Salford CVS is recruiting a Volunteering Development Worker (Women and Girls in Football) to lead our work in increasing the participation of women and girls in off-pitch volunteering roles across grassroots football in Salford. This new role has been created in alignment with The FA’s priorities to strengthen inclusive volunteer pathways and ensure club and league environments are welcoming, supportive and accessible for female volunteers.
The main purpose of the post is to increase the number of female volunteers in off-pitch roles across grassroots football in Salford by supporting clubs, leagues, sessional football providers and community groups to create, promote and sustain inclusive volunteer opportunities. The role will coordinate learning and development for volunteers, help organisations understand their volunteer needs, and strengthen their capacity to recruit, retain and recognise women and girls in volunteering.
You will use Salford CVS’s established volunteering expertise to support England Accredited clubs, leagues and sessional football providers to attract, recruit and retain more female volunteers. This includes addressing known barriers such as lack of visible role models, sex-based discrimination, childcare demands that fall disproportionately on women, limited flexibility and traditional recruitment practices that may favour men.
Working in connection with our Volunteer Centre and wider Active Communities teams, you will join a service that already supports hundreds of organisations to develop safe and high-quality volunteering opportunities, matches hundreds of residents to roles, and delivers a wide range of volunteering training and good-practice guidance. You will also work closely with local partners, including Salford Community Leisure, GM Moving, Manchester FA and VCSE partners to ensure a coordinated and impactful approach.
The role will involve building strong relationships with clubs and leagues, engaging women and girls through targeted outreach in multiple settings (for example, community events, education environments, VCSE spaces, etc.), supporting grassroots clubs to understand their volunteer needs and barriers, and developing sustainable volunteer plans that help address these. You will deliver both FA and Salford CVS-designed training, increasing access to high-quality learning and development across the grassroots football ecosystem.
You will also connect to our wider engagement in the physical activity agenda in Salford, particularly the Place Partnership, a programme helping to lower barriers to physical activity and get Salford residents moving more.
Hours: 18 hours per week (excluding breaks), to be worked over 3–4 days.
Contract: Until 30th June 2028, subject to the successful completion of a 6-month probationary period.

The Development Manager plays a central part in enabling the Royal Court Theatre’s Development team to reach and grow ambitious fundraising targets for the charity’s mission.

St Giles is expanding its delivery of hospital-based projects; this service is aimed at vulnerable 10 to 25-year-olds who attend the adult or paediatric emergency department or Urgent Care Centre Whittington Hospital ED. We will work alongside hospital staff to proactively identify vulnerable young people and help them to access and engage the support they need to prevent any potential escalation of violence and reduce the risk of repeat victimisation or exploitation.
About this key role
You will be part of the Newham University Hospital Emergency Department Team meeting CYP (Children and Young People) at the point of presentation to the ED to offer support, with the aim to safeguard and reduce risk around the CYP. This support extends post-discharge from the ED or Hospital with our Caseworkers working with the CYP and the professional networks to ensure the CYP voice is front and centre, this is to support the betterment of the CYP and their future, as well as reducing risks. This is done through providing 121 support in formulating the support plan with the CYP. This can also include supporting the family and advocating for them and CYP within the wider professional network.

This is a new role within St Luke’s for Clergy Wellbeing created to strengthen and embed high-quality clinical practice across our services. We are looking for a Deputy Manager to support the Service Manager at Lillie Road, Talgarth Road & Shepherds House.
The H&F Supported Accommodation Pathway consists of supported accommodation for 129 clients across seven sites, including 24-hour staffed complex needs hostels and semi-independent services.
The semi‑independent accommodation services in Hammersmith & Fulham provide safe, supportive housing for clients with low to medium support needs, across three separate sites, working with some of the most well‑known and vulnerable clients in the borough, using psychologically informed and trauma‑informed approaches to help people build stability, develop independence, and make meaningful progress in their lives.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to step up, gain experience across multiple sites, and play a key role in shaping positive outcomes for clients. You will work closely with the Service Manager to ensure that each service operates safely, smoothly and consistently, and that clients receive high‑quality, trauma‑informed support.

Support Coordinator
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Haringey Team in London.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following a stroke.
Position: S11352 Stroke Support Coordinator
Location: Home-based, Haringey. However, regular travel will be required as part of this role (will include team meetings or other work-related meetings)
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week

The Role
Reporting to Service Delivery Coach, key responsibilities will include:
- Organise and facilitate effective service communication for the benefit of stroke survivors and carers in understanding and achieving their goals.
- Ensure that timely, confidential and accurate records are kept on the CRM data base and all data is in line with the retention policy and GDPR compliant.
- Develop and manage service volunteers to support service delivery for stroke survivors and carers as required.
About You
You will have experience in:
- Providing person centred support to empower vulnerable people or people with a disability or long-term health condition and their carers
- Nurturing emotional resilience needed to handle a variety of calls, potentially dealing with complex and challenging situations whilst working in your own home
- Effective listening skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a diverse audience including anyone experiencing communication difficulties via a combination of face-to-face visits or meetings, telephone calls, emails or letters, and digital methods (such as video calls)
This role requires regular travel across a large geographical locality to visit people at home and in community settings. Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they can meet this requirement of the role.

The Southwark Street Population Outreach Team (SPOT) is looking for a committed individual to join our street outreach team tasked with reducing rough sleeping across Southwark.
This role is both challenging and rewarding. It would suit an experienced worker who wants the autonomy and flexibility to find creative solutions, or someone looking for a development opportunity who is keen to learn outreach skills and work with clients at a point where their need is acute.
You will be expected to work with clients in a variety of settings. As part of the Outreach Team, you will be required to work some shifts starting at 6am and others finishing at 2am plus occasional weekends depending on the needs of the service.
In this role you will:
- Conduct outreach alongside a range of partners and proactively assess those found sleeping rough to rapidly access housing, health services and treatment.
- Manage a caseload of clients experiencing multiple disadvantages where there are significant barriers to accessing accommodation and services, requiring relationship building and a thoughtful approach to incremental change.
- Work with a truly diverse group of clients, supporting them to make meaningful and lasting changes to their lives.
- Work from a variety of settings with clients, from the street to local day centres and the weekly Pilgrim's Rest, run by SPOT, from partners offices such to courts, tribunals and job centres.
You will receive an additional 20% pay premium for hours worked between 8pm and 8am Monday to Friday and for all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday
About you
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator who can engage clients in a range of settings. You will be adaptable when facing communication challenges such as language barriers, cultural differences or working with people who are neuro-diverse. This includes the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and accessible way.
You will have some experience of client case management, resilience to achieve agreed outcomes and the ability to work remotely and lone work with vulnerable people.
Holding a UK driving licence would be beneficial but is not essential.
