BeSpace is a small but growing Christian charity with a big vision to see a future where every child has space to develop personal tools to pray, reflect and grow spiritually throughout their lives, helping churches, schools and communities to flourish.

We have seen incredible impact through developing prayer and reflections spaces in schools across Oxfordshire. Since 2010, over 65,000 children have experienced prayer and reflection spaces led by local churches, trained and resourced by us. Currently 60 schools a year have one. Now, we’re building on this momentum to reach over 115 schools in the next three years and are preparing to grow nationally with developing contemplative retreats for schools.

About the Role

We are looking for an Operations Coordinator to cover adoption leave, likely for one year. This is a vital role in keeping BeSpace running smoothly and enabling our small but growing team to thrive. You will also, where needed, play a hands-on role in supporting churches and schools in our work. 

In this role, you will:

• Take responsibility for key operational processes including recruitment, HR, and volunteer management systems — not only maintaining them effectively but actively seeking ways to innovate and strengthen them, with guidance and support from senior leaders. 
• Manage finance administration, including donations, CRM (Beacon), and Gift Aid claims.
• Project manage BeSpace events and provide admin support to the team.
• Develop and maintain systems for impact tracking, GDPR compliance, and volunteer management.
• Provide communications and social media support.
• Where needed, support on-the-ground delivery of retreats and prayer and reflection spaces in schools.
• This role would suit someone with strong organisational and administrative skills, a passion for children’s spiritual development, and a willingness to get stuck into a wide variety of tasks.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Exceptionally organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Confident using IT systems and willing to learn how to use a CRM (Beacon).
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.

Role Details

• Position: Operations Coordinator
• Location: Hybrid, travel required for in person team days 3 - 6 times a year and approximately 1 day a week into Oxford.

We are looking for an ecologist to drive forward Biodiversity Enhancement potential in Scotland, helping to ensure this plays a part in bolstering Scotland’s ability to tackle the nature crisis. Sitting at the heart of our operational involvement with Biodiversity Enhancement, this role will help to ensure that Biodiversity Enhancement delivers bigger, better and more joined up nature restoration.  The post holder will work closely with SSEN Transmission and RSPB Scotland teams to find, assess and establish a pipeline of projects for delivery on RSPB Nature Reserves.

This is a 3-year post that can be based anywhere in Scotland and will involve travel across our Scottish reserves.

What's the role about?

The core responsibilities of this role are:

• Assessing on-reserve projects against SSEN Transmission’s Biodiversity Enhancement metric and RSPB Scotland’s existing ecological priorities
• Working closely with both organisations to develop suitable Biodiversity Enhancement projects that deliver priority nature conservation objectives, within the requirements of the Scottish planning system.
• Advising both organisations on ecological aspects of potential projects to maximise nature conservation benefit
• Developing Habitat Management Plans and evaluating the expected ecological performance of projects.
• Identifying habitat management revisions through observation and analysis of ongoing management.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

• Using net gain biodiversity metrics (ideally the SSEN metric) to design tangible habitat restoration projects, and knowledge of their application in a Scottish context.
• Use of UKHab (Phase 1, NVC also desirable) to carry out surveys on a broad range of habitat and species, to a consistent high standard.
• Developing habitat management plans to deliver ecological goals.
• Flexibility and solutions focused - a strong desire and ability to find a way forward when existing approaches aren’t working.
• Collaboration in multi-disciplinary project teams and the skills required to maintain and develop good relations across many stakeholders.
• Personal time management and prioritisation to meet project deadlines and external partner requirements.
• Record keeping and data management using databases/mapping software such as ArcGIS, QGIS and Merlin (RSPB bespoke system), plus standard ecological survey software.
• Written and verbal communication skills to compile metric toolkit assessments, habitat management and restoration plans, monitoring reports, conveying technical information verbally to stakeholders.
• Ability to confidently and safely access and work in remote areas across Scotland. A UK driving licence is essential, as many reserves are not served by public transport.

Desirable skills, knowledge and experience:

• Experience of nature reserve management planning and design of wildlife habitat creation projects, with a good understanding of conservation land management techniques and constraints.
• Knowledge of Scottish designation, wildlife and environmental legislation and planning policy
• Design and delivery of habitat enhancement or restoration schemes
• Monitoring and compliance checks for net gain delivery
• Working within planning or development contexts
• CIEEM membership
• FISC level of 3 and above

Additional Information:

• This is a Fixed-Term 3 year, Full time role for 37.5 hours per week.
• This role is home based, will involve travel across our Scottish reserves and will involve lone working and occasional weekend and evening working

About the Charity

From Me to You is an inspiring charity dedicated to alleviating loneliness and isolation for people living with cancer. We make connections for people living with cancer through the simple, powerful act of letter writing easing loneliness and bringing comfort, hope and human connection, one letter at a time.  Each year thousands of anonymous letters are collated by our team of volunteers and then given to patients at home, in hospitals or cancer centres by nurses and our charity partners. Recent feedback showed that 93% of our letter recipients reported that the letters lifted their mood and a quarter said that they made them feel less alone, with 80% saying that our letters made them feel cared for. Our work is powered by a passionate community of volunteers, in 2025 with their help we processed over 17,000 letters from all over the world, delivering them to cancer patients throughout the UK. 

Our Donate a Letter programme supports our 2,500+ Volunteer Letter Writers to contribute anonymous letters, some people write a couple of letters a year, others one a week. These letters are all delivered to our PO Box in Ascot. They are then sorted, read and processed by our wonderful team of local Donate a Letter Volunteers. These volunteers also then repackaged and redistributed the suitable letters to cancer patients through our partnership with hospitals, cancer centres and other charities that act as distribution partners. 

