PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Reporting to the Membership Manager, the Corporate Membership Officer – Commercial Relationships and Fulfilment will:

• Manage and grow relationships with corporate and university members.
• Drive new partnerships, membership sales, and sponsorship opportunities, with clear revenue targets, while maintaining strong long-term relationships with existing members.
• Identify and convert opportunities that enhance IWA’s profile and support membership growth.

This is a dynamic role for a confident, articulate account manager who thrives on building relationships. The successful candidate will combine strong customer service skills with proven B2B sales and account management experience, excellent time-management/organisation, cultural awareness and sensitivity when working across regions, and excellent communication abilities.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Account Management

• Act as the dedicated account manager for IWA’s portfolio of over 400 corporate and university members.
• Deliver expert advice, support, and engagement to maximise member value.
• Manage the end-to-end membership cycle (prospecting → onboarding → renewal), ensuring timely renewals and accurate CRM record-keeping.

Business Development

• Drive growth by identifying and securing new members, sponsors, and revenue opportunities.
• Own and report on a personal sales pipeline; meet or exceed agreed sales/retention targets.
• Upsell and cross-sell relevant services to both new and existing members.
• Promote IWA by developing a network of influential contacts within political, economic, social, and water sector communities.

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with internal stakeholders including membership engagement, marketing, and IT teams to deliver the corporate membership strategy.
• Manage member queries and administrative processes, including billing and invoicing coordination, in line with the company’s SLA guidelines.
• Ensure a seamless client journey from prospecting to onboarding and retention.
• Represent IWA at events (where required), both within the UK and internationally, to promote membership and build commercial relationships.

The above job description contains the main duties and responsibilities for this position, and the role is expected to be approximately 60% developing new business and 40% managing existing accounts.

REQUIRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Skills & Knowledge
The ideal candidate will:

• Be a persuasive communicator with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Have proven success in B2B new-business sales (meeting or exceeding targets) and account retention.
• Be an experienced account manager, confident in engaging senior business leaders.
• Demonstrate the ability to research, identify, and approach decision-makers independently.
• Bring marketing skills, with experience using diverse channels to attract and retain members.
• Have professional CRM experience (required), ideally with Salesforce (strongly preferred).
• Possess strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
• Show respect for cultural differences and the ability to work effectively with international stakeholders/time zones.
• Show creativity and analytical ability in problem-solving, with a practical, solutions-focused approach.
• Ideally, have experience within a membership body, or charity organisation.
• Proficiency in additional languages beyond English would be an asset.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in relevant areas (e.g., Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, International Relations).
• A Master’s degree in a similar area would be plus.
• Formal training and certification in sales and account management (preferably Salesforce Administrator) would be a strong benefit.

Experience Required

• 3+ years’ work experience in sales and account management.
• Experience working in membership associations and/or international organisations would be a strong benefit.

Role purpose 

We are seeking an organised, data-driven, and creative Senior Individual Giving Officer to support the delivery of high-quality fundraising campaigns that inspire new and existing supporters to give. You will play a key role in developing excellent supporter and stewardship journeys that encourage repeat gifts and maximise supporter lifetime value.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging direct marketing campaigns across print, digital and email channels, with a particular focus on one-off appeals, regular donations, and incentivised giving products. 

Working closely with the Marketing & Campaigns Manager and Marketing & Communications Officer, you will develop audience-led supporter journeys, compelling fundraising copy, and test-and-learn approaches to build lasting supporter relationships and grow income for Southampton Hospitals Charity.  You will also support budgeting and performance reporting, analysing campaign results to inform and optimise future activity. 

Key tasks and responsibilities  

Campaign development and delivery 

• Work with the Campaigns & Marketing Manager to plan and deliver a calendar of direct marketing campaigns across print, email, and digital, focused on income generation and donor retention. 

• Work with the Marketing and Communications Officer to develop compelling, supporter-centred fundraising copy for appeals, donation forms, landing pages, emails, and stewardship content. 

• Coordinate campaign production, from creative briefing to print and fulfilment, working with suppliers, designers, and mailing house partners as needed. 

• Lead on campaign timelines and ensure activity is delivered on time and within budget. 

• Work with colleagues across the charity to gather impactful case studies and project updates for use in donor communications.

Supporter journeys & stewardship 

• Develop and implement supporter journeys for new and existing individual givers, ensuring timely and relevant follow-ups to donations.

