About you:
We’re looking for a driven and detail focused professional to join our Housing Services Team as a Senior Housing and Income Officer. In this pivotal role, you’ll help ensure our housing services remain financially secure while supporting our clients to sustain their tenancies and build brighter futures. Working closely with our Housing Services and Supported Accommodation teams, you’ll combine practical problem solving with empathy and determination to make sure every client has the best chance to thrive.
You’ll take ownership of rent income management - overseeing complex accounts, tackling arrears, approving adjustments, and managing legal actions with precision and care. You’ll spot risks early, keep everything running to time, and ensure our policies are followed to the letter. Alongside this, you’ll share your knowledge with frontline teams, providing guidance, training and benefit updates that empower others to achieve consistent, high-quality rent collection.
This is a role where your expertise and tenacity will have real impact - strengthening financial stability, supporting lasting change for clients, and shaping the future of how we deliver housing services. We are currently operating a blended working arrangement, that includes working from our Head Office in Kings Cross for a minimum of 3 days per week, as well as flexible occasional travel to our accommodation services across London. There is also some potential for home working, in agreement with the Head of Property Services.
The weekly working hours are 37.5 hrs, to be completed between 9am-5pm Mon- Fri, with occasional need to work outside of these times in the event of an emergency.

Milton House is a 15-bed mixed-gender accommodation service in Islington, supporting adults facing multiple and complex challenges. With a small and dedicated staff team, we provide tailored casework to residents whose needs may include mental or physical health issues, substance use, histories of offending, or support with living skills and wider aspirations. Our aim is to create a safe, welcoming and well-managed environment where people can build stability and take positive steps towards independent living.
You'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the service, balancing housing management responsibilities with maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness. Each day you will carry out a thorough clean of the building, including communal areas, bathrooms and offices, helping to create a space where residents and staff feel respected and supported. You will also act as the first point of contact for residents, visitors and contractors, support stock control, uphold health and safety compliance, and assist with practical housing management. Alongside this, you will contribute to the wraparound support we provide, helping residents to keep appointments, manage their budgets and develop the skills they need for greater independence.

We’re looking for a Housing Administrator to join our finance and compliance team. The role will support the delivery of high quality housing services, ensuring our properties remain safe, well-maintained, and compliant.
This role is ideal for candidates with strong organisational and administrative skills. Experience in housing, property, or compliance is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate repairs, maintenance tasks, and compliance checks

Kineara has a new vacancy for an experienced Housing support worker to join our small and dedicated team for our new School Housing Advice project.
About the project
The School Housing Advice Support Project builds on the success of a pilot program and aims to provide tailored housing advice and support to families, particularly those living in temporary accommodation (TA). The project started in January 2025 and is currently being delivered at three primary schools in the borough of Southwark.
The initiative offers practical housing advice, casework, workshops, and legal support through a collaborative partnership between Kineara and Southwark Law Centre. It also addresses challenges such as poor housing conditions, legal proceedings, and impacts on families' health and wellbeing.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and compassionate support worker to deliver housing advice and practical support to parents from four Primary Schools in Southwark. This role involves conducting housing surgeries, providing follow-up casework, and running workshops to empower clients with the knowledge and skills to address their housing-related issues. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to identify their needs and offer tailored solutions to help them achieve sustainable housing outcomes. The role will be based mostly in Southwark, and you will be working in partnership with schools, community organisations and the council to coordinate tailored support for each client to avoid eviction and sustain tenancies, address suitability of the property, mediating with landlords where necessary and providing advice for onward housing when needed. The objectives of these programmes are to avoid evictions, sustain tenancies or move to a better suited property, improve wellbeing and awareness of tenancy rights and housing polices.

