Role summary: 

We’re looking for an International Programmes & Partnerships Support Co-ordinator to support the growth of our programmes team and provide brilliant stewardship to all of our current funders. 

We are looking for someone ambitious, who enjoys building relationships, has excellent writing skills, and loves working as part of a busy team.

• Grow our grant income to support our range of exciting new projects 

• Develop new ways to articulate our ‘case for support’ to funders, as well as to show them the impact of their support on the lives of communities we serve; 

• Support the wider Islamic Help team to understand and engage with programmes, partnerships and fundraising, embedding it in the culture of the organisation.

 The Team: 

We have a Birmingham office and a London office. This role could be based in either office. If London-based, regular travel to Birmingham would be expected. 

The Role 

Key Responsibilities 

Grants Administration and Co-ordination 

• Support the Programme Development & Partnerships Manager in preparing, reviewing and documenting memoranda of understanding, agreements, agreement modifications according to the needs of Islamic Help. 

• Coordination of the due diligence process with partners. 

• Support the Programme Development & Partnerships Manager to develop, finalise and monitor partner funding. 

• Support the preparation and follow-up of grants opening meetings, monthly review meetings, and grant closing meetings. 

• Ensure that office grants are processed in a timely and effective manner in accordance with our policies, procedures and standards. 

• Provide support to approved projects and ensure there is continuous oversight and support throughout the project management cycle including financial and periodic reporting. 

• Be self-administering including maintaining fundraising pipeline spreadsheets and monitoring progress against activities. 

• Maintenance of records and files in line with IH document management and IT policies. 

• Liaise with the  finance team to ensure grants have been received and are allocated / restricted as appropriate.  

• Support the programmes team in grants management, programme development, monitoring and evaluation, and external relations activities as requested. 

Compliance and Reporting 

• Support donor reporting processes, co-ordinating with the field staff to ensure the timely submission of high-quality programmatic reports and co-ordinate with Finance to ensure timely submission of financial reports. 

• Ensure quality information management through regular maintenance of grant files, reporting calendars, timely submission and updating of internal documentation and other grants tools. 

• Support compliance of programmes with donor and Islamic Help requirements and raise issues affecting external/internal compliance to management staff. 

Researching Funding Opportunities  

• Maintain a thorough understanding of the profile of current funders and Islamic Help’s relationship with them, including the need for reports and updates. 

• Grow the support of current funders, identifying opportunities for them to continue their support.  

• Maintain and update the database and tracker sheet with details of projects and relevant funding streams. 

 Proposals and Funding Applications  

• Develop a comprehensive knowledge of the organisation and its work. 

• Work closely with the Programme Development & Partnerships Manager to identify and pursue fundraising opportunities. 

• Assist, when required, the Programme Development & Partnerships Manager in the development and co-ordination of high-quality proposals and concept papers for submission to donors. 

• Build strong and effectve relatiionships with Islamic Help teams in the UK and overseas. 

• Support the programmes team in the on-going development of departmental strategy.  

 Partner and Donor Relationships 

• Develop and strengthen relationships with current partners and identify and cultivate relationships with potential new partners/donors through a range of communications including by phone, in writing and face to face meetings as appropriate.  

• Assist in co-ordination of existing relationships through professional account management and communicating the impact of our work to partners in a compelling way.  

• Maintain accurate partner and donor records in order to monitor, evaluate and report on fundraising activity. 

 Other Responsibilities:  

• Support the Programme Development & Partnerships Manager on the management of the department including development of departmental calendar, coordinating meetings with agendas and record keeping, oversight and development of departmental workplan. 

• Communicate with offices and partners as and when necessary and communicate progress or queries to colleagues. 

• Support the programmes team in the analysis of budgets and reports to determine impact, achievements and outputs. 

• Prepare feedback reports for donors and other stakeholders within appropriate timeframes. 

• Provide marketing colleagues with appropriate beneficiary data and case study material etc. 

• Verify budgets, invoices and financial liquidation reports to ensure that money is being spent according to the approved operational budget, plan and conduct appropriate desk reviews. 

• Review budgets and communicate any changes where needed. 

• Ensure the prioritisation of the most vulnerable within the communities Islamic Help serves by adopting a pro-active, holistic approach to safeguarding.

• To participate and actively engage, under the supervision of the Director of International Programmes, as part of Islamic Help’s first response to an emergency, including but not limited to travelling to emergency response locations, planning and implementing emergency response projects and liaising with partners and others to ensure successful implementation

The Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Officer will work alongside the Head of Income, Partnerships and Communications to help deliver Rising Sun’s fundraising targets during this exciting period of growth for the charity.

The main focus of the role is finding, attracting and stewarding new funders to help deliver Rising Sun’s life changing services. You will write compelling funding proposals that demonstrate the impact of our services and how we meet funders’ requirements. You will build strong relationships with grant officers from various foundations, providing regular updates and communicating challenges, solutions and successes as appropriate to develop our reputation as an effective, reliable and trustworthy organisation.  Alongside this you will be nurturing our existing portfolio of funders to help prioritise multi-year funding.

Working with you in the Fundraising Team will be the Head of Income, Partnerships and Communications, Trusts and Foundations Officer, Community Fundraising Officer and Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Team. As part of the team you will help to develop fundraising materials such as case studies, impact reports and cases for support.

