About the role
As Landlord Liaison Coach, you will join our team in Birmingham at an exciting time, delivering an outstanding property procurement service across the private and social rented sector. Working alongside our team of lead worker coaches you will identify appropriate matches of tenants and homes. In addition, you will be managing your own caseload of homeless members and providing advice, guidance and advocacy. It’s a role requiring commercial acumen and creativity as you partner with both social and private landlords to source accommodation for our members. You will work collaboratively with partners and staff across the organisation to ensure tenants receive the support they need to sustain their homes and landlord relationships are nurtured. There is scope for development of the role and plenty of support. It’s a fantastic opportunity to make the role your own and shape it from the beginning.
About you
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills, experience and knowledge:
- Experience of sourcing, procuring, and allocating accommodation and making tenancies work for tenants and landlords
- Knowledge of the Birmingham (and surrounding areas) housing market and the barriers and opportunities faced by people who are homeless
- Experience of working with homeless people and supporting them achieve a positive housing outcome
- Understanding of housing law
- Developing, building, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
- Experience of working in a lettings and housing procurement environment
- Managing a caseload of homeless people and working towards case management standards
- Showing resilience when dealing with difficult situations
- A self-starter who can work on their own initiative

About the role:
This is not a role where you sit on the sidelines. This is a role where you show up, stand alongside women, and help create the kind of safety and belief that many have never experienced before.
In our Women’s Respite Service in Camden, you’ll be working with women who have faced abuse, exploitation and homelessness, often after systems have let them down. You’ll be part of a space that feels different. A space where women are listened to, where their experiences are understood, and where they can begin to rebuild a sense of control over their lives.
No two days will look the same. One moment you might be de-escalating a crisis, the next you’re advocating with services, or sitting alongside someone as they begin to make sense of what they’ve been through. You’ll use your understanding of trauma, gender informed practice and the realities of violence against women and girls to shape how support is delivered, making sure every interaction is grounded in safety, dignity and respect.
You’ll hold a small but complex caseload, working intensively with women to build trust, navigate risk and move towards stability and independence. You won’t give up easily. You’ll stay curious, creative and persistent, even when progress feels slow or uncertain.
As a senior in the team, your impact goes further. You’ll lead by example, guiding colleagues through complex situations and helping to embed a way of working that truly recognises what women have experienced and what they need to move forward. You’ll help shape a service that doesn’t just respond to crisis, but creates real, lasting change.

About the role:
At the heart of Camden’s mission to end rough sleeping, the Gray's Inn Road project offers short-stay accommodation for 16 individuals experiencing some of the most challenging periods in their lives. Funded by the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities and the Greater London Authority, and delivered in partnership with One Housing Group and Camden Council, this service plays a pivotal role in ensuring rough sleeping in Camden is not only rare but brief and not repeated. Residents typically stay between three to six months, during which time the focus is on creating pathways into safe, sustainable housing and renewed independence.
You’ll be part of a dynamic, forward-thinking team dedicated to delivering trauma-informed, psychologically informed support. You’ll work closely with clients facing overlapping challenges including homelessness, poor physical and mental health, substance use, trauma and histories with the criminal justice system. With your own caseload, you’ll conduct in-depth assessments, build tailored support plans and facilitate interventions that reflect the needs, strengths and aspirations of each person. Every day brings new opportunities to connect people with education, training or employment, to help them rebuild practical life skills, and to foster progress towards long-term goals.

Through the Reset Navigators role, we support Rough Sleepers in Tower Hamlets affected by drugs and alcohol. Our team takes a harm-reduction approach: meeting people where they are, reducing stigma, and helping them access treatment, health services, and wider community support.

Job title: Homelessness Lead Worker (Structured Coach)

Crisis Skylight Oxford is located in the Old Fire Station in the centre of the city. Our team provide a one-to-one specialist housing led service to help people find and secure affordable housing. We offer person centred support and will help people with anything that will support them to end their homelessness, such as mental health and well-being, finances or finding employment.
The Old Fire Station building also accommodates a range of flexible arts spaces which are run by an independent arts company.
About the role
In this role you will carry your own caseload and be supporting people who are at risk of homelessness or experiencing homelessness into both the private rented sector and social housing.
You will be part of a supportive and established team who have knowledge and experience of accessing the PRS sector, completing housing assessments and budgeting plans.
The key to success will be your ability, as part of the Crisis team, to make collaborative, consistent and persistent relationships with each person you support and have good partnership working skills
About you, to be successful in this role you will have;
1. Experience of working within a relevant sector (e.g. homelessness, mental health, drug and alcohol treatment) and have good knowledge of relevant housing, homelessness and welfare legislation
2. Excellent understanding of supporting individuals experiencing multiple disadvantages
3. Understand of barriers and opportunities faced by people moving out of homelessness and into housing and securing positive outcome
4. Effective negotiation skills with the ability to mediate between parties who may have different priorities and to broker agreements

About this role
This is a varied and hands-on role combining participant support, facilitation, coordination, and reporting. You’ll need to be comfortable switching between supporting individuals, running sessions, managing logistics, and keeping projects on track. No two weeks will look the same, but your work will consistently contribute to meaningful, lasting change.

