Dementia Information & Advice Co-ordinator for Unpaid Carers
We are looking for a proactive, adaptable and resilient individual to join the team, to provide information, advice and emotional support to unpaid family and friend carers, as well as people living with dementia.
Working as part of a fast-paced service, you will be able to prioritise a varied workload, manage competing demands and multitask effectively while ensuring people receive a responsive and person-centred service. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and partner organisations to help carers and people living with dementia access the right support.
This post is hosted by Carers in Hertfordshire in partnership with Age UK. Experience of providing information, advice and emotional support is essential, and previous experience of working with carers and people affected by dementia is desirable. The role is primarily telephone and email based.
If you have excellent communication skills, can work effectively in a busy environment and are committed to helping carers and people living with dementia access the support they need, we would like to hear from you.
We aim to ensure that all carers in Hertfordshire are recognised and valued; are informed and supported in their caring role.
