About the role:
At Camden Young Person’s High Support Accommodation Service, nights matter. They can be the point where worry, distress, conflict or risk comes to the surface - and where calm, skilled leadership can make all the difference. As Night Manager, you will lead the overnight service, making sure young people experience safety, consistency and support when they need it most.

You’ll work with a high level of independence, while knowing when to liaise with the on-call manager, emergency services or wider management team to keep young people, staff and the building safe.
This is also a role about connection. - You communicate clearly and confidently, with strong records, handovers and partnership working that help keep support joined up across day and night.
About us:
We’re London’s leading homelessness charity – and we get things done.
In a city where hundreds are forced into homelessness every day, our work has never been more needed or more challenging. And we’re not shying away. We’re rolling up our sleeves to make change and helping over 10,000 Londoners every year. The Policy and Practice Officer will work collaboratively with public and third sector stakeholders and the Carers Trust team to lead the delivery of a three-year programme focused on improving support for older carers of people living with dementia. This includes engaging with regional Dementia Strategy Groups, influencing national policy, and facilitating knowledge exchange across health, social care, and third sector organisations.
This role is central to advancing our mission by amplifying the voices of unpaid carers, ensuring their experiences shape policy and practice, and strengthening the visibility and accessibility of carer support services across Wales. By embedding Carers Trust Wales in strategic conversations and promoting good practice, the postholder will help drive meaningful change for carers of people with dementia—many of whom are older, isolated, and under-recognised. Working across three mental health accommodation services in Camden and Barnet, you’ll be a central point of support for managers and colleagues. Although you’ll work behind the scenes, the people living in our services will remain at the heart of what you do; because accurate records, well managed repairs and responsive administration all contribute to residents receiving safe, consistent and high quality support.
Your day to day work will be varied. You’ll keep databases accurate, coordinate meetings and staff rotas, prepare reports and help services stay on top of key deadlines and compliance checks. You’ll monitor rents, Housing Benefit and service charges; process invoices and petty cash; track repairs, referrals and empty rooms; check tenancy documentation; and maintain clear, accurate spreadsheets and reports.
This is a role where strong administration has a visible impact. By keeping information accurate, spotting issues early and bringing order to competing priorities, you’ll help create safe and effective services that residents and staff can rely on. You’ll join a supportive organisation where you can strengthen your skills, take on new challenges and continue developing your career.
The postholder will be expected to work across all three sites, spending part of their working time at each location. There may also be some opportunity to work from home, depending on service needs and the tasks being completed.
About you:
- You’re a natural organiser who enjoys bringing structure to busy services and making sure important details never get missed.
- You’re confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and can turn data from spreadsheets and systems into clear, useful reports.
- You communicate warmly and professionally with residents, colleagues and external partners, even when priorities are moving quickly.
- You take ownership of your workload, balance competing deadlines and spot what needs following up before it becomes a problem.
- You understand that accurate, confidential and responsive administration plays a vital role in helping residents receive safe, consistent and high-quality support

About the role:
Real change rarely happens in a straight line. At our Ashley Road project, you’ll work alongside people who have experienced homelessness, trauma and multiple disadvantage, offering the consistency, practical support and belief that can help them begin moving forward.
As a Project Worker, you’ll hold a caseload and build purposeful, trusting relationships with clients. You’ll complete assessments, develop person-centred support and safety plans, and help people identify goals that feel meaningful and achievable to them. This could include supporting someone to improve their health, address substance use, manage their accommodation, strengthen their daily living skills or reconnect with services and opportunities in their community.
You’ll be there when situations become challenging, responding calmly to risk, safeguarding concerns and periods of crisis while continuing to recognise each person’s strengths and potential. Working closely with colleagues and external partners, you’ll advocate for clients, coordinate joined-up support and help remove the barriers that have previously prevented them from accessing the help they need.
This is a hands-on and varied role where no two days will look the same. Alongside direct support, you’ll contribute to the safe and effective running of the accommodation, maintain clear and accurate records and help create an environment where clients are treated with dignity, respect and hope. You’ll also receive ongoing training, reflective practice and development opportunities to strengthen your skills and build your future career within SHP.
The working rota for this post is Monday - Friday, with no weekend shifts. The rota will consist of a mixture of earlies (8am - 3.30pm) & lates (3pm - 10.30pm).
About you:
- You know how to meet people where they are, building trust with people who may be facing homelessness, mental health challenges, substance use, trauma or other complex needs.
- You bring patience, creativity and warmth to your work, especially when someone has been let down by services before or needs time to feel safe accepting support.
- You’re confident holding a caseload, but you never lose sight of the person behind the support plan — their strengths, choices, goals and hopes for the future.
- You understand that progress rarely happens through one service alone, and you’re ready to work closely with health, social care, housing and criminal justice partners to help people get the right support.
- You believe recovery looks different for everyone, and you’re motivated by helping people build confidence, independence and a more stable life at their own pace.
About us:
We’re London’s leading homelessness charity – and we get things done.
In a city where hundreds are forced into homelessness every day, our work has never been more needed or more challenging. And we’re not shying away. We’re rolling up our sleeves to make change and helping over 10,000 Londoners every year. We prevent homelessness, provide safe places to live and give people the opportunity to rebuild their lives and transform their futures. And we never give up.
We’re here for Londoners wherever they are on their journey. We start with trust, building relationships that help people feel safe, supported, and ready to move forward. Every day, we put people first in everything we do, challenging injustice and barriers that keep people from the safety, stability and opportunity they deserve. We stand alongside people as they rebuild and shape a future that feels their own.
Joining Single Homeless Project means joining a team that’s bold, compassionate and determined to do better for the people we support and for each other. You’ll work alongside colleagues with lived experience, in a space that’s trans-inclusive, disability-friendly, and actively striving to be anti-oppressive and equitable.
We’re not perfect, but we’re real. We listen. We learn. And we push forward, together. Because this isn’t just a job. It’s a chance to lead with empathy, spark change, and help build a London where no one is left behind.