Common Ambition is an ambitious co-production programme, hosted by Arch Health CIC and Justlife, working across homelessness, mental health, substance use, domestic abuse and criminal justice systems. We bring together people with lived experience and professionals to challenge how systems work and to design better, more effective approaches together.
We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive Project Manager to join our small, dynamic programme team. This is a fast paced, hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in delivering high quality co-production work and work alongside people experiencing homelessness and multiple compound needs to influence real change. Example projects include, homelessness and health system improvement, drug and alcohol service improvement and research including around liver disease and integrated community care.

The Housing Needs Service is integral in effectively preventing homelessness and supporting service users into permanent and sustainable accommodation. The Housing Needs Service involves working collaboratively with other internal services, including the Resettlement Team, the Employment Service, the Housing Solutions Service and Passage House Assessment Centre, to assess the housing needs of service users and identify appropriate accommodation options.
This service is key part of the No Night Out service (NNO), an innovative model that provides rapid intervention and support for individuals at imminent risk of rough sleeping for the first time. Service users are provided with emergency accommodation, assessed by the Housing Needs Service and supported to view and sign up for Private Rented Sector properties within a target timeframe of 14 days. The Housing Needs Service works closely with the Resettlement Team to achieve successful outcomes within this prevention service.
The Housing Rights Worker will provide high-quality housing advice, advocacy and casework support to individuals and communities experiencing homelessness, housing insecurity or other housing-related problems. You will empower clients by delivering practical solutions and helping them understand and exercise their statutory rights, while contributing to the organisation’s objectives of preventing homelessness and improving access to safe, secure housing.
The Housing Rights Worker is required to:
- Prevent homelessness wherever possible by supporting clients to understand and exercise their legal and statutory housing rights.
- Provide specialist housing advice, advocacy and casework support to individuals experiencing homelessness, housing insecurity or housing-related difficulties.
- Working collaboratively with the Intervention Worker’s caseload of clients, ensuring high-quality client-centred support.

They will support individuals to understand and access services, make informed choices about their health and wellbeing, and feel more in control of their lives.
You'll support local campaigns and strengthen connections between the lived experience involvement group and the Hub, making sure lived experiences are valued and included.

My Health Matters is a peer-led inclusion health project that works towards an inclusive health system where everyone has access to the health care they need. We work to improve people’s confidence in using health services and increase their ability to access healthcare independently. The project brings together frontline health and social care services with those with lived experience supporting the co-production of solutions to health inequalities in Manchester.
Supporting your application
We will be holding a support session at our hub in Manchester to give people practical support and advice on how to create a CV or supporting statement to apply for the role, or to pick up a paper application. These sessions will also give you the chance to find out more about the role as well as other opportunities at Shelter Manchester If you would like to come along, please contact us to book a slot. About the Independent Living Programme
Centrepoint’s Independent Living Programme (ILP) is delivering 300 genuinely affordable homes across London and Greater Manchester for young people moving on from homelessness. With 50 homes already built and £23m secured, the Independent Living Capital Appeal is raising a further £27m to complete the programme.
The Role
The Independent Living Capital Appeal Manager will play a key role in delivering this ambitious programme. You will be responsible for helping to deliver the £27m appeal target by managing and growing a portfolio of high-value donors and grant-makers, securing five and six figure gifts, and developing a strong pipeline of new prospects.
Working closely with the Head of Independent Living Appeal, you will lead the cultivation and solicitation of high-value supporters while delivering an outstanding donor experience. You will also work closely with development and programme colleagues to align fundraising with live housing developments and future pipeline opportunities.
You will:
- Lead and grow a portfolio of donors and prospects, securing new and repeat five and six figure gifts
- Identify, qualify and cultivate new prospects to strengthen the appeal pipeline
- Develop and deliver tailored cultivation and solicitation strategies
- Write compelling proposals, reports and donor communications
- Deliver excellent stewardship, designing supporter journeys that connect donors to the impact of their support
- Support senior leaders and volunteers in donor cultivation and solicitations
- Collaborate across fundraising and programme teams to maximise opportunities for support
- Line-manage the Independent Living Appeal Officer, supporting their development and contribution to the appeal
This is an opportunity to play a central role in one of the UK’s most ambitious youth homelessness initiatives, helping unlock hundreds of new homes for young people leaving homelessness.
About You
We are looking for a motivated, relationship-focused fundraiser with a strong track record of securing significant philanthropic gifts. You will bring:
- Experience securing five and six figure gifts from individuals, trusts, foundations or corporate partners
- Proven ability to build and progress a pipeline of high-value prospects
- Strong experience managing and stewarding major donor relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including developing persuasive proposals and reports
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and donors
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver targets
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions
Desirable:
- Experience working on a capital appeal or major fundraising campaign
- Experience working with senior volunteers in fundraising
