We are looking for a strategic leader to join us as Director of Property Services. As a housing association and homelessness charity, our ambition is to end homelessness for good. Providing safe, comfortable and sustainable homes is key to helping people rebuild their lives, and our Property Services teams play a vital role in making this happen.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary team with strategic oversight of repairs, fire and building safety, landlord compliance, sustainability, reinvestment and housing services. You would be responsible for a mixed portfolio of buildings (owned and leased) that range from big hostels to self-contained flats, including some more quirky buildings like a converted church, ensuring throughout that St Mungo’s, as a registered social landlord, meets all its regulatory obligations. As part of the senior leadership team, you will:

• Lead, develop and manage St Mungo’s Property and Housing Services functions, embedding a culture of excellent customer service and compliance.
• Shape and deliver investment to meet resident priorities now and in the future, ensuring homes are safe, compliant and aligned with new and emerging regulation.
• Drive continuous improvement across property services while managing risk so our asset portfolio is safe, compliant and performing well.
• Develop and deliver key organisational strategies and programmes, including Asset Management, Environmental Sustainability, St Mungo’s Homes Standard, Decent Homes, Warm Homes and Building Safety.
• Build strong delivery partnerships that provide high quality, customer focused services and deliver value for money.
• Work closely with the Executive Director of Client Services and Service Directors to deliver an integrated Supported Housing Service that meets residents’ housing and support needs.

CXK is the lead provider of Personal Careers Guidance to young people in schools and specialist centres across Kent & Medway, where we provide independent Personal Careers Guidance, via our CXK Young Peoples’ Careers Service.

The Team

We are a diverse and welcoming team of advisers, who use a wide variety of creative methods to deliver personalised, client centred, personal careers guidance, ranging from one-to-one sessions through to group guidance, parents and options evenings, as well as focused talks and assemblies. We have minimal admin and keep our clients’ experience central to what we do, providing an inclusive service with individualised action plans, including the use of visual career maps, career cards and white boards, alongside more traditional approaches where appropriate.

The team is led by Chris Targett RCDP, who alongside his work at CXK, is the current Chair of the Careers Writers Association and co-author of the recently released Career Development and Inclusive Practice book, published by Trotman Publishing in partnership with the CDI.

The Role

The Careers Adviser will travel across Kent, Medway, West Kent and Mid Kent Regions to a broad range of school and college settings, delivering creative and inclusive Personal Careers Guidance, as well as assemblies and drop-in sessions as required. 

Each student and each learning environment will be unique, so the opportunity lends itself well to candidates who enjoy traveling and working in varied locations, meeting people from diverse backgrounds, and educating people of all abilities.

You will routinely liaise with Careers Leaders and senior school/ college staff to arrange and deliver activities for students during the school day. Whilst most delivery will take place between 8:30am and 4pm, travel before and after these times will be required and occasional attendance at parents’ and options evenings will also be required, but you will be given time off in lieu where this is applicable.

We would require you to work five days-a-week, term time only, with a pro rata holiday entitlement. If you would prefer part-time only employment (minimum of three days a week), this can be negotiated.

As Treasury Manager at Alzheimer's Society, you'll ensure we can confidently meet our commitments to people affected by dementia by managing our cash flow, income streams, and reserves effectively.

About the opportunity

As Treasury Manager within our Finance & Assurance directorate, you'll own our Treasury and Accounts Receivable functions, playing a vital role in our financial sustainability. You'll monitor our cash position, forecast cash flow across diverse income streams from online fundraising platforms to direct donations and community collections, and manage banking relationships to ensure we optimise our working capital and invest our reserves wisely.

This isn't a back-office role. You'll be a highly visible partner to budget holders and business partners across the organisation, providing the treasury insights that enable confident financial planning and investment. Black Thrive Global evolved from the work of the Black Thrive Lambeth Partnership, which was established in 2016 to address the inequalities that negatively impact the mental health and wellbeing of Black people. Black Thrive Lambeth – Communities Workstream Overview

The Communities Workstream sits at the heart of Black Thrive Lambeth’s model and is the primary mechanism through which the organisation remains deeply connected to Black residents across the borough. Covering communities from Waterloo to Central Hill Estate, the workstream focuses on Black adults and their wellbeing, ensuring that lived experience directly informs strategy, systems change, and service design.

