Reporting to our Head of Legal, this role will see you responsible for establishing, monitoring and maintaining effective and compliant data protection processes and ensuring good practice throughout RBL and the Group, including subsidiaries and branches.
Devising and developing RBLs data protection strategy and approach, you will lead in ensuring RBLs compliance with all GDPR/data protection requirements. You will work across the RBL Group to promote awareness of data protection policies and procedures and provide advice, and guidance to managers, staff, members and trustees.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing, reviewing and maintaining data protection policies and procedures and guidelines
- Monitoring compliance with data protection law and principles throughout RBL and reporting on a quarterly basis to the Executive Board and Audit and Risk Committee
- Managing the subject access requests and individual rights process
- Maintaining RBL’s registrations with the Information Commissioner (ICO) and managing the responses to data protection breaches and complaints
- Devising and updating the controls and actions required for RBL’s Data Protection Risk Register
- Devising and managing the delivery of data protection training, working in collaboration with the Learning & Development team
- Line management of the Assistant Data Protection Officer
You will be experienced in a similar role from within a large, complex organisation, ideally within the not for profit sector. You will have solid knowledge of relevant regulations (GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003) and be confident in providing advice and guidance related to these to varying audiences. An experienced team/people manager, you will be eager to lead a busy and successful function.
You will be contracted to our London, Haig House Hub with a minimum expectation of two days per week working in person at the Hub and flexibility for working remotely/at home when not on site.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Officer to join our Innovation and Insight Team within the Giving Directorate. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, developing, and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy to support the directorate's work, ensuring effective promotion of giving and fundraising initiatives. As part of this you will be tasked with creating campaigns and reports, working with external design firms, or developing resources internally to ensure wide ranging impact.
You will also provide marketing and communications consultancy for Dioceses, Giving Advisors, and Churches, predominantly within the context of the Parish Share Project.
You will work collaboratively across the whole Giving Directorate, collating resources, case studies, and potential messaging opportunities to weave into wider strategic communication, either through our own channels or in partnership with the Communications and Digital Communications teams.
This is a remote fixed-term role till 31 December 2028 with a possibility of extension funding dependent.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of a strategic communications plan for the Giving Directorate.
- Deliver comprehensive communication to key stakeholders including Giving Advisors, Dioceses, and Churches, through, but not limited to, the management of Directorate websites and digital platforms.
- Create and manage marketing campaigns to promote giving and fundraising across the Church of England (e.g. Generosity Week)
- Develop and share a bank of case studies and examples of local impact, sharing the stories of what's happening on the ground.
- Act as a marketing consultant for the Parish Share Project, assisting dioceses in their communication with churches.
- Collaborate with the Communications and Digital Communications departments particularly, as well as other NCI departments, to align directorate efforts with the wider organizational strategy and to utilize national communication channels for Giving marketing campaigns.
- Alongside directorate members, partner with external agencies on joint campaigns (e.g. Farewill)
- Partner with the Senior Data Analyst, to conduct market research and analyse data to inform marketing and communication strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Giving Advisors, Churches, Cathedrals, and Dioceses. This will also incorporate the development of a new customer service portal.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in marketing and communication.
- Oversee the production of marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency and high-quality output, including the maintenance and creation of directorate brands and sub-brands and associated resources (e.g. powerpoint templates, promotional flyers)
- Provide regular reports and insights on campaign performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- As part of the wider Directorate output, provide presentations where necessary to key-stakeholders including General Synod, Diocesan Consultation Forum, and the Giving Advisor Network.
- Offer support and training to members of the directorate and the wider giving network in how to adapt and utilise national resources.
- Support the Giving Directorate in achieving its goals and objectives through effective communication and marketing.

Success in the role demands good understanding of the devolved nature of the Church of England, and the ability to work effectively across it. The post-holder will be expected to develop material and presentations that are consistent with Christian principles and theology, and as such, should be a member of the Church of England, or in sympathy with the mission and ethos of the Church.
The role may require travel throughout the UK and may also require occasional work on weekends. The role is based within a remote team and weekly travel can be expected during high delivery periods. The role is not based at Church House, but you will need to attend some meetings and training at Church House, and so must be willing to travel to London 1-2 times per month.

Women in Prison (WIP) supports women affected by the criminal justice system and campaigns to end the harm it causes.
This is a new role which has been created to provide the vision and direction for our programming and systems change work as we embed our 2025-2030 strategy. Our ambition is to offer women in prisons and the community, impactful direct support that is more independent of government demands and funding, and with a new and deeper partnership model.
Our strategy also challenges us to mobilise women, drive women-led influencing and campaigning and co-design programmes with women with experience of the justice system. We know we must design and deliver programmatic work that incorporates systems change work so that we are not propping up a harmful existing system. The problem in the criminal justice system is not the women themselves, but the structures and systems that oppress them. Women in Prison is taking bold steps to design and embed new programmes that build evidence that directly challenge those harmful systems.
In this role you will:

