Community Engagement Officer

Age UK East London is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Community Engagement Officer to support older people across Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Newham. This varied and rewarding role focuses on reducing social isolation, improving wellbeing and helping older people remain connected, active and independent within their communities.

Working as part of our Community Services team, you will deliver a range of activities, outreach sessions and engagement programmes that enable older people to build confidence, develop social connections and access the support they need. You will create welcoming and inclusive environments where older people feel valued, heard and able to participate fully in community life.