We are looking for a proactive and organised individual who loves building and nurturing relationships and has a passion for fundraising. In addition, you will have excellent writing skills and experience of generating income from trusts and foundations to grow our income from this stream. As part of our committed team of approximately 50 staff, you will be contributing to the invaluable work of the Rising Sun and making a lasting difference to the lives of those who have experienced domestic abuse.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and manage part of Rising Sun’s portfolio of income and fundraising activities related to trusts and foundations.
• Keep the trusts and foundations stream of the funding pipeline healthy and up to date, carrying out research into new opportunities and meeting application deadlines. 
• Write compelling funding applications that answer funders’ questions and effectively communicate the mission, services and impact of Rising Sun.
• Develop appropriate fundraising tools, such as cases for support and impact reports.
• Support the Head of Income, Partnerships and Communications to write bids for commissioned services and government funding opportunities.
• Liaise internally across the organisation to become familiar with our services and stay up to date with current trends to feed into funding applications and develop project proposals.

Job Purpose:

To work alongside the Legacy Marketing Manager to help deliver MFS UK’s Legacy Fundraising strategy and support the efficient administration of one of the charity’s largest income streams.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, this role is focused on ensuring an effective and organised Legacy Administration for the organisation.

To support the strategy to increase income, this role will be liaising with donors who are interested in leaving gifts in their wills and assist with the recruitment of new supporters. This role plays a fundamental part of our Legacy Stewardship and Retention programme for those who have already committed to leaving a gift in their will.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Individual Giving & Legacies Team at Dementia UK, where you will play a key role in growing two of the charity’s most vital income streams, gifts in Wills and in memory fundraising. Together this amounts to over £8 million annually, representing more than a quarter of our total income. 

As a Legacy and In Memory Executive, you will help increase awareness of gifts in Wills and maximise opportunities for in memory giving through the delivery of compelling, timely and supporter-focused communications. You will lead on the development and implementation of multichannel marketing campaigns, including copywriting, compiling design briefs and liaising with suppliers and agency partners to ensure that all activity is insight-led and aligned with strategic objectives.

You will be responsible for stewarding supporters with sensitivity and care, managing enquiries and pledges related to gifts in Wills and coordinating the delivery of meaningful journeys for in memory donors. Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers, you will oversee the production of marketing and collateral, managing relevant content across social media channels and sourcing case stories for use across the charity.

You should be confident using a relationship database to inform and report on stewardship activity and ensuring data is used effectively to enhance supporter journeys. About Wicksteed Park

Wicksteed Charitable Trust owns and cares for Wicksteed Park, a unique urban park in Kettering, Northamptonshire, which offers a countryside experience to local people and beyond. The Park was founded in 1921 by Charles Wicksteed and offers over 25 rides, 281 acres of parkland, playgrounds, and walking trails, catering to all ages. Role Outline

Engaging with our local community is essential to the success of fundraising at Wicksteed Charitable Trust, ensuring that Wicksteed Park is here for future generations to enjoy. As Grants and Community Fundraiser you will work within our small, newly established Fundraising team delivering engagement activity to maximise income from the local community as well as researching and developing a Trusts and Foundations income pipeline.

We are looking for a Trust Fundraising Officer to join our supportive Trusts and Grants fundraising team, playing a key role in helping raise vital funds for services that support people experiencing and recovering from homelessness to rebuild their lives.

In the role of Trust Fundraising Officer, you will work closely with a team of four other trust fundraisers, helping to meet our income target of circa £1.5m in 2025-26, and produce high quality written proposals and reports that reflect the impact of philanthropic support on the people we work with.

In this role, you will develop compelling fundraising proposals about our varied projects and will be supported to manage a portfolio of small to medium trusts and family foundations (giving up to £10,000). You will build strong relationships with trust funders, communicating the impact of their grants and helping them to feel connected to the work they are supporting.

In this role you will be required to work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in Tower Hill, London. This allows for in person collaboration, team meetings and other relationship building opportunities. We support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for agile working for the rest of your week; from home, or other St Mungo’s London or regional locations.

The Supporter Care Coordinator role sits within the Supporter Experience team, whose goal is to ensure that all Scope supporters, whether they are giving time, money, or voice, have the best experience each time they interact with us.

The role

The Supporter Care team is the first point of contact for all supporter and donor queries, so you will be at the frontline, engaging with a variety of people contacting Scope. The role of the Supporter Care Coordinator is to ensure that each of these people feels appreciated, informed, and satisfied after engaging with Scope, leaving them feeling valued and committed to giving their ongoing support.

You will:

· Be responsible for handling incoming queries from supporters, across telephone, email, and post, as well handling outbound supporter service calls and other communications.

· Process donations from different channels and sources, thanking supporters in a timely manner and maintaining good records of these actions.

· Report to the Supporter Care Team Leader and sit within the wider Fundraising team.

· Work closely with colleagues across the directorate, providing support in key periods, and contributing to overall fundraising income goals and an improved supporter experience.

You’ll create datasets, carry out quantitative and qualitative analysis, and develop policy proposals that are creative, evidence-based and workable. Summary of the role:

As the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL)  Officer focuses on strengthening and supporting the various projects, including the collection of programme wide statistics to detail the reach and results of Muslim Aid UK  (MAUK) programmes. The MEAL Officer will provide guidance, coordination, and technical support to Country Offices and Partner’s MEAL systems through MAUK Programmes, ensuring that the programme has the flexibility to respond appropriately to the context while ensuring quality, effectiveness and responsiveness in line with humanitarian standards, as well as compliance with the Institutional donors.

The position supports a robust monitoring system that facilitates both accountability and learning and includes data collection, analysis, learning reflection and timely action-taking in support of quality service delivery.

You will play a critical role in this unit with an exciting mandate to support and improve the dynamic programmatic portfolio Muslim Aid Implements Globally. You will work closely with partners and country offices and contribute to improving systems within IPD.

About the Role:

1. Collaborate with the MEAL Manager, country offices and partners staff to craft MEAL systems that align with the project, and MAUK Global objectives, are relevant to the context, responsive to assessed needs, are measurable and are in compliance with grant requirements.
