OVERVIEW OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for all aspects of tenancy management which includes but is not limited to, signing up new residents, providing licensing agreements, inductions, and occupancy management.
- Assist the management team in managing rent/charge collections, arrears, voids, and issuing warnings as necessary.
- Carry out regular occupancy checks.
- Ensure the accommodation in which residents live is clean and maintained to a high standard.
- Develop, participate in, and encourage residents/participants to participate in the running and development of various projects, enterprises, and activities.

About the role:
You will be working for Advance London service as an experienced Domestic Housing Manager, responsible for overseeing the delivery of the London service. You will lead and manage the LWHSP project and the co-located IDVAs,
Being responsible for line managing and performance managing Regional Managers and project staff within the post holder’s responsibility, including annual appraisals and supervision.
Supporting Regional Managers to recruit, train and develop a team of competent and highly skilled IDVAs to provide a consistently high-quality service to women. Supporting IDVAs to ensure that Advance’s values, policies and procedures are embedded into service delivery.
Overseeing the management of caseloads and casework to a high-quality standard and monitoring the performance of your team, offering continuous coaching and feedback to ensure that Advance meets the specific KPIs and outcome measures for the contract, taking immediate action to manage poor performance as necessary.
About You:
To be successful as the Domestic Housing Manager (Maternity Cover) you will need the below experience and skills:
You will bring your management experience of providing services to women experiencing Domestic Violence and Abuse including VAWG. With a significant experience of managing, developing and leading teams across a geographically dispersed region and remotely, including harnessing the strengths and potential of staff at all levels, building a strong team culture and maintaining staff motivation, particularly through periods of change. You will have substantial delivery of collaborative working with external agencies, stakeholders, subcontracted partners and extensive management of frontline workers

They are situated close to both Manchester City Centre and Salford Shopping Centre with a total of 250 single HMO units across approximately 30 properties. Their mission is to enhance and enrich the lives of individuals by creating a non-discriminatory, non-judgemental, safe, supportive and friendly environment, providing quality supported housing to assist in reducing homelessness for the socially excluded, while empowering the individual and promoting independence.
As the existing Housing Manager is due to retire, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a new Housing Manager to join the team and support the organisation on their journey to further growth and success. The role
- Overall day to day general management of the service, staff, support provision and houses of multiple occupancy.
- Ensuring that all housing benefit and universal credit queries are identified and resolved as well as any license issues.
- Checking and ensuring housing benefit is monitored and payments are up to date - liaising with housing benefit to ensure any suspensions are monitored and backdates requested where its applicable.
- Overseeing and responding to welfare rights queries and issues that arise as a result of change in circumstances.
- Managing the support charge arrears.
- Devising and updating rent schedules for approval by the local authority.
- Updating daily monitoring spreadsheet, used to record the tenant's support charge payments to ensure balances are accurate.
- Overseeing all risk assessments and compliance ensuring adherence to regulations and requirements.
- Managing evictions and notices to tenants, ensuring notices are compliance with license agreements.
- Maintenance management - monitoring the maintenance work being carried out, ensuring compliance is checked and inspection work is carried out - PAT testing, alarms, EL testing, gas certificates for all units.
- Managing and planning to upgrade and improve the properties.
- Compliance management - ensuring all relevant certification is up to date - booking contractors to ensure compliance testing is carried out to enable certification, updating the compliance monitoring form for HSPG.
- Liaising with maintenance to ensure the identified remedial work is completed following the 3 monthly inspections.
- Management of the cleaning staff.
- Negotiating contracts with providers - BT, SHARP, EE.
- Managing Small claims online.
- Prepare documents so the landlord can represent at County Court, and Tribunals.
- Attendance at general meetings of residents.
- Formulating policy on move on, including negotiation with other housing organisations to secure move on accommodation.
The candidate
- Demonstrable experience of managing HMO's ideally that house vulnerable people.
- Experience of property management including compliance, health and safety and maintenance.
- A thorough understanding of Housing Benefit, Universal Credit and Rent Schedules.

We’re looking for a capable and caring person to join Lancashire Mind’s existing Housing Team. Under the direction of the Housing Operations Lead, you will manage a caseload of tenants with enduring mental health conditions living in properties that are managed by Lancashire Mind.
Via home visits, you will work with each tenant to agree a support plan to enable them to maintain their tenancy and move towards independent living.

You will complete and update records of interactions with tenants on the internal database and input data accurately onto monitoring spreadsheets.
Experience of delivering a housing/tenancy management service, including arrears management, tenancy management (help with budgeting, managing bills and claiming the correct benefits), antisocial behaviour, safeguarding, repairs and health and safety, would be beneficial, but is not essential.
To succeed in the role, you will need excellent communication skills, be IT literate, and able to establish relationships based on trust with different people.

In delivering the role, you will work with the Deputy Supported Housing Manager and the wider housing team to provide effective day to day management of our transitional accommodation service. You will have your own caseload of residents, working creatively and effectively alongside young people to develop their assets and talents and to acquire the skills they need to live independent and fulfilling lives. You will contribute to the smooth and safe running of the service by providing consistency and reliability. You will have a calm, yet assertive manner, being able to handle potentially difficult situations. You will also support young people to safeguard themselves against abuse and risk.
There will be times when lone working will be a requirement for this role.

