Location: Enfield. Unfortunately there is no step free access at this service. 

Salary: £27,000

Shift Pattern: 37.5 per week Monday to Sunday on a rolling rota between 07:30 - 21:00, including evenings and bank holidays. You may be required to work outside these hours depending on resident and service needs.

About the Role

We're hiring a Mental Health Recovery Worker to join our team based in Enfield. In this role, you will support residents with complex mental health needs. Offering 21 beds in a 24 hour supported accommodation to adults with complex mental health needs. We are here to promote independence and give our residents the tools needed to fulfil their lives in the community independently.

As a Mental Health Recovery Worker, you will play a key role in supporting individuals on their journey to recovery, reablement, and rehabilitation, providing person centred and trauma informed support in a psychologically informed environment (PIE), to empower residents to achieve their goals and improve their well-being. Here, you’ll support individuals transitioning from complex care or acute mental health services to a structured rehabilitation setting. Working closely with the mental health trust community rehabilitation team, you’ll help residents overcome challenging behaviour's and support medication compliance, making a real difference every day. Key Responsibilities Include:

• Provide tailored support to residents to help them achieve their personal goals and outcomes. This may involve contributing to and developing support plans, conducting risk assessments, participating in reviews, and attending case meetings.
• Deliver all required aspects of the service efficiently and consistently. This includes welfare checks, support sessions, safeguarding monitoring, risk assessments, and involvement in training and development.
• Ensure residents fully understand their rights and responsibilities, and have access to appropriate tools, resources, and support networks to achieve their goals.
• Help design, lead, and encourage participation in a range of projects, group sessions, and community-based activities.
• Create an empowering and enabling environment where individuals are supported to make informed decisions and take control of their own lives.
• Provide practical advice, emotional support, and life skills training to promote independence and resilience.

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Social Work Service at St Joseph’s Hospice, based in Hackney. As a Senior Social Worker, you will work as part of a committed and creative team, which offers innovative social care interventions and support to people with palliative and end-of-life care needs, and to their families, carers and children.

The social work team works in collaboration with other clinical professionals and volunteers across all areas of the service: inpatient, outpatient and community. The team includes social workers, a dedicated carers service lead and welfare benefits lead. In addition to clinical case work and line management responsibilities, the Senior Social Worker deputises for the Social Work Manager in their absence, providing cover for day-to-day operational matters.

About you

We are looking for:

• Post-qualifying experience working in the context of palliative or end-of-life care or a related area
• Post-qualifying experience of individual staff management and professional supervision
• Experience of managing and coordinating complex casework and safeguarding concerns across professional groups and agencies

Working within the communications and marketing team, you'll be confident in managing our social media accounts (we have many), ensuring we're using platforms to get our messages out to both wide and targeted audiences with engaging and timely content.

You'll be happy using tools for social listening, interacting with our audiences and building our reach. You'll be familiar with key metrics for social engagement and will be reporting back to colleagues and other stakeholders - and using this data to constantly improve our communications.

You'll be skilled in writing longer form content for our members' magazine, Caring, proof reading articles, posting content on our websites, creating graphics and making sure our content is engaging, audience focused and dynamic. Oh, and you probably know your way around an emoji set and are not scared of a well timed pun. We're a small but effective communications team and pride ourselves on getting stuck in and supporting each other when we need to deliver big on fast moving projects, so you'll need be able to juggle lots of demands while recognising the importance of always hitting deadlines.

In this role, you will support adults experiencing loneliness, isolation, and mental health challenges and providing pathways, support, and appropriate interventions that will enable successful resettlements, and deliver to achieve safer, integrated communities for our stakeholders. Marron House has 18 bed spaces and we provide personalised support around daily living skills such as budgeting, shopping, cooking, reminders to take medication and developing a structured weekly routine.

As a Recovery Worker, you will identify individual resident needs, and provide person centred, tailored support to residents to help them overcome their personal challenges and achieve their goals. You will do this through a combination of producing tailored support plans, activities, and partnership working. You will support us continue to work in a trauma informed way, and create a psychologically informed environment, which supports us in creating a safe, respectful, and responsive environment which puts our people and communities at the forefront. About the Role

 The work is an assertive outreach caseworker role; an Advocate will be responsible for supporting 5 women in their assigned borough. You will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the intersection between severe and multiple disadvantage and VAWG and a strong understanding of how this can make it difficult for women to engage with support. You will have worked with people experiencing various aspects of severe and multiple disadvantage: homelessness, substance use, mental health issues, insecure immigration status, prostitution, offending history and children taken into care.

About You

· Demonstrable experience of working with people affected by VAWG

· Experience of risk assessment, risk management, and safety planning with victim/survivors including those at high risk

· Experience of working with people affected by severe and multiple disadvantage: homelessness, substance use, mental health issues, insecure immigration status, prostitution and offending behaviour

· Experience of multi-agency partnership working

· A sound working knowledge of the practical, emotional, social and economic issues facing women and children affected by domestic abuse

About the Role

We are seeking an individual to raise awareness of the Fund’s welfare offer amongst social welfare agencies across the North East of Scotland but also, crucially, to help address the issue of social isolation and feelings of loneliness experienced by some members of the RAF Family.

You will have experience of engaging and supporting people in a community, charity, social care, or other people focused position, supporting those who are socially isolated to be better connected into their communities.  You will have good organisational skills, empathy and the ability to listen and build relationships with people who may have complex and challenging welfare needs, assisting them by identifying appropriate support from within the RAF Benevolent Fund and the wider statutory and military charity sector.

