As Treasury Manager at Alzheimer's Society, you'll ensure we can confidently meet our commitments to people affected by dementia by managing our cash flow, income streams, and reserves effectively.

About the opportunity

As Treasury Manager within our Finance & Assurance directorate, you'll own our Treasury and Accounts Receivable functions, playing a vital role in our financial sustainability. You'll monitor our cash position, forecast cash flow across diverse income streams from online fundraising platforms to direct donations and community collections, and manage banking relationships to ensure we optimise our working capital and invest our reserves wisely.

This isn't a back-office role. You'll be a highly visible partner to budget holders and business partners across the organisation, providing the treasury insights that enable confident financial planning and investment. You'll ensure we have the liquidity needed to support our work as income flows in from our incredible fundraisers, navigating the complexities of restricted and unrestricted funds to safeguard every pound raised and maximise our impact.

Using data and metrics as your tools, you'll drive performance improvements while supporting the development of our Accounts Assistants team. Your ability to balance rigorous treasury controls with collaborative partnership will be essential to success in this role.

This role will focus approximately 80% on Treasury and 20% on Accounts Receivable.

About you:

You're an experienced treasury professional who enjoys using forecasting and data to provide strategic financial insights. You excel at optimising cash positions and working capital, and you can translate complex treasury information into clear, practical guidance for budget holders and business partners. You bring fresh thinking to treasury challenges and understand that strong cash management enables organisations to achieve their goals.

You'll have:

• Proven treasury or cash management experience in a medium to large organisation, including cash flow forecasting, cash positioning, and banking relationship management.
• Effective forecasting and analytical skills with the ability to model scenarios and provide strategic cash insights to support decision-making.
• Experience managing banking relationships, optimising cash deployment, and working with multiple bank accounts and treasury systems.
• Track record in managing end-to-end accounts receivable processes, including invoice generation, reconciliation, and collections.
• Ability to develop and motivate teams using a high challenge, high support approach, particularly those undertaking professional development.
• Good communication and influencing skills, with proven ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders and colleagues across departments.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, with strong ability to analyse, interpret and present financial data effectively.
• Understanding of financial accounting systems and how they integrate with treasury operations; charity sector experience is beneficial but not essential.

About the Role

• Experience working with trade unions is desirable. 

• Experience within healthcare, social care or the charity sector is an advantage, but not essential.

Summary:

The Supporter Partnerships Officer (SPO) plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional experience for new and existing supporters of London City Mission.

Purpose of the job:

As a key member of the Fundraising team, you will be the first point of contact for individuals and organisations who give to the charity; handling enquiries, processing donations given over the telephone, updating supporter records, nurturing long-term relationships and providing insight to other members of the fundraising team.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a people-centred environment, enjoys providing outstanding supporter care, and is energised by working in a mission‑driven fundraising setting.

Your work ensures supporters feel valued, informed, and inspired to continue their journey with us. Conversations around personal faith, Biblical convictions around supporting gospel ministry and requests for prayer often form part of the dialogue between the SPO and supporters.

Key responsibilities:

Supporter care and engagement

• Be the first point of contact for supporters' (existing and new) enquiries by phone, email, letter, website and any other fundraising channels. Ensure they experience an excellent standard of response and experience.
• Be responsible for ensuring donations are thanked promptly and for establishing excellent standards of supporter care.
• You will look for opportunities to send stories and communications that show the Mission’s appreciation including leading on the LCM wide thank you events to Individual Giving supporters.
• Keep thank you letters up to date with new stories to show the impact of their donations.
• Respond to the cancellation of donations thanking the supporter for their gifts and ensure that the cancellation was planned.

 Data and insights

• Ensure all supporter information and interactions are captured accurately, up to date and stored in the fundraising CRM in line with GDPR and organisational policies to allow LCM to maximise income. This includes creating new records, assist with managing online donation pages and communicate with supporters on communication preferences and gift aid.
• Run regular reports to track supporter engagement, retention, and income trends.
• Use insights to improve supporter stewardship and fundraising journeys.

Proactive fundraising support

• Identify opportunities to deepen supporter relationships, including upgrading gifts, promoting campaigns, or encouraging long term commitments.
• Support the delivery of fundraising appeals, events, and supporter journeys.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the fundraising team to deliver outstanding supporter experiences.
• Maximise income by ensuring gift aid declarations are correct and up to date giving supporters every opportunity to opt in. 

Donation processing and administration

• Accurately set up new direct debits and Gift Aid declarations.
• During staff absence support the recording and reconciliation of donations if necessary.

Fundraising and supporter partnerships team

• Represent LCM at external events and conferences each year where the SPO will be expected to communicate LCM’s vision with a passion for and understanding of the gospel message, as well as share their personal journey of faith in Jesus Christ.
• Provide support and take part in meetings, activities and events in the Fundraising and Supporter Partnerships Team.
• Fully participate in the spiritual life of the Mission including attending the annual week of prayer, the monthly Team Day and daily staff prayers.

This role is based in London City Mission office in Tower Bridge Road and will involve occasional UK travel.

As a SHPS Housing Coach you will be working with individuals to prevent or relieve homelessness by sourcing affordable, suitable and sustainable private rented sector accommodation. About the role
As Retail Compliance Manager, you will be accountable for maintaining and implementing retail compliance within our risk management framework, ensuring legislative requirements are met and risks to our people, operations and brand are minimised. Working on a remote-first basis, you will support central trading teams and retail operations to embed safe, legal and best practice ways of working across our shop network and retail activities.

The role will involve occasional travel to our shops across the UK (approximately 1–3 times per month) to support incident management.

This is a 6-month fixed term contract, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact during a key period for our Retail function.

In this role, you will:

• Oversee implementation of compliance with the retail risk management framework, including annual compliance checks and health & safety risk assessments.
• Develop and implement a retail audit programme, ensuring actions are tracked, completed and embedded.
• Lead on retail compliance policies and procedures, ensuring they remain up to date, clear and compliant with statutory requirements.
• Monitor incidents, investigations and emerging trends, making recommendations to the Retail Leadership Team to inform the risk register and decision-making.
• Support shop teams through training, coaching and expectation setting to drive consistent compliance and best practice.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Retail, Property and Knowledge teams to ensure statutory testing, documentation and guidance are in place and accessible.

About you

To be successful, it is important that you have:

• A strong understanding of charity retail operations and the compliance landscape within a retail environment.
• Experience of health and safety legislation and broader retail compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to write clear, practical policies, procedures and guidance.
• Excellent influencing, facilitation and communication skills, with the confidence to coach and support others to achieve compliance.
• Experience working with volunteers and operational teams, ideally within a multi-site environment.
• A proactive, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach, able to prioritise effectively under pressure.
• Commitment to Save the Children's vision, mission and values.