Service Provision: Supporting the Supported Housing Manager with the daily operations of the services so that they meet the requirements of the service specification. Oversee the residents’ referral, interview and induction processes for all beds and ensure the Occupancy Agreements and House Rules are fully understood. Ensure the quality of accommodation that is provided, liaising with the Housing and Property Services Team to complete estate inspections and health & safety risk assessments, and to turn around voids and organise repairs in line with organisational targets and statutory obligations. With the Supported Housing Manager ensure effective income collection for all beds, working closely with the Rents Team to create a rent payment culture.
Leadership and People Management: Directly line manage team members, ensuring their service delivery, working culture and personal development mirror best practice. Ensuring the team is adequately trained and empowered to work effectively and creatively with our young people to enable them to achieve their aspirations and ambitions, whilst ensuring they are supported within safe and consistent boundaries.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Housing professional to join our small, but supportive, Housing Team working with ISHA’s older adults and providing an enhanced housing management service. It is an interesting and varied role for an engaging, solution-focused person, with a passion for providing excellent people-focused services, and someone who wants to add value within an organisation.
You will work closely with the external Care and Support agencies caring for our residents, to support with maintaining a safe and secure living environment and their wellbeing. This includes continuous improvement across all areas of the role, while helping to support and achieve our organisational objectives.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
- Assess residents referred to the service.
- Liaise with colleagues to ensure viewings and lettings are coordinated and completed at the earliest opportunity.
- Work with colleagues to assist residents in maximising income and benefit entitlement.
- Take reasonable measures to ensure the security and health and safety of residents in their home.

About the role
The Housing First Team at Crisis offers open-ended, flexible, and intensive support to people who are multiply disadvantaged. As a Team Leader, you will take a person-led, holistic, and trauma-informed approach to the support of members and provide effective line management to Housing First coaches in line with Housing First principles. We take a bold approach to supporting people and the role involves empowering staff to work within a risk-aware but not risk-averse culture, to maximise safety and opportunities.
You will collaborate with colleagues and support the Housing First Manager to build relationships with key stakeholders including voluntary sector and local authority partners. You will also support the Housing First Manager to measure our impact and continuously evaluate our fidelity to the Housing First principles.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have initiative and knowledge of Housing First and Housing Led approaches and their role in systems change across homelessness services.
You’ll have the ability to lead by example, inspire and support a multi-disciplinary team working with people with complex and enduring needs.
You’ll have experience of developing external and internal partnerships to gain the most positive outcome for people using the service.

About the role:
As a Housing Officer, you will be responsible for providing a housing management service to the service users living in Vibrance owned and managed services. You will provide support to Vibrance services in relation to health and safety, maintenance, housing law and tenancy issues, rent collection, and arrears management. You’ll also provide specific support and advice to individuals who use Vibrance services with housing matters and money advice.
The Housing Officer role will be supporting our services located across London & South- East England and as such ability to travel is essential.
Responsibilities as our Housing Officer will include:
- Supporting prospective service users (and their carers where appropriate) with all aspects of the moving in/out process, to ensure that people are able to make an informed decision about whether or not to move in or move out

This is a new and exciting role in Refuge, and the post holder will be embedded within borough housing teams to facilitate the dual working that will ensure that survivors’ safety and housing needs are met. The post holder will be based within housing teams for three days a week, to help facilitate.
- Close working relationships with Housing colleagues
- Provision of specialist knowledge relating to DA for Housing Officers and Homelessness Teams to draw on
- Specialist support for survivors at the moment of crisis
- Provision of advocacy; supporting survivors to access safe accommodation
- Ongoing support from the IGVA from wider DA service, including access to group clinical supervision, casework management meetings, reflective practice sessions, one-to-one supervision from service manager
This recognises that many survivors will approach Housing at moments of crisis, when they are either considering fleeing, or have already fled.
The housing IGVA will carry a caseload of survivors and their children that require additional support. They will work closely with victims of domestic abuse from the point of crisis, to provide high quality independent advocacy and support to survivors of domestic abuse at the highest risk and their children.
They will empower survivors by providing them with emotional, practical and personal welfare support. They will ensure that survivors are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming environment, enabling them to access their rights, make decisions and increase their life options.
The job involves informing survivors of the full range of civil, criminal and practical options that might increase their safety.

Our mission is to help children and young people have a fair chance to be who they want to be. We do this by providing a safe home, increasing life skills and self-confidence, and improving emotional wellbeing and mental health.
Our Brighton & Hove Services provide supported accommodation for 50 young people at risk of homelessness across two sites. Gareth Stacey House is one of our 24-hour supported housing projects offering high and medium levels of housing-related support for young people aged of 16-25 with 15 bedspaces and shared communal facilities. We provide support to our residents to help them build essential life skills, identify their goals and work towards aspirations so that they can move on to enjoy fully independent futures. Our staff team comprises of Support Workers, Night Staff and Managers. Each Support Worker holds a caseload of residents and meets with them weekly to build a support plan and help them achieve their goals.
As a Supported Housing Support Worker you will hold a caseload of residents, working with them on a one-to-one basis with also facilitating group work sessions. You will identify their needs by listening to them, with employing psychologically informed approaches to enable residents to make better choices and take responsibility for their actions. You will work closely with other services such as, Social Services, Police, Probation, education providers and local organisations. Our projects already have excellent working relationships with these services, and your role will build on these. You will be helping them to improve their practical living skills such as cleaning, budgeting, managing behaviour, seeking, and securing employment and making wise decisions. You will help to contribute to a great working environment, with a calm, yet assertive manner, being able to handle potentially difficult situations.
