About the role
The Learning Officer plays a key role in making sure evidence on how our homes and communities can become better places to age in is spread across the UK.
This role primarily works with the UK Network of Age-friendly Communities, a network of over 110 communities, led mostly by local authorities, VCSE organisations. This network is part of a global movement and is affiliated to the World Health Organisation.

Redemption Roasters is currently seeking a Head of Impact to lead their work to reduce reoffending. The role is responsible for the company’s social mission, identifying effective and financially sustainable ways to deepen their impact through both their social enterprise and the Redemption Roasters Foundation. The Head of Impact will oversee training and employment support for programme participants in custody and in the community, whilst shaping the strategy for the Impact Department, ensuring programmes are well-run, measurable and financially disciplined. As an experienced facilities management leader, you will provide visible, site-based leadership, working closely with Centre Managers and senior stakeholders to ensure our estate is operationally effective, financially sustainable and capable of supporting both current needs and future ambitions. You will lead high-performing teams, manage significant operational and capital budgets, oversee refurbishment and infrastructure projects, and ensure the highest standards of safety, compliance, service quality and value for money across all estates and facilities functions.