As a CRM Engineer at Cancer Research UK (CRUK) you will play an essential role in our migration from Sieble to Salesforce by helping to deliver specific packages of development for our Salesforce platform within one of our Technology product teams while running our CRM platform in production, in collaboration with the CRM support team.

Collaborating with other Engineers, Sieble Application Administrators, Product Managers, Testers, Agile Coaches, Architects, support engineers, end users, and Business Analysts you will adopt and ensure best practices while looking for new and improved approaches to technical challenges. You must be able to communicate with less technical colleagues from the wider charity in a language they can understand to help them convert business challenges into technical solutions.

A key part of the role is to keep the Salesforce system operational by managing administrative changes from both the development teams and support functions. This will involve maintaining and onboarding user profiles as the platform grows (we currently have 70 users, are onboarding 100 this quarter, and up to 500 in the first half of next year). You will also work to continually improve the accessibility, availability, performance, and security of our Salesforce products and environments.

Reporting to the Professional Conduct Manager, you will be crucial to the operation of the BAcC's disciplinary and professional health procedures. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Case Management & Panels: Assisting in the effective operation and management of Professional Conduct Panels (Investigating Panel, PCCP, Health Committee).
• Legal Liaison: Instructing and liaising with BAcC counsel and solicitors on complex disciplinary and fitness-to-practice matters.
• Policy & Codes: Drafting, researching, and updating the BAcC’s Professional Codes and Guidance Notes, ensuring they align with new legislation and best practices.
• Advising: Providing expert advice and support to the Professional Conduct Manager, Governing Board, and panels on regulatory matters and risk management.
• Public Protection: Handling and managing a varied caseload of complaints and concerns from patients and the public relating to issues such as boundary breaches, safe practice, and clinical competence.

About you (essential requirements)

We are looking for a candidate who is driven, analytical, and highly organised. You must be able to work autonomously and bring significant expertise in the following:

• Post-graduate Legal Qualification OR Extensive professional experience within a UK professional regulation environment (e.g., fitness to practice, professional conduct, ethics).
• Proven experience in advising or working directly with Panels/Committees in disciplinary or statutory proceedings.
• Strong understanding of legal principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to write clearly in plain English for guidance documents and reports.

This is a very important role in Refuge, which will make a real difference to the lives of the women and children that Refuge supports every day. Role overview

An exciting opportunity for a creative and highly motivated candidate with strong technical expertise to help increase Global Canopy's impact by making world-leading environmental and financial data more accessible to our key audiences in the finance sector, business and civil society. 

The role will focus on the DEFT Pathway and related products. DEFT is a transparent, easy-to-use framework that maps out practical steps for companies to transition to deforestation-free supply chains. Hosted by best-in-class data platform Forest IQ, DEFT Pathway helps financial institutions to engage effectively with companies on deforestation. 

A key objective is to make the DEFT Pathway data accessible by building user-friendly frontend components. The data is complex and multi-dimensional and will require considerable creativity to communicate in an understandable and compelling way in order to maximise its impact. You will collaborate with designers, researchers and product managers to fulfill these aims.

As a full stack developer, you will also design and implement the backend to allow the data powering the visualisations to be accessed in a secure way. You will work with data engineers and researchers to ensure the database is well-structured and that queries are performant.

The tech team is small, so you will need to operate with a high degree of independence, and will have the opportunity to influence key technical decisions. We are looking for someone who finds this prospect exciting rather than daunting! 

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, these are the things that will matter the most: 

• Excellent full stack web development skills, ideally using python and typescript
• Knowledge of python frameworks for the backend, such as FastAPI, Flask and/or Django
• Knowledge of javascript frameworks for the frontend (preferably React/Next.js), and common data visualisation libraries such as d3
• Experience querying PostgreSQL databases, potentially using SQLAlchemy as an ORM
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS

Essential behavioural competencies: 

• Self-starter, happy working in a small team with a large degree of independence
• A keen eye for quality, and an appreciation of the importance of automated testing
• A desire to follow industry standard software development processes

Desirable:

• 3+ years experience
• Experience using Agile project management methods and appreciation of the benefits of these
• Knowledge of the Corporate Performance domain

Salary: £60K full-time equivalent. This role sits within Band C on Global Canopy’s remuneration framework.
Nature of contract: Full time (37.5 hours) or part time (30 hours, 0.8 FTE). Fixed term for 21 months (approximately the end of 2027). We are a flexible employer and welcome candidates wishing to work flexibly.
Base: Our office is in Oxford, UK with flexible home-working arrangements in place.
