We are now looking for a Network Services and Data Manager to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 37.5 hours per week.

We're looking for a Tenancy Sustainment & Community Progression Coordinator to support people as they make the transition from homelessness into accommodation. They provide practical guidance and motivational support to help people manage their tenancies and settle into a new community. The Coordinator supports housed clients to resolve problems so that repeat homelessness is prevented. They also connect people using Catching Lives’ services to community activities or groups, and enable access to employment, training, education and volunteering opportunities so that people improve their skills, confidence, social connection and well-being.

Key responsibilities

Tenancy Sustainment

• In conjunction with the Manager and Senior Project Worker, assess and prioritise the need for tenancy support on a case-by-case basis.
• Meet people in the day centre before they move into a tenancy.
• Visit clients in their homes and in community locations to provide practical and motivational support to sustain tenancies and prevent repeat homelessness.
• Share practical skills and guidance to support tenants e.g. paying bills, reporting disrepair, choosing furniture etc.
• Help people get to know their neighbourhood e.g. visiting a local café, GP etc.
• Problem-solve with individuals to overcome challenges or concerns.
• Liaise with other agencies e.g. councils, landlords, social services, housing associations, maintenance contractors to help people sustain their tenancies.
• Apply for individual grants or provide direct support through Catching Lives’ tenancy sustainment budget for specific items e.g. household starter packs.
• Keep accurate records of tenancy sustainment actions and outcomes.
• Make appropriate use of technology provided by Catching Lives e.g. alert systems for checking in and out when lone working.

Community progression

• In conjunction with colleagues, identify people who want to access community activities, education, training, employment or volunteering.
• Make plans on a case-by-case basis, led by the client.
• Develop external relationships and establish referral pathways/signposting to local partners e.g. employment, education, training, volunteering.
• Identify community groups/activities and share relevant information with clients.
• Accompany clients e.g. to open days, taster sessions, course registration.
• Keep accurate records of community progression actions and outcomes.

Working at Catching Lives

Catching Lives is a community charity, currently staffed by a team of 10. We’re in the process of expanding with current recruitment, so that we can introduce community-based support alongside strengthening our core day centre offer.

The successful candidate will complete a structured induction that includes shadowing colleagues and visiting local services. Staff typically attend weekly team meetings on Wednesday afternoons, as well as having regular 1-1s with their line manager, and there is confidential access to an employee assistance scheme. The day centre offers free tea and coffee throughout the working day. As well as core training for new starters, there are ongoing training and development opportunities.

We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome thousands of animals each year, and are now seeking an experienced, practical leader to guide our next chapter. You will build on our legacy, strengthening our foundations and securing our long-term sustainability. This role is for someone who can help us grow our reputation while giving our staff and volunteers the support they need to continue providing the best possible care for our animals. 

What will you be doing?

You will guide the charity's strategy and drive a period of transformation, ensuring our operations are effective, fully compliant, and set up for long-term sustainability. Your leadership is about ensuring that our strategy, finances, and operations all serve to give our animals the best possible chance of recovery and a loving, forever home. 

To achieve this, the role is structured around three key areas of focus:

Strategy, Governance and Compliance

• Work with the Board of Trustees to develop and deliver a strategic vision with animal welfare at its heart.

• Provide the Board of Trustees with accurate, timely, and insightful reports on risk management and performance. These updates will ensure the Board has the clear visibility they need for effective oversight and strategic planning.

• Champion a culture of transparency, accountability, and excellence in governance. Build strong, positive relationships with our regulators and key partners, including contributing to our statutory and regulatory filings to ensure we maintain full compliance with all external obligations.

• Lead the development of our internal policies and processes, ensuring every policy and process is fit-for-purpose, compliant with regulatory expectations and the highest standards of animal welfare, and are regularly reviewed to help the team work safely and effectively.

• Ensure strict adherence to all animal welfare legislation, Charity Commission standards, and sector best practices, maintaining the reliable framework our team needs to focus on the animals in our care.