This is a community-based position working from home but covering the Inverness, Moray and Aberdeenshire regions primarily, delivering both remote and face to face support.  The candidate must have their own vehicle to use to travel around these regions.  Occasional travel to Edinburgh and London will be required.

We are seeking an individual to raise awareness of the Fund’s welfare offer amongst social welfare agencies across Lancashire but also, crucially, to help address the issue of social isolation and feelings of loneliness experienced by some members of the RAF Family.

You will have experience of engaging and supporting people in a community, charity, social care, or other people focused position, supporting those who are socially isolated to be better connected into their communities.  You will have good organisational skills, empathy and the ability to listen and build relationships with people who may have complex and challenging welfare needs, assisting them by identifying appropriate support from within the RAF Benevolent Fund and the wider statutory and military charity sector.

This is a community-based position working from home but covering the Lancashire region, delivering both remote and face to face support. The candidate must have their own vehicle to use to travel around these regions.

The Gurkha Welfare Trust provides vital support to Gurkha veterans, their families and communities in Nepal. We have been working in Nepal for over 50 years, delivering essential financial and medical aid to Gurkha veterans and widows, and working with local communities to provide access to clean water and education. We also build earthquake-resilient homes for our most vulnerable pensioners.

This role’s primary responsibilities will be as follows:

 1. Develop and implement the Trust’s Individual Giving acquisition strategy across regular giving, one‑off donors, mid‑value supporters, and legacy pledgers, in collaboration with the Head of Fundraising & Communications.

2. Lead the planning and management of the annual acquisition budget, ensuring income and expenditure forecasts are accurate and regularly monitored.

3. Deliver integrated, supporter‑focused campaigns across direct mail, TV, door‑drop, inserts, press, telephone fundraising, and digital channels, ensuring activity meets agreed targets, deadlines, and quality standards.

4. Work with the Database Manager and external partners to ensure accurate data selection, segmentation, and fulfilment for all campaigns.

5. Monitor donor behaviour and key performance indicators, including attrition, response rates, and ROI, and develop strategies to enhance retention and reactivate lapsed supporters.

6. Collaborate with creative and fundraising agencies to test, refine, and optimise campaign content, propositions, and targeting.

7. Ensure the highest standard of donor care, working closely with the Individual Giving (Stewardship & Retention) Manager, Database Manager, and fulfilment providers to deliver a consistent and positive supporter experience.

8. Strengthen the regular‑giving acquisition proposition, identifying growth opportunities and mitigating donor attrition.

9. Maximise Gift Aid income by ensuring all acquisition activity includes appropriate prompts and compliance measures.

Support legacy marketing activity in partnership with the Legacy Administration team.

KEY SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE, AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

Applicants for this position should be able to satisfy the following criteria:

Essential:

• Proven success in delivering Individual Giving or marketing campaigns that meet or exceed income targets.
• Strong project management skills and experience coordinating multi‑channel fundraising campaigns.
• Experience managing significant income and expenditure budgets.
• Ability to analyse campaign performance, interpret data, and produce clear, actionable reports.
• Strong creative judgement and ability to guide external agencies.
• Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working with colleagues, partners, and suppliers.
• Good understanding of fundraising regulation, Gift Aid, and data‑protection requirements.
• Strong numeracy skills and confidence working with financial and supporter datasets.
• Excellent attention to detail, written and verbal communication, and competent IT skills.
• A positive, proactive attitude and commitment to working as part of a supportive fundraising team.
• A genuine commitment to the values and mission of The Gurkha Welfare Trust.

Desirable:

• A relevant degree or recognised fundraising qualification (or equivalent practical experience).
• Extensive experience in an Individual Giving or similar fundraising role.
• Experience managing external agencies and overseeing creative, print, and production processes.
• Experience of mail or telephone acquisition campaigns and testing new fundraising channels.

Experience using CRM systems, particularly Access or similar platforms.

Citizens Advice Cheshire West is looking for a skilled and committed Welfare Rights Caseworker to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide specialist benefits advice and casework to clients across Cheshire West, helping people navigate complex welfare systems, maximise their income and access the support they are entitled to at some of the most challenging times in their lives.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the local community by providing specialist welfare benefits advice and casework to clients across Cheshire West. You will support people to access the benefits they are entitled to, helping to maximise income and improve financial stability.

The role involves managing complex welfare benefits cases, preparing detailed written submissions, negotiating with third parties and, in exceptional circumstances, representing clients at tribunal.

This is a hybrid role with time spent working from home and from our offices in Winsford and Chester, alongside outreach work across the Cheshire West area. Due to the nature of the role, extensive travel is required and access to your own transport is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice and casework across the full range of welfare benefits.

• Prepare written submissions and supporting evidence for reviews, welfare benefits appeals and tribunals.

• Act on behalf of clients by negotiating with relevant organisations and drafting correspondence.

• Represent clients at tribunals where appropriate.

• Ensure clients receive the benefits they are entitled to, supporting income maximisation.

• Maintain accurate case records and statistical information using our case management systems.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to support clients.

• Contribute to research and campaigns work by highlighting issues affecting clients.
   

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has recent welfare rights casework experience within Citizens Advice or a similar third sector organisation.

• Has experience preparing high-quality written submissions for welfare benefit appeals and tribunals.

• Has excellent written communication and negotiation skills.

• Can manage a complex caseload in an organised and structured way.

• Understands the challenges faced by vulnerable clients.

• Is able to work flexibly to meet service needs.

Desirable:

• Experience of representing clients at tribunal.
