We are supporting an incredible mental health charity to find an Events Fundraising Officer to help deliver exceptional experiences for supporters taking part in exciting fundraising challenges and events.
Contract Permanent, full-time (35 hours per week)
Location London or Cardiff (Hybrid 2 days per week in the office)
This is a brilliant opportunity to join a collaborative and ambitious multi million pound Income Generation team. In this role, you'll inspire and nurture participants throughout their fundraising journey ensuring they feel valued, motivated, and confident from sign-up to event day and beyond.
The role
The Events Fundraising role is responsible for delivering exceptional and memorable experiences for supporters taking on fundraising challenges, ensuring they feel inspired, confident, and supported throughout their journey.
A strong emphasis on supporter engagement sits at the core of the role, with a focus on meeting and exceeding engagement and fundraising KPIs through proactive communication, tailored guidance, and personalised stewardship.
Insight plays a key part in the role, requiring the ability to interpret and analyse performance data to optimise supporter journeys, strengthen campaign effectiveness and maximise income.
Equally important are excellent relationship building skills working closely with supporters to understand their motivations, while collaborating effectively with colleagues across teams to ensure a positive, connected, and productive working environment.
The candidate
- Experience working on events fundraising programmes and delivering memorable fundraising experiences.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with supporters.
- Track record of monitoring and meeting targets and KPIs.
- Project management skills, including ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to use initiative to work alone ensuring work is planned, prioritised, and organised to achieve set deadlines.
- Ability to interpret and analyse data and use insight to improve performance.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
- Commitment to using communication skills to improve supporter experience through insight-driven communications and personalised engagement strategies.

Fulwood Free Methodist Church exists to be a loving and welcoming community of people who follow Jesus and aim to make Him known. Working in partnership with the Co-Lead Pastor for Teaching & Leadership Development, the new Co-Lead Pastor will provide spiritual leadership, lead and inspire the staff team, and drive community outreach, pastoral care and young adults ministry. This is a genuine co-leadership model built on collaboration, shared decision-making and mutual support.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Share spiritual and strategic leadership with the Co-Lead Pastor and Trustees
- Lead and develop the staff team, fostering a collaborative and growing culture
- Inspire and lead evangelism and outreach to a fast-growing local community
- Oversee pastoral care, building and supporting a team of lay pastoral carers
- Develop young adult ministry, homegroups, and help shape plans for future church planting
This role is ideal for an ordained pastor (or someone eligible for ordination) with proven experience in pastoral leadership, a passion for evangelism, and a heart for shared, collaborative ministry. While Fulwood Free Methodist Church is rooted in Wesleyan Arminian theology, applicants do not need to come from a Methodist background, provided they are fully aligned with this theological position.