This workstream is responsible for building, maintaining, and nurturing relationships at grassroots level—with residents, community leaders, and Black-led organisations doing vital work across Lambeth. It acts as a bridge between community insight and institutional decision-making, ensuring that Black voices are not only heard but embedded within policy and practice.

The Communities Workstream plays a critical role in:

· Creating and holding trusted community spaces for dialogue, healing, and collective action

· Supporting community-led initiatives and amplifying grassroots leadership

· Facilitating co-production between residents and statutory partners

· Translating community priorities into practical recommendations for systems change

The workstream also underpins Black Thrive Lambeth’s strong relationships with Lambeth Council and other statutory partners, providing a credible, community-informed route for collaboration and influence. Through this role, the Communities Workstream ensures Black Thrive Lambeth remains accountable to the people it exists to serve, while driving long-term improvements in wellbeing, equity, and outcomes for Black communities in Lambeth.

To support the Black Thrive Lambeth Communities workstream in engaging with Black community members in the boroughs of Black Thrive Lambeth.

The long-term ambition of the Communities workstream is to liaise with Black communities and other stakeholders involved in the delivery of Black Thrive’s Thriving Futures – Scaling Systems Change programme. 

The immediate priority for the role is to identify the people and resources that can support the development of the Communities workstream in Lambeth. This role will work closely with those involved in the Black Thrive Thriving Futures programme and will have a wide range of responsibilities from communications activities, event management to research and administration.

1. Support the Black Thrive LambethLocality Lead in delivering the outputs of Black Thrive’s Thriving Futures – Scaling Systems Change programme and other related activities to achieve programme objectives and milestones.

2. Engage and collaborate with Thriving Futures Collective partners across Haringey, Birmingham, Wales, and Scotland, sharing learning and best practices from community project delivery in Lambeth.

3. Build and maintain strong relationships with Black Thrive Lambeth Black communities by designing, managing, and updating databases to support engagement with community members, partners, contractors, and stakeholders.

4. Maintain Black Thrive’s internal systems to ensure the efficient delivery of the Thriving Futures workstream.

5. Work with the Locality Lead to strengthen engagement with the local community and Black-led voluntary sector in Lambeth.

6. Contribute to research and learning by collaborating with the Black Thrive Global Research Institute to aid in collecting and reporting quantitative and qualitative data that informs programme delivery and impact.

8. Lead on creating engaging content, including blog posts and digital communications, to effectively promote Black Thrive’s work across internal and external channels.

10.  Ensure compliance with legislation and organisational policies, including equality, safeguarding, health and safety, data protection, and financial governance.

Personal Specification

The Role

As a Stop Smoking Specialist, you will help to deliver our stop smoking service and underpin our commitment to support people to stop smoking and reduce the risk of cancer. You will provide specialist advice and support to our service users around tobacco addiction and provide evidence-based approaches in line with national guidance and good practice to help them to quit smoking.

Supporting the Services Manager and Head of Services, you will be vital in the implementation of our strategy to ensure people in Yorkshire receive the best prevention, diagnosis and treatment. You will deliver evidence-based stop smoking interventions to patients referred into the service, providing support, advice and guidance either face to face, virtually or by telephone to maximise quitting outcomes. You will work as part of a team to respond to referrals and work  with our Active Together Services, which are being rolled out across Yorkshire, and NHS Trusts where we fund in patient smoking cessation programmes.

Specifically, you will:

· Autonomously deliver smoking cessation assessments, advice and support, minimising harm from tobacco and health-related issues in line with best guidance and protocols.

· Undertake client assessments, making appropriate pharmacotherapy decisions, provide ongoing client support and undertake 4 and 12 week follow-ups.

