About Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance
Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) exists so nobody in Scotland suffers or dies because medical help cannot get there in time. People can get sick or have accidents anywhere and anytime. But in Scotland there are places where urgent medical help cannot reach people. Or help gets there too late. And when lives are at risk every minute matters. As a charity we rely on donations from the Scottish public, companies and communities to ensure that urgent medical help gets to the patient when it is needed, wherever they are and at whatever time of day.
The Role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Data Management Officer to join the charity’s Data and Insights Function. You will be joining the charity at a time of significant opportunity as we continue to strengthen our approach to data, insight and supporter engagement.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced CRM and data professional who enjoys hands-on responsibility for systems, process improvement and data management, and enabling colleagues to deliver exceptional fundraising, marketing and supporter engagement activity. Working closely with teams across the charity, you will ensure our CRM remains effective, compliant and fit for purpose while helping us better understand and engage our supporters. Your work will directly contribute to our ability to raise funds and support our life-saving mission.
This role can be offered on a fully remote basis, with the option to work from Perth Airport, where SCAA headquarters are located or our Aberdeen base at Aberdeen Airport, if preferred. Occasional travel to our Perth base will be required for the successful candidate. SCAA supports flexible and hybrid working arrangements—our current approach typically includes two office days per week for those working on a hybrid basis. The usual hours and days of work will be Monday to Friday, 9am—5pm.
About You

PURPOSE OF ROLE
Major donors and philanthropists are currently responsible for over a quarter of Caudwell Youth’s annual income – due in part to the generosity of the networks of our founder, John Caudwell.
As Caudwell Youth enters its fourth year, we are seeking a Senior Philanthropy and Corporate Partnerships manager to help us expand beyond our strong founder-led base into a sustainable major donor and corporate supporter portfolio.
Proactive and commercially-minded, you will be confident driving and developing all stages of the major donor and corporate supporter stewardship process. Confidence in engaging in new business research, prospecting, initial meetings and pitches is a must, as you will be responsible for growing our small pipeline of supporters and warm prospects into a long-term income stream.
This is essential to Caudwell Youth’s future sustainability, with corporate partnerships and major donor income currently making up 30% of Caudwell Youth’s annual fundraising income (forecast to be around £450,000 this year).
Our ambition is to increase this revenue stream by around 50% to over £800,000 by 2030, in order to support more at-risk young people from across the UK, as set out in our recently launched strategy, Going National.
This is a role for a self-starter who is excited to drive high value growth and be a key part of Caudwell Youth’s upward trajectory, working within a small but dynamic fundraising team. It offers significant opportunity to shape and lead this area of fundraising as it grows.
You will be an experienced fundraiser with a proven track record of securing major gifts of four, five and six figure gifts, familiarity with managing corporate partnerships and evidence of growing and developing new pipelines and revenue streams.
You will own a significant portion of this income stream, with responsibility for securing new high-value relationships and growing existing supporters.

About Shelter
Home is a human right. It’s our foundation and where we thrive. Yet every day, millions of people are being devastated by the housing emergency.
We exist to defend the right to a safe home. Because home is everything.
We need ambitious, passionate people to join us. This is your chance to play a part in the fundamental change we are striving to achieve.
Our enemy is the social injustice at the core of the escalating housing emergency. To win this fight, we must be representative of the people we are here to help and those who support our movement.
In all our people decisions, we take pride in being inclusive, equitable and transparent. We are committed to combating racism both within and outside Shelter, and we welcome you on our journey to becoming a truly anti-racist organisation.
We recognise that people from marginalised groups may face additional barriers throughout their careers. Research has shown that women and people of colour are less likely to apply for roles unless they feel they meet every requirement.
If you are excited about this role but your experience does not align perfectly with every part of the job description, please do not let that stop you from applying. We encourage you to tell us how your skills, knowledge, behaviours and experience would support your success in the role.
