About 500k 

Our vision is a church in every village in India: an India where every person has a chance to hear the good news of Jesus. 

We do this through sending Indian people to plant churches in unreached Indian villages, in partnership with local Indian leaders and Bible Colleges. Our culture is radical, sacrificial and Jesus-centric. We value effectiveness and working smart as well as hard to reach as many villages as possible. About the role

As the Chief Operating Officer (COO) you will be forming a partnership with the CEO to lead 500k. 

You will be unlocking the growth of this ministry as well as sharpening our impact and making it sustainable. You will be a key part of enabling us to achieve our goal of growing 5x over the next 5-10 years.

As COO you will have a prominent role in creating and achieving our annual growth plan. You will be responsible for the organisation’s day-to-day operations, people management, systems efficiency, financial stewardship, safeguarding and compliance requirements. You will anticipate and plan for our growing needs with the development of new people and systems.

The current set-up of our team is that all our 17 paid staff are in India. Our 3 UK staff, (including the CEO) work for 500k bivocationally and are not paid. They work at FTEs of 70%, 20% and 15%. This arrangement has been reached through the outworking of our values of radical generosity, radical dependence on the Lord, and seeking to maximally empower our Indian team.

For the last 18 months we have been discerning whether to scale our current arrangement (with more bivocational or support-raising staff in the West) or whether to switch to a salaried model for our UK team. 

We desire the new COO to be a part of this discernment process. You should be open to the options of fully or partially support-raising your own salary, or working bivocationally, alongside the option of being salaried by 500k. Having said that, we are committed to landing on a clear plan with you prior to your commencement in the role. A full time role is preferable, but we are open for your commitment to 500k being FTE 70% or more, particularly if the bivocational option is being pursued.

Prison Fellowship (PF) is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Head of Volunteer & Church Engagement to lead and develop our work with volunteers and churches across England and Wales.

Reporting to the Chief Executive and sitting on the Senior Leadership Team, this role offers both strategic influence and hands-on leadership. You will shape the development of PF’s volunteer engagement and church partnerships, ensuring that volunteers are inspired, equipped and mobilised to deliver transformational support for people in prison and their families.

You will lead volunteer recruitment, induction and leadership development, supporting a large and geographically dispersed volunteer base. Working closely with colleagues, you will help ensure volunteers are aligned with PF’s programmes and priorities, while developing new and innovative ways for people to engage in PF’s work.

A key element of the role is church engagement. You will develop and lead PF’s church engagement strategy, building and sustaining strong relationships with churches across denominations. You will represent PF at churches, events and festivals, and work with the Chief Executive to cultivate relationships with senior and denominational church leaders.

About you

The successful candidate will have experience in volunteer management and leadership development, strong communication and public-speaking skills, and a good understanding of the UK Church. You will be a collaborative and resilient leader, able to think strategically while delivering operationally. Experience in a faith-based organisation is essential, and experience in prisons or criminal justice is desirable.

Working arrangements

Shieldfield Art Works (SAW) is a project of the Methodist Church in Newcastle upon Tyne which is seeking the wellbeing of the city through creative practice. We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic individual to build up Shieldfield Art Work’s fundraising programme and contribute to our strategy. This is a vital part of our work as we seek to become more sustainable and resilient in an ever challenging climate. 

Our ideal candidate will have good experience in developing and implementing a robust fundraising strategy in order to take the strategic fundraising work of our community arts hub into a new chapter. You will also be able to articulate your active Christian faith, be able to explain SAW's Christian ministry and show ability to be able to write for both Christian and secular funders with different priorties.

The role is suitable for candidates who are experienced in larger and multi-year applications to trusts and foundations (ideally in the cultural sector), developing individual giving campaigns and CSR channels, cultivating donor relationships and a good storyteller, to tell the story of and champion SAW. Shieldfield Art Works (SAW) is a project of the Methodist Church in Newcastle upon Tyne which is seeking the good of the city through creative practice. We are a team of artists who support others to be creative, and use our creativity to support others. We believe that the arts help us to articulate what it is to be human and that arts participation enables joy and flourishing in unique and unexpected ways. We are blessed with a gallery, workshop room and garden on our site in Shieldfield and so try to organise ways for these assets to be a blessing to our local community.

About the Role

World Vision UK is offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as the Personal Assistant (PA) to the Chief Fundraising & Marketing Officer (CFMO). This role is pivotal in supporting our mission to make a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable children around the world.

Key Responsibilities

· Executive Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CFMO, including managing schedules, organising meetings, and handling correspondence.

· Liaison Duties: Serve as the primary point of contact between the CFMO, internal teams, and external partners, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.

· Organisational Tasks: Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials as required, ensuring all documents are accurate and delivered on time.

· Event Coordination: Organise and coordinate meetings, conferences, and events, ensuring all logistics are effectively managed. This includes all directorate wide meetings such as prayer meetings, team away days and social gatherings.

· Project Management: Support the CFMO in various projects, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.

· Managing Travel and External Engagements: Our CFMO is externally facing approximately 30% of the time, your travel management skills are critical. This will include planning and booking flights, accommodations, transportation, and itineraries to ensure smooth and efficient travel experiences.

· Cross Directorate Support: As a PA to the CFMO, you play a crucial role in supporting not just the CFMO but the entire directorate

About You

We are looking for someone with:

· Proven Experience: A successful track record of supporting directors or chief executives, demonstrating the ability to work efficiently within an organisational framework.

· Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational abilities with a keen attention to detail, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

· Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.

· Motivation and Enthusiasm: A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work, with a passion for contributing to a mission-driven organisation.

· Flexibility: The ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Business & Operations Manager to oversee the efficient and effective running of Carroty Wood’s administrative and business support functions. This is a key leadership role, ensuring excellence across bookings administration, commercial operations, and customer experience, while supporting the Centre Director and Leadership Team to deliver the Centre’s strategic and missional goals.

Motivated by your Christian faith, you will be able to clearly and respectfully communicate Rock UK’s Christian ethos, mission and values to staff and guests of all faiths and none.

You will need to have:

• Excellent organisational and administrative skills

• Experience of leading and motivating a team

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with accounting processes

• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
