About the role

As Senior Face-to-Face Fundraising Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering our direct marketing strategy. You’ll deliver inspiring training presentations to our agency face-to-face fundraisers as well as cultivating our relationships with external agency partners.

You’ll be central in creating and developing our training materials, involving networking with our operational team of world class doctors and paramedics as well as our pilots and fire crew.

You’ll have an awareness of the fundraising regulations enabling you to effectively monitor and manage the day-to-day operations of our face-to-face fundraising campaigns, ensuring donor recruitment targets are met and to a high standard.

About the Role

• You'll be part of the Service Design & Innovation team and work alongside dedicated colleagues who are committed to improving support and outcomes for witnesses and victim/survivors across England and Wales. • The role is home-based with regular travel across England and Wales. Some evening or weekend work may be required.
• As the Coproduction Lead, you will play a pivotal role in creating a consistent, meaningful, and sustainable coproduction model across the Witness Service. You'll work closely with witnesses, frontline staff, volunteers and partners to build safe, supportive spaces where people feel empowered to share their ideas, experiences and insights.
• You will design and lead coproduction activities - from workshops to journey mapping, prototyping and collaborative design sessions - ensuring that witness experiences inform strategic and operational decision-making. You'll also support the embedding of service design and innovation principles into practice, helping shape the future of our services.

What You'll Do

• Lead the planning and delivery of coproduction activity across the Witness Service.
• Engage directly with witnesses to gather insights that drive service improvements.
• Produce high-quality outputs such as summaries, learning products, and design artefacts.
• Facilitate workshops, engagement groups and prototype testing sessions.

About you

You will be a qualified finance professional (CCAB or equivalent) with substantial post-qualification experience and a strong track record of leading finance teams. Strategic yet pragmatic, you will be comfortable operating at both operational and senior levels - providing clear financial insight, strengthening controls, and supporting organisational growth across a global network.

You will bring significant experience in UK financial reporting (FRS 102), alongside proven experience developing high-performing teams and implementing effective policies, systems, and change initiatives. With strong analytical and conceptual capability, you will translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insight. You will also have experience managing auditors, financial institutions, and external service providers, and be able to prioritise effectively, work autonomously, and deliver to deadlines.

Strong communication skills, sound judgement, and cultural sensitivity are essential in building effective relationships across diverse international contexts. Experience within a UK charity or multinational charitable context, including understanding of UK charity reporting (Charities SORP) would be highly desirable.

The British Academy – the UK’s national body for the humanities and social sciences - is seeking a Senior Policy Adviser to join our Public Policy Team. The role is crucial for the development and delivery of evidence-driven British Academy policy programmes on communities and social policy, using SHAPE research to impact policy outcomes that support the Academy’s and the Policy Directorate’s strategy.

The role

The British Academy’s public policy programmes explore domestic policy challenges that SHAPE research (Social sciences, Humanities and the Arts for People and the Economy/Environment), which can help policymakers to understand, reframe and find solutions. We work closely with our Fellows, alongside a diverse community of academics, experts, practitioners and importantly, policymakers. Our approach is focused on drawing together insights from SHAPE research and convening key figures to understand how these can be applied to policymaking. This gives us opportunities to bring fresh thinking to the most challenging issues, reframe debates, and develop new evidence-based solutions.

The Senior Policy Adviser will lead the delivery of evidence-driven policy programmes focused on communities and social infrastructure, with an opportunity at the outset to define the scope and strategy of these programmes. You will need understanding and knowledge of social policy, particularly areas of social policy relating to communities and civil society. You also need to be comfortable with bringing insights and analysis together and making new connections across policy themes to approach problems from a fresh perspective.

This is a varied role that requires ambition and confidence to engage with a wide variety of contributors to bring together the insights from our evidence base. You will have the ability to plan and deliver different types of activities: convening stakeholders, managing researchers, and collaborating with counterparts in academia and government.

You will be proactive and always looking for opportunities, using effective communication and developing or strengthening crucial relationships to extend the reach of our programme. The post holder will be acting as the health lead for Tower Hamlets SASS, a service which supports survivors of domestic and abuse in the borough.

As the IDVA (Hospital) you will lead on all health-related work within the SASS team. You will carry out risk and needs assessments, safety planning and support planning with survivors who present at the Royal London Hospital and advocate on their behalf. This role will be based within the Royal London and the SASS office.

About the Role

You will carry out risk and needs assessments, safety planning and support planning with survivors referred to the Royal London Hospital and other health services, and advocate on their behalf with external agencies. A key element of the role is training clinicians around domestic abuse awareness.

About You

You will receive training and support for this role as necessary.

Successful applicants will have in-depth knowledge of domestic abuse and its impact on women and children, experience of dynamic risk assessment and providing emotional and practical support to victims of VAWG.  As this is a pilot programme where the delivery model may change, a flexible and adaptive approach to your work is important as well as willingness to contribute to programme evaluation. 

A relevant qualification in VAWG is desirable.

What you will do

• Assist the Supporter Acquisition Manager in the planning and implementation of campaign activity, leading on assigned tasks and acting as the day-to-day contract for all internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Lead and project manage assigned supporter acquisition campaigns and relevant welcome journeys across a range of online and offline channels (including mailings, TV, press, inserts and digital).
• Assist the Supporter Acquisition Manager to generate insights and actionable recommendations to help the Individual Giving Unit to refine and optimise future acquisition appeals
• Assist with the planning and delivery of strategic projects aimed at enhancing the wider Individual Giving programme.
• Support with research, testing, roll out and monitoring of new product development.
• Gather and collate project information to ensure the team has a bank of compelling, emotive stories for use in future appeals.
• Be involved in the Individual Giving team’s wider work, including Supporter Retention and Experience.

The role

As a Trainer at Cruse Bereavement Support, you will play a key role in delivering and developing training for external organisations. You will equip employees, volunteers, and other stakeholders with the knowledge and skills to support bereaved individuals, including clients, employees, or community members.

You will deliver both scheduled and bespoke training sessions, adapting content to meet the needs of diverse audiences while maintaining alignment with Cruse’s values, safeguarding standards, and equality, diversity, and inclusion principles. The role includes supporting the development of new training content, digitisation of learning materials, and contributing to quality assurance processes including trainer observations and feedback review.