• Proactively monitor and adapt to evolving Welsh animal rescue licensing regulations, ensuring our practices always reflect the highest welfare standards in Wales.

Financial Strategy and Sustainability

• Work with the Board of Trustees to develop and implement a financial strategy that puts the controls and oversight in place to secure our future and direct resources to where our animals need them most.

• Foster an inclusive and supportive culture while providing strategic oversight of the modernisation of our HR practices, digital systems, and infrastructure. • Act as the charity’s lead ambassador, building relationships with the press, local authorities, other neighbouring and notable charities, and animal welfare professionals to enhance our external reputation. 

• Oversee our operational planning, including the day-to-day management of staffing rotas and fleet resources. Provide direct line management to the senior leadership team, making sure everyone has the support they need to work effectively.

• Monitor the rescue, and report to the Board of Trustees on core operational performance, including intake-to-rehoming metrics, fostering network capacity, and clinical standards to provide clear visibility on the welfare outcomes we achieve.

• Lead the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across operational activity, ensuring consistent service levels and adherence to regulatory and best practice standards, to ensure our animals receive the highest standards of care.

• Direct all physical site operations, planned maintenance, and infrastructure improvements, ensuring all premises are safe, efficient, and fit for purpose.

• Manage charity risk, including contributing to the risk register, site-wide health and safety audits, staff and volunteer training, and carrying out robust assessment and management of operational risks.

Time Commitment

• Hours: This is a full-time role. It requires flexibility to meet the needs of the charity, including occasional evening and weekend work.

• Location: This is primarily an on-site role, based at the rescue centre in Carmarthenshire, Wales to provide visible leadership. There is some ability to work from home for some tasks, and permanent on-site accommodation may be available if required.

• Nature of the Role: As the lead for both strategic direction and operational stability, the role requires availability to respond to urgent operational matters.

About the Service Solace has launched a new five-year fundraising strategy, with plans to double fundraised income to £3m by 2031. The Fundraising Team sits within our Business Development Directorate alongside Communications, Partnerships and Public Affairs. About You

You will be collaborative, creative and solution-focused with the ability to support an unrestricted fundraising strategy that drives income generation through our External Training and Consultancy Function and through identifying and fostering productive partnerships with corporate organisations.

With a knowledge and an understanding of corporate fundraising, sales, customer service and campaigns and ideally some experience of the statutory sector, you will support fundraising initiatives to develop Solace’s External Training and Consultancy Function and Solace’s Corporate Partnership Programme. The successful post holder must have:

· Good standard of basic education, including English and Maths Level 2

The Fundraising and Communications Officer plays a vital and diverse role in the success of the Fundraising and Communications Directorate and London Youth as a whole. As well as taking on your own specific projects, you will offer support to the wider Fundraising and Communications Directorate across events, different income streams, and communications projects as we work to achieve our targets in excess of £3.6m. What you will be doing

• Support the Corporate Partnerships Account Manager to deliver challenging events, digital fundraising and volunteering. 
• Support the Fundraising and Communications directorate in the development and delivery of events, including the London Youth Awards, site visits, lunch and learns, Born Ambitious, and the AGM. 
• Support the Fundraising and Communications directorate in the development and implementation of a new income stream. 
• Support the Communications team on the development and delivery of on and offline communications assets. 
• Be the first point of contact for all fundraising and communications enquiries. 
• Collaborate with the Communications team to ensure all pages on our website are up to date, accurate and compelling, and position our charity as a credible partner of funders. 
• Undertake research on behalf of the Fundraising and Communications teams as appropriate. 
• Provide essential administrative support to the Fundraising and Communications Directorate. 
• Ensure all information is recorded in an accurate and timely manner across all relevant systems and in line with relevant processes and procedures, including Salesforce and Sharepoint.

The Belay Foundation supports adoptive, kinship and special guardianship families raising children who have experienced early developmental trauma, often alongside neurodiversity.
