Job description

Looking for a fundraising role where you can take ownership, build lasting corporate partnerships and see the impact of your work first-hand?

Join MedEquip4Kids and help secure vital funding for equipment, facilities and mental health support that transform the lives of young people across the UK.

Since 1985, we have raised more than £25 million to fund neonatal and paediatric medical equipment, sensory and play facilities, specialised equipment for disabled children, and mental health support. With a strong reputation, long-standing supporters and an established programme of fundraising events, we continue to make a lasting difference to thousands of children each year.

Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established children's charity and play an important role in our future growth. As a Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser, you'll develop and manage a portfolio of supporters, secure new partnerships and identify opportunities to increase income through sponsorships, events and fundraising initiatives.

Alongside building relationships with businesses, you'll create compelling proposals and demonstrate the impact of donations through reports, visits and regular communications. You'll represent MedEquip4Kids at events and networking opportunities and help to raise our profile within the business community.

As part of a small and supportive team, you'll have the opportunity to bring fresh ideas, take ownership of your work and make a direct contribution to improving young lives. This role would suit someone who enjoys building relationships and seeing the tangible impact of their fundraising efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Income generation

  • Maximise funding from existing relationships and identify, research and secure new corporate funding opportunities.
  • Meet agreed annual fundraising targets for corporate sponsorship, including annual income figures and corporate outreach numbers.

Funder stewardship and reporting

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate supporters through regular communication and excellent account management.
  • Invite supporters to project visits and events, enabling them to see the impact of their donations first-hand.

Internal collaboration and event support

  • Lead the planning and delivery of fundraising and stewardship events.
  • Contribute ideas, stories and content for social media, newsletters and the charity website.

Is the Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser role right for you?

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience in fundraising, sales, business development, account management or corporate partnerships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver compelling proposals and presentations.
  • Experience using databases or CRM systems and managing fundraising or sales pipelines.
  • A genuine passion for improving outcomes for children and young people.

MedEquip4Kids is committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and welcomes applications from people of all backgrounds. We want our recruitment process to be accessible and inclusive, so please let us know if you require any adjustments or support when applying or attending an interview.
