional financial advice to senior budget holders and the Leadership Team
• Sound knowledge of statutory financial reporting, external audit processes and tax compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and confidently to a range of audiences

We are looking for a Communications and Digital Campaigns Coordinator/Lead to work with Feeding Liverpool’s Food Alliance partners and staff team to increase the reach and collective impact of our work through communications, digital campaigns and storytelling.

The role will enable the food alliance in Liverpool to embrace and promote the voices and perspectives of Liverpool’s communities and partners - an essential step in creating a more equitable food system for everybody in the city.

As our Regional Media Officer, you'll help bring these stories to life. You'll create media coverage that raises awareness, influences change and inspires people to support Alzheimer's Society.
Reporting to the Regional Media Manager, you'll work across the region. You'll deliver media activity that supports our campaigns, fundraising, services, research and local influencing priorities.
You'll help strengthen our reputation as a trusted voice on dementia.
No two days will be the same. You might be finding a powerful story one day, responding to breaking news the next, or supporting a spokesperson before an interview. You'll help create campaigns that reach and engage people.

Safe Zones service offers , step-down crisis support to young people experiencing mental health crises. These Safe Zones are located in multiple locations, including Bolton, Wigan and Tameside. Access is initially by referral from the Mental health Liaison Team, CYP Crisis Team, and CAMHS

To lead and co-ordinate the delivery of mental health early help services in Greater Manchester; predominantly ensuring that all elements of service delivery for children and young people are successful and delivered to a high quality against the contract.

About you and the role 

We're looking for an inquisitive, analytical and collaborativeResearch and Policy Officerto join our growing team. 

You'll play a key role in helping Digital Care Hub become the leading source of evidence, insight and practical guidance on digital transformation, data, AI and cybersecurity in adult social care. 

Working across our national programmes, you'll design and deliver research projects, analyse policy developments, engage with providers and partners, and translate complex issues into clear, practical resources that help the sector improve. You'll contribute to consultation responses, produce reports and briefings, support national events and webinars, and help us demonstrate the impact of our work. 

This is a varied role that combines research, policy development, stakeholder engagement and programme delivery. No two weeks will look the same—you could be facilitating a roundtable with care providers, analysing survey data, drafting a briefing for government, interviewing providers for a case study or helping develop new guidance on AI in social care. 

You'll work closely with colleagues across Digital Care Hub and our national partners, taking an entrepreneurial approach to identifying emerging issues, generating insight and turning evidence into action. We are looking for Programme Assistants to support the management, set-up and smooth running of Power2 activities, including our Teens and Toddlers group programme.

Our new Programme Assistants will work as part of our team of Programme Leads and Programme Assistants working in school settings to support young people, their families, and school staff to ensure that at-risk pupils improve their wellbeing, make the most of their education, and improve their life chances. The successful candidates could be based in one school or travel between multiple schools.

The role

This is a fixed-term parental leave cover post for 1 year. The post holder will step into the co-Executive Director role with co-responsibility for Foxglove's strategy, impact, advocacy, operations, fundraising and public facing work. The post holder will work very closely with Foxglove’s other co-Executive Director and will make all sizable decisions about Foxglove together. UK and international travel (approx. 20%) is required.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Strategy, Leadership and Impact

1.Serve as a member of Foxglove's leadership team, helping to set direction across the organisation.

2.Work closely with the co-Executive Director and Director of Advocacy to align Foxglove's legal, advocacy and operations work.

3.Represent Foxglove externally: to the press, at events, with funders (trusts, foundations & individual donors), members of parliament and with policymakers and allies.

Length and Salary