About Adolescent Health Study
The Adolescent Health Study (AHS) (Registered Charity Number 1213337) is an ambitious new UKRI-funded initiative to establish a prospective, longitudinal population study that will generate a globally leading open science data platform and research resource. AHS aims to recruit at least 100,000 young people aged eight to 18 years from across the UK and to follow their mental and physical health and wellbeing over at least 10 years. It plans to collect data through questions and measures; to obtain bio-samples for a wide range of genomic and other high-throughput assays; and to capture linked data relevant to health and wellbeing from participants’ health, education and other administrative records.
There will be a strong emphasis on engaging with and involving young people, schools, parents and other relevant stakeholders in the design and delivery of the study, as well as on including young people that represent as wide as possible a range of backgrounds, experiences and characteristics. AHS will focus on enabling a wide range of research, including studies of the critical biological and social developments that occur during the transition from childhood to adulthood and the determinants of both mental and physical health and wellbeing in adolescents and young adults.
Purpose of the post
The Engagement and Involvement Officer will play a central role in supporting meaningful engagement and involvement of young people, families, schools and other interest-holders in the process of designing, delivering and ensuring the best outputs from the Adolescent Health Study.
Primarily, the postholder will be responsible for the stewardship and coordination of the AHS Young People’s Advisory Group (YPAG). The post-holder will provide ongoing support to YPAG members to ensure their active participation in opportunities to inform and shape the work of AHS. This will include working closely with the adults in the YPAG members’ lives, including parents/carers, teachers and other relevant adults or professionals. The postholder will also be required to build positive working relationships with other organisations and institutions that work directly with young people. They will support the Engagement and Involvement Lead to develop mechanisms to reach wider and more diverse groups of young people to take part in engagement and involvement activities at AHS.
This is a role that requires confidence, autonomy, enthusiasm and skill. The post-holder will be a strong advocate for children’s rights, have a sound working knowledge and understanding of safeguarding practices, and demonstrate experience of co-ordinating youth advisory groups, youth councils or similar.
Main responsibilities
Coordination & facilitation
- Plan, organise, and deliver regular meetings, workshops, and consultation sessions with young people.
- Develop accessible, inclusive and engaging materials to support young people’s participation in activities and discussions.

- Maintain accurate records, produce meeting notes, and ensure timely communication.
- Support the Engagement and Involvement Lead to track, document and report on outcomes and the influence of young people’s involvement on projects and workstreams.

Essential criteria
- Experience developing and delivering engagement and involvement activities with young people and other relevant interest-holders (such as parents, families, teachers and schools).
- A proven track record or professional background in working with young people – such as in youth work, counselling, mentoring, education, or a related setting.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills, especially with young audiences.
- Understanding and experience of good practice in youth engagement and involvement, including the principles and implementation of safeguarding, data protection, and inclusive practice.
- Experience of co-ordinating a youth advisory group, council, board or similar structure
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritising tasks and manage own workload.

Dimensions
- This has been designed as a full-time role, although part-time work could be considered for the right candidate.
- Flexible working may be required across several geographical locations in the UK. Travel may be necessary to various AHS locations and partner organisations.

We are looking for a Minerva Activities Coordinator

About the role:
The Minerva London service provides holistic, trauma-informed support for women in touch with the Criminal Justice System, through dedicated one to one support, safer women’s centre spaces and specialist interventions and partnerships.
As the Minerva Activities Coordinator you will be responsible for enhancing the offer to women referred into the Minerva service by supporting them to engage with their local women’s centre provision. You will be based at your regional women’s centre five days a week, as the first point of contact for women entering the centre space or contacting the service via the centre helpline. As Activities Coordinator you will create and deliver a relevant and lively activities programme for women to attend, in partnership with Minerva’s specialist delivery partners.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The role of Marketing and Communications Coordinator is to provide support in ensuring the
local community is kept informed about Matrix and its projects, as well as engaged in
supporting us. We expect you to be creative, enthusiastic about our cause and an effective
communicator. In this role you will work independently, but in close liaison with the CEO,
Wider Leadership Team and the wider Matrix team.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
External Communication
● In collaboration with the CEO, write, edit and coordinate the production and delivery of
all postal and electronic newsletters.
● Plan, prepare and coordinate communication with Matrix donors, supporter Churches
and the wider public.
● Create, plan and schedule posts across all Matrix social media channels.
● Develop original copy for social media platforms, websites, broadcast and printed
advertising materials.
● In collaboration with the Data Coordinator, simplifying complex data into a user-friendly
format such as graphs, charts and other visual aids.
● Ensure Matrix team understand and use the correct branding for internal and external
communications.
● Understand brand guidelines and consistently implement the brand voice across all
channels and marketing materials and encourage the wider team to do the same.
● Collaborate closely with the Data Coordinator and Head of Operations to ensure our
supporters database meets GDPR and Fundraising Regulation requirements.
● In liaison with the CEO, write and submit press releases as required.
Income Generation and Networking
● Participate in the Fundraising Working Group, working with the Income Generation
Strategy to enhance our income.
● Attend Matrix fundraising events, taking photographs and supporting with appropriate
creative tasks.
● Support the Head of Operations in producing written funding applications, as required.
● Represent Matrix at networking events alongside the Leadership Team.
Support to Executive Team
● Under the direction of the Head of Operations, collaborate closely with the Operations
Team.
● Undertake a variety of creative administrative tasks for the CEO and Head of
Operations as required.

St Giles is expanding its delivery of hospital-based projects; this service is aimed at vulnerable 10 to 25-year-olds who attend the adult or paediatric emergency department or Urgent Care Centre Whittington Hospital ED. We will work alongside hospital staff to proactively identify vulnerable young people and help them to access and engage the support they need to prevent any potential escalation of violence and reduce the risk of repeat victimisation or exploitation.
About this key role
You will be part of the Newham University Hospital Emergency Department Team meeting CYP (Children and Young People) at the point of presentation to the ED to offer support, with the aim to safeguard and reduce risk around the CYP. This support extends post-discharge from the ED or Hospital with our Caseworkers working with the CYP and the professional networks to ensure the CYP voice is front and centre, this is to support the betterment of the CYP and their future, as well as reducing risks. This is done through providing 121 support in formulating the support plan with the CYP. This can also include supporting the family and advocating for them and CYP within the wider professional network.