About the Role

We are seeking an organised and people-focused Volunteer Coordinator to manage and support our volunteer network. The role involves overseeing our Community Ambassadors based across the UK who support the charity through fundraising, awareness and community activities, as well as a core team of volunteers (based in Ascot) who process our donated letters by reading, filtering, packaging, and posting them to recipients. This is a key role ensuring our volunteers feel supported, informed, and motivated, while helping the charity operate smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

Volunteer Management

This is more than an coordinator role. Job title: People & Culture Coordinator

Hours of work: Full time - 35 hours per week

Job Purpose:

To support OMF’s mission and vision by providing excellent administrative support for the People & Culture department and coordinating the provision of pastoral care and resources which promote the wellbeing, engagement and development of OMF International (UK) workers, including members andretirees.

The jobholder has a special responsibility for coordinating professional and compassionate pastoral, spiritual, and practical care across the OMF International (UK) community. The People & Culture Coordinator will embody and promote OMF’s values, maintaining a consistent culture of care, compliance, and prayerful support across the organisation.

Supporting the wider OMF team

• Champion OMF’s values of prayer, partnership, and care across all people processes.

• Pray regularly with and for OMF workers, fostering spiritual encouragement and modelling a pastoral approach to leadership.

• Support and participate in OMF International’s mission, by regularly leading the daily National Office Prayers.

• Be open to exploring opportunities to lead weekly office devotions and/or worship.

• Attend regular internal events (such as Home Assignment Workshops, UK team days, retreat days, and other team functions) and occasional external events, presenting and leading departmental sessions as required.

Communication & Partnership

• Liaise with Area Representatives, churches, and partners to ensure members, retirees and volunteers are connected and supported locally.

• Encourage members in partner development and prayer support, particularly when on Home Assignment.

• Liaise with the Communications Department to highlight and effectively share stories and encouragements from OMF international (UK) workers.

• Provide reporting on member movement and status to the Finance Team and Leadership Team

• Undertake any other reasonable ad-hoc duties as specified by the People & Culture Manager.

Safeguarding & Compliance

• Promote a culture of safety, inclusion, and care across all people-related processes.

• Support training and awareness for staff, members, and volunteers on safeguarding and wellbeing issues.

Person Specification

Educated to A Level or equivalent, preferable CIPD level 3 qualified 

Theological and/or missiological training

Good understanding of the UK and Ireland Christian context and cross-cultural mission

Basic knowledge of safeguarding 

Competent user of Microsoft Office, databases, and digital communication tools including Microsoft Teams

Driven to achieve high standards in administration and events organisation

Self-motivated, keen to drive projects forward using own initiative

Friendly and courteous towards candidates, colleagues and supporters

Emotionally intelligent, a good listener with apastoral nature

Responds positively to constructive feedback

Adopts a can-do attitude and flexible approach 

Open to change and willing to learn new skills

Prioritises consistency and compliance, whilst also demonstrating a compassionate response to individual circumstances.

Terms of Appointment

• Full time 35 Hours pw Mon-Fri; occasional evening/weekend commitments

• Salary £28,000-£32,000 per annum commensurate with experience

• Non-contributory pension of 8% of salary on completion of a probationary period andbackdated to start date

• Paid annual leave entitlement of 25 days in addition to pro-rata public holidays

Trust Fundraiser

3 days per week

About the role

This Best Companies Top 50 mid-sized company and Top10 charity is looking to appoint a Trust Fundraiser (3 days per week) to manage and build relationships with charitable trusts and foundations, raising the funds we need to deliver and grow our support services.

Our Philanthropy Team is an ambitious team with a well-established fundraising programme, playing a significant role in raising the £5.7m a year to fund our support services and with plans to grow income over the next 3-5 years. We have an established portfolio of funders, giving low level gifts to six figure donations and you will have the opportunity to work on large applications.

The Trust Fundraiser will work closely with the Philanthropy Manager to drive Rainbow Trust’s Trusts & Foundations fundraising programme. You will cultivate strong working relationships with a portfolio of trust and foundation supporters, increasing their engagement and support of the charity, through reports, meetings and phone calls. Through the identification and research of new prospective trust funders, you will find creative ways to engage with them to secure funding.

Location: Leatherhead, Surrey (some working from home options)

What we’re looking for:

· Excellent research and writing skills, preferably with experience of successfully securing four- or five-figure gifts from charitable trusts and foundations

· The ability to work effectively with a range of internal and external people – including trust managers and trustees to build great relationships and influence

· Knowledge of the requirements of trust funders, the principles of application-writing and effective project reporting and of managing a funding portfolio or similar

· A persuasive and open communicator - the ability to develop and submit high-quality and compelling funding proposals and reports to trusts, working closely with colleagues across the charity

· Committed to providing the highest level of donor care, including creative stewardship for funders, meeting all grant terms and conditions and responding effectively and promptly to enquiries received from donors, funders and prospects.

TRC Sexual Abuse & Rape Support Greater Manchester is seeking an experienced and committed professional to join our team as our Services & Operations Manager.

Based across our sites in Trafford, you will provide clinical and operational oversight of TRC’s service areas (counselling, ISVA, helpline & digital, and Pathfinder) and provide direct day-to-day service management. You will lead on safeguarding, act as a line of support between the client-facing services and the CEO, line-manage our service coordinators, lead on triage meetings and coordinate TRC's centre.

This job would be ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting survivors of sexual violence, has line-management experience and has case management experience in a specialist support service.