· Advise on stop smoking medications to patients, including all forms of NRT, vapes (e.cigarettes) as well as non-nicotine treatments.

· Manage a stock of NRT and Vaping Starter kits.

· Help patients who smoke to quit, communicating in a sensitive, client centred manner. 

· Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of the service, including the completion of the minimum data set aligned to NHS England mandatory requirements. This will include following up with patients following discharge to monitor stop smoking outcomes.

· Manage caseload of patients and be responsible for all associated tasks, including follow-up appointments, and managing diary commitments.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

· To be educated to GCSE (or equivalent) grade C or above in English and Maths.

· To be National Centre for Smoking Cessation Training (NCSCT) Level 2 trained.

· To have demonstrable evidence of continuing professional development.

· To have intermediate theoretical knowledge of stop smoking support, gained through Level 2 NCSCT.

· To have substantial experience of providing smoking cessation support in a stop smoking service with good levels of quit rates.

Migrant Democracy Project’s office is in Vauxhall, London. Staff have daily access to the office and the team co-works from there regularly. This role can be done remotely, however, we expect the role-holder to join the team in-person for strategy days which happen every few months.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a strategic Operations and Fundraising Manager who can skillfully identify the organisational and team needs and can propose and implement solutions, ranging from project management tools, HR systems, and other systems tools. The ideal candidate will be scanning the horizon, ensuring the organisation has the appropriate policies and thinking long-term about its financial and organisational needs.

Lead the Operational Management of Migrant Democracy Project

• Review existing operational policies and procedures, identify improvements and updates, and implement them to ensure the smooth running of Migrant Democracy Project.

• Lead the development and implementation of operational infrastructure, including systems for project management to ensure efficient progress of the organisation’s objectives.

• Ensure Migrant Democracy Project is in compliance with relevant policies, including data privacy, safeguarding, risk register, and others and support the team in implementing them.

Lead on People Management and Recruitment

• Implement and manage all people and culture functions and internal processes including systems for leave, TOIL, employment contracts, and other identified needs.

• Support the Executive Director with recruitment processes, such as job vacancy promotion, sifting application forms and booking interviews.

We are looking for an Income Recovery and Enforcement Officer to join an Income Management Team, this is an exciting opportunity to play a specialist role in managing legal action, protecting income and supporting residents to resolve arrears.

Position: Income Recovery and Enforcement Officer
Location: Stratford, London or Trafford, Manchester with hybrid working (20 to 40% office based)
Salary: £32,881 per annum (London weighted) or £28,886 per annum (Regional)
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

The Role

This is a specialist, enforcement focused role where you will manage a portfolio of accounts already subject to legal action. You will take ownership of cases from preparing court paperwork through to eviction where required, making confident decisions that directly shape outcomes for residents and the organisation.

You will represent the organisation in court on occasion and act as the main point of contact for external legal advocates. This is a fast paced, target driven role, balancing firm enforcement with compassionate customer service, helping residents get back on track while safeguarding the organisation’s ability to invest in homes and communities.

You will:

• Manage a caseload across all legal stages of the arrears lifecycle, including preparing and presenting cases in court and progressing to eviction where required
• Act as the main point of contact with external legal advocates representing the organisation
• Prepare witness statements and court documentation to secure successful outcomes
• Take confident decisions on enforcement action, balancing risk and customer impact
• Handle high volumes of customer contact while working to call and case management targets
• Provide advice and signposting to help residents maximise income and sustain tenancies
• Work collaboratively with Housing, Finance and Legal teams to ensure a joined up approach

About You

We are seeking a confident and resilient professional with experience of housing arrears recovery and legal enforcement.

You will bring:

• Proven experience in housing arrears recovery and enforcement, including legal proceedings through to eviction
• Confidence in decision making and managing a fast paced workload
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle sensitive conversations
• Knowledge of welfare benefits and tenancy related arrears processes
• Excellent organisational, negotiation and influencing skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
