Help Create Life-Changing Experiences for Children

At Honeypot, we believe every child deserves the chance to feel safe, valued and supported. As our Children's Services Coordinator, you will play a vital role in making that happen.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate and dedicated team, coordinating the delivery of residential breaks, wellbeing programmes for young carers and vulnerable children across Scotland.

As the person at the heart of our services, you'll bring together people, information and processes to ensure every programme runs smoothly from start to finish. From managing referrals and bookings to coordinating transport, communicating with families and supporting service delivery, you'll help create positive experiences that have a lasting impact on the children and families we support.

No two days will be the same. One day you might be helping a family through the referral process, the next coordinating logistics for an upcoming residential break, preparing essential documentation, analysing service data, or supporting colleagues to ensure every child receives the best possible experience.

What You'll Be Doing

• Coordinating the planning and delivery of respite breaks, wellbeing programmes and outreach services
• Managing referrals, bookings and placements to ensure children receive the right support at the right time
• Building positive relationships with families, referral partners and external stakeholders
• Maintaining accurate records and producing reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement
• Supporting safeguarding, health and safety, and compliance processes
• Coordinating communications, transport arrangements and programme logistics
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the service and Honeypot Scotland sit

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is organised, adaptable and confident working in a busy environment where priorities can change quickly. You'll be a natural coordinator who enjoys solving problems, building relationships and keeping multiple projects moving forward.

You will have:

• Previous experience in an administration or coordination role, ideally within children's services, health, education, charity or community settings
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ideally database systems
• The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• An understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding and data protection principles
• A full driving licence and access to your own transport