Support Sessions

Semi-independent Living Support

· To act quickly to manage incidents and to advise, support and assist service users unable to maintain supported accommodation into more appropriate housing options.
Resettlement
· To support service users in the completion of application forms necessary to support move-on housing, including the private rented sector.
· To ensure that all service users are provided with information about local services whilst in supported accommodation and during their move on.
· To ensure all service users are fully aware of their rights and responsibilities in their home.
· To work with housing providers, both public and private, to negotiate move on options.
Groupwork, Consultation and Participation
· To work as part of a team in developing user participation.
· To identify and develop appropriate and flexible processes for consulting with our service users, via social media platforms, newsletters, events and workshops.
· To devise innovative and creative ways of involving LGBTQ+ people in the running of the schemes with an independent approach.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a new service which works with offenders as they are released from prison. It is a community based setting, rather than custodial where residents can go out in the community, depending on their Licence restrictions. Join our team as a Housing Lead to play a major part in supporting our residents with their long term housing needs. You will act as a bridge between various housing stakeholders and residents, to ensure a tailored move on plan is put in place which meets the needs of all. We thrive to ensure our residents have the right access to resources and tools to support them in reintegrating into the community, and re-establishing relationships to support with their rehabilitation.
Responsibilities include:
- Act as the main point of contact between landlords, housing associations, local authorities, private landlords, wider Social Interest Group Services, and our residents
- Work with the wider team to support residents with their long term needs
- Provide specialist support to the wider team to ensure they are regularly trained and kept up to date with policies and procedures, including government changes

About you
We're looking for someone who has knowledge on different types of tenancies, an understanding of the types of needs of our resident group, and able to provide tailored solutions to meet their long term goals. You will have a true passion to support in making a change, supporting rehabilitation, and providing opportunities to people to make positive changes to their lives, and reintegrate into society. You will have a general understanding of the criminal justice system, and/or have experience supporting people with multiple/complex needs. Further, you will have:
- Previous experience in coordinating/delivering activities and interventions with people from different backgrounds
- Experience of working with people of complex backgrounds and/or a good understanding of the sector
- Knowledge of risk management and risk assessment
- Knowledge of license conditions and public protection
- Knowledge of tenancy management, able to share knowledge with others in the team and residents
- Understanding of the housing and social needs of people with multiple and complex needs
- The ability to use, learn and adapt to IT at an intermediate level, including Microsoft and other software programs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral. Ability to form and build effective relationships and rapport with others

Main Purpose of the role

PURPOSE OF POSITION
This is a critical operational leadership role that is responsible for the operation of the
organisation’s supported accommodation services.
Providing operational leadership to team managers and ensuring compliance with
organisational, contractual, local authority and legal regulations and the quality of
services is pushed to the highest possible standards; ensuring excellent outcomes for
residents and a positive and high performing working environment for teams.
This role will also be accountable for the development of excellent relationships with
external partners, commissioners, and other key stakeholders for support services in
the organisation.
You will be a key member of the charity's Extended Leadership team
RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
Service Delivery
• Lead in setting organisational standards and performance targets across the
support and resident services teams that reflect contractual requirements and
organisational standards.
• Actively promote and develop person centred practices based on a trauma
informed approach and psychologically informed environment to working with
residents with high support needs and challenging behaviour.
• Be accountable for the operational performance of the services, allocating
resources strategically to ensure that key performance indicators are achieved
and that action plans are in place where required to improve service
performance.
• Remodelling to promote accountability and co-production approaches with
residents.
• Work with the Head of Building & Facilities to ensure your teams put health &
safety procedures into practice to create a safe environment for our residents
and staff. Contribute, and when required, lead on the formation and review of

• Contribute to the Frontline Service’s Management On Call rota, providing
support to frontline services outside of office hours
Stakeholder Management
• Build strong relationships with Commissioners and regulatory bodies to enable
the service to meet contractual and regulatory KPI's and requirements.
• Submit management information on a monthly and quarterly basis and produce
other statistics and data as directed by the Director of Frontline Services.
• Responsible for effective liaison with outside agencies including the police, social
services and other statutory and voluntary agencies and delegating this work
where appropriate.

