Job Title: Area Manager
Location: Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) managing a range of services dispersed throughout the area, in which travel will be required. Unfortunately some sites including the base office does not have step free access
Salary: £45,000
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00. You may be required to work outside these hours as per service and resident requirements, which also includes forming part of the managers out of hours on call rota.
This role requires a minimum of 4 days in the office per week.
About the Role
We are seeking an Area Manager to lead our Complex needs service which is based across Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. You will be responsible for managing Service Managers across the area. The service is dispersed into several accommodations with around 153 residents in total. The residents in our services are those who have experienced homelessness and have face challenges such as mental health, substance use or have an offending background.
In this role, you will lead the team with overall leadership to support, enable, and empower your team to deliver high quality support to our residents. You will drive service outcomes in line with contractual requirements, ensuring quality and consistency within a trauma and psychologically informed environment. You will ensure the services run smoothly in collaboration with the team, wider teams, and external partners. We're looking for someone who is solution focused, has experience within a similar service environment, and can create a safe space for individuals to learn, and grow.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Monitor and analyse service performance data and key performance indicators
- Line management and leadership, offering guidance and support throughout the employee lifecycle, fostering a supportive leadership culture focused on staff wellbeing, learning, and development
- Encourage productivity, engagement, and wellbeing of the team through regular check-ins, training, meetings, and supervisions.
- Support with day to day tasks within the service, supporting the team to deliver the best possible outcomes with their residents
- Lead the day to day operational delivery of the service.
- Risk Management ownership, ensuring processes and policies are followed.
- Property and housing management, ensuring accommodation standards, timely maintenance and reporting.
- Striving to ensure excellence and quality in our service delivery.
- Financial Management of service budget with cost saving mechanisms.
About You

You will be a proactive leader, with the ability to motivate and empower a team to drive excellence, both as individuals, and as a team, whilst providing practical solutions to challenges which arise. You will be knowledgeable of the different types of complex needs and different support needs of our residents. We're looking for someone who can build rapport, trust, and create an environment which allows individuals to grow their skills and experience and develop as individuals.
- Previous leadership experience, and ability to take responsibility for the full service, ensuring service outcomes, KPI's and requirements are met.
- Demonstratable experience in leading a service/team in a similar capacity.
- Previous experience in supported housing, homelessness, complex needs, mental health, social care, or substance use services
- Ability to provide high quality support and line management to staff.
- Ability to motivate and empower a team to achieve KPI's
- Ability to provide advice, guidance, and support to the team on all aspects of service delivery including resident related queries
- Ability to promote the service externally to enhance reputation in the area and with partner organisations
- Ability to work flexibly to meet the demands and needs of the service. For example, Provide an emergency on call service as and when required in case of emergency
- IT proficiency - we use various systems so look for someone who can learn and navigate new systems including case management, Microsoft, ATS, HR systems, and other types of organisational software.

This role oversees the execution of all annual, capital, and project-based mass appeals across print, digital, and telephone channels. By driving these multi-channel campaigns, the position actively engages Upper and Prep school constituencies, including current and former parents, Prep families, and alumni (Latymerians).

Key Responsibilities Include:

We are seeking a Field Supervisor to support the Service Manager and Deputy Service Managers in leading our ECCS (Equinox Community Care Support) which is based in Brighton and Hove with some home working and central office days in Islington. The service supports people with mental health issues, addiction, exploitation, homelessness and within the criminal justice system. We are looking for a Field Supervisor to lead a team who are dedicated and focused to providing support to our participants within the community. The team provide person centred care and support to our participants within the community, homes, and residential properties. The team support our participants to achieve greater independence, providing effective outreach support to vulnerable adults to assist with tenancy sustainment, independent living, and promoting self reliance.
You will provide leadership to your team so they feel empowered to be productive and perform well within their roles. You will work alongside the Service Manager to deliver the highest standards of service quality, performance, and improvements across your service(s). You will be responsible for ensuring full contract and regulatory compliance is completed, and support the Service Manager in the implementation and delivery of service monitoring and development.

The role
As Director of Care, you will have overall responsibility for the leadership, management, quality and performance of our care services.
You will:
- Provide strong, visible and inspirational clinical leadership across all care services.

About you
We are looking for an exceptional clinical leader who combines strategic vision with strong operational management and a genuine passion for children's palliative care.
You will be a registered nurse with significant experience in paediatric palliative care and senior-level leadership experience. You will have a strong understanding of clinical governance, CQC requirements, PSIRF and safeguarding, together with experience of leading service development and change.
You will bring:
- NMC registration as a Children's or Adult Nurse.
- Significant experience of palliative paediatric nursing.
- Senior-level experience of management, strategic thinking and service development.
- Experience of CQC compliance, clinical governance, PSIRF and safeguarding.
- Strong financial and budgetary understanding.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to communicate complex and sensitive information to a wide range of audiences.

- A Master's-level qualification in a relevant health or leadership subject is desirable.

We're hiring a Housing Support Worker to join our team based in Brent. In this role, you will support participants who have been or are at risk of homelessness, experienced social exclusion, mental health challenges, substance use challenges, learning disabilities and/or may have previous convictions. You will support participants on their journey towards recovery, reablement, and independence within a compassionate and trauma informed environment.
In this role, you'll be at the heart of delivering high quality, person centered support through tailored support plans which provide practical interventions, to empower our participants to overcome personal challenges, develop life skills, and achieve their personal goals. You will also work closely in partnership with various organisations to support the different needs of our participants, which may include signposting. Join us on the journey to empowering people to be the best versions of themselves!
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Support residents who may be facing challenges with their housing and long-term living
- Co-create tailored support plans through one to one sessions, group sessions, and multi agency meetings
- Support residents to build skills and confidence to build confidence to move towards independent living
- Signpost participants with local providers to support with their independence such as with Job Centres, employment support hubs, community support centres, mental health trusts and other as relevant.
- Lone working is part of the role, but you’ll always have a supportive team around
- Recognise support needs in an individual and initiate appropriate interventions to prevent further deterioration.
- Complete safeguarding and other referrals where required.
- Keep support plans updated on our online portals as appropriate
About You

What are we looking for?
- Experience working with vulnerable adults, addiction recovery, rehabilitation, social care, housing or related services.
- Understanding of the challenges faced by people recovering from addiction.
- Strong organisational, administration and record-keeping skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build positive, professional relationships with residents and external agencies.
- Experience of care planning, risk assessment or keyworking is desirable.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good boundaries, conflict management and problem-solving skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and case management systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Demonstrated commitment to the Christian faith, ability to encourage others in their faith and able to support the Yeldall Basis of Faith, Ethos Statement and values.
