About the role

Your words, ideas and campaigns can help change how people understand homelessness and inspire action across the world.

Joining Depaul International, you will create engaging communications that bring its work to life, support advocacy and connect colleagues, supporters and wider audiences with its mission.

Working across an international network, you will turn complex issues into clear, compelling content, ensuring the voices of people experiencing homelessness are shared with dignity and care.

Key responsibilities include:

· Managing and developing the Depaul Group website and social media channels.

· Creating content across digital, video, audio and print, supported by an annual content calendar.

· Producing newsletters, publications, the annual Impact Report and Trustees Annual Report.

· Building relationships with journalists, securing coverage and responding to media enquiries.

· Developing case studies and stories through sensitive, ethical interviews.

· Working with the Global Advocacy Lead to support campaigns and amplify advocacy priorities.

· Coordinating internal communications and helping colleagues share learning through events and webinars.

About you

You are a confident communicator who combines creative storytelling with strong organisation and sound judgement.

You will bring:

· Experience in communications, ideally within a charity, NGO, humanitarian or advocacy organisation.

· Excellent writing, editing and content creation skills.

· Experience managing websites, social media and digital communications.

· A track record in media relations, including developing journalist relationships and securing coverage.

· Confidence using design and content tools such as Canva, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and video editing software.

· An understanding of ethical storytelling, informed consent and safeguarding.

· The ability to collaborate across cultures, manage competing deadlines and handle sensitive information.

· A commitment to social justice, ending homelessness and embedding Vincentian values in your work.

You should be willing to travel internationally and work flexibly when urgent communications needs arise.