• Contribute to the wider management team in frontline services to ensure good
communication, coordination and consistency of practice, approach and

Business Planning and Project Management

individual supervisions regularly.
• Ensuring good communication across teams by holding team meetings
regularly, and additional briefings as necessary.
• Inducting new managers and planning the continuous professional development

Safeguarding
• Act as Safeguarding Lead for the organisation

Intensive Housing Management
• Ensure that our landlord responsibilities are delivered in a person-centred way
and in line with our regulatory and legal responsibilities

our services that is responsive to resident needs.

General

We’re looking for Project Workers to join our dedicated Hither Green team at Spring Gardens and Hilda House. This is a great opportunity to be part of a specialist, trauma-informed service supporting 68 highly vulnerable adults in Lewisham who have experienced homelessness and face multiple challenges including mental health issues, complex needs, substance use, and trauma.
In the role of Project Worker you will be joining our busy client focused service to:
- Use a person-centred approach to support clients in identifying and working towards their personal goals.
- Respond to incidents and crises as part of a team, prioritising safety and wellbeing.
- Provide practical and emotional support in a caring, approachable way.
- Contribute to a safe, high-quality accommodation service as part of a committed team.
- Maintain accurate records related to client support, housing management, and health & safety.
- Lead shifts on a rota basis, ensuring effective task delegation and smooth service delivery.

Work on 8 weekly shift rota that includes early shifts 08:00-18:00, late shifts 13:00-22:30, weekends 08:00-20:30 and bank holidays. For this role staff can claim an additional 20% pay premium for hours worked between 8pm and 8am Monday to Friday, and all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday.

About the role
With your own caseload of families, you will act as their key worker within our Family Service and support homeless and poorly housed families to defend their right to a decent home. Accordingly, you will provide intensive, tailored support as part of a whole family approach in a 1-2-1 setting and through group work. About you
You have knowledge of child development and a strong understanding of homeless children and families, with experience of supporting parents, children and young people who have complex needs. You also have knowledge of housing, homelessness and ASB legislation and welfare benefits that affect families and the skills to network and gather information as well as advocacy, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
You will need to be able to demonstrate that you have worked within, or understand, a safeguarding framework, are IT literate and have experience of managing a caseload and can prioritise, organise and set boundaries. With a full driving licence, you will have access to a vehicle for work purposes, an allowance and mileage will be paid.

What You'll Be Doing
You will be joining our Asset Management Team, a friendly group of 16 people, who provide a high-quality service to our Housing Support colleagues and our Clients by repairing, maintaining and investing in our properties.
A little more about your day as a Fire Safety Project Manager:
• To be the main point of contact to address any issues around fire safety in our properties which needs further on-site investigation around repairs, maintenance, or any other property related matters.
• Programme and manage the delivery of Fire Risk Assessments and Fire Strategies for our property portfolio.
• Investigate any Health and Safety issues under the Housing Health and Safety Rating System.
• Assist the Contracts and Compliance Manager to ensure we remain compliant at all times.
• Compile specifications for all passive and active fire safety works, procure, and ensure works are delivered to the required standard and within the specified timescales, inspect work during and at completion, and arranging payment for work.
• Request or raise orders for works to external contractors or In House Repairs Team, and ensure work is completed to the required standard and within the specified timescales.
• Have regular contact and meetings with Transform’s Inhouse Repairs Team, external contractors, and Consultants to monitor quality and delivery of work, along with performance.
• Have an overview, monitor expenditure against budget, and have input in identifying future repair needs or programmes of work.
• Use appropriate equipment provided to carry out inspections and take photographic evidence as required.
• Provide guidance and advice to residents, staff, contractors, and external stakeholders regarding the outcome of any inspection or work carried out, and if applicable what further action is needed.
• Attend meetings and compile reports as required on any matter following an inspection, which may include any incident, complaint, or disrepair.
• Use IT systems to locate property information, raise repair orders, monitor works, record completions, and obtain reports as required.
• Follow policies and procedures, and where appropriate recommend any changes to improve the way inspections are conducted and what information is collated.

What You'll Need
To be successful in this role, you will need:
