About Spear Stockton

Stockton Parish Church (SPC) is an Anglican Church with an Evangelical Charismatic tradition in the centre of Stockton on Tees. SPC is a diverse worshiping community of around 200 people, a quarter of which are under 18.

They launched a 5 year vision in January 2022 to see their worshiping community grow to 500 people and to plant 3 churches. Key Information:

What does this role do?

We are looking to appoint a Family Support Worker on a full-time basis (35 hours, 5 days per week) to deliver a high-quality family support service as part of our Thames Valley Care Team to families in the local area, at a time where they need it most.

Scottish Mountain Rescue represents 26 volunteer Mountain Rescue Teams across Scotland, alongside Police Scotland and RAF Mountain Rescue services. Its highly trained volunteers respond around the clock, in all conditions, to emergencies across Scotland’s mountains and remote communities.

Scottish Mountain Rescue is now appointing its first Chief Executive Officer.

Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the Chief Executive will lead the charity’s operational functions, manage and support its staff team and help shape its future strategic direction. We have an exciting opportunity to join Birmingham's brand-new Family IDVA Service as an IDVA Team Leader, helping to shape and embed an innovative service supporting families affected by domestic abuse across the city.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in establishing a new city-wide service from the very beginning. Working within Birmingham's Family Hubs, IDVA Team Leaders will combine specialist domestic abuse expertise with leadership responsibility, supporting the safe and effective delivery of services for non-abusive parents and their children who have experienced domestic abuse.

As a Team Leader, you will work closely with the Operations Manager to support the mobilisation, development and ongoing success of the service. You will provide day-to-day leadership, support and guidance to a team of Family IDVAs, helping to create a positive, high-performing and learning-focused culture.

This permanent, full-time role is hybrid, with regular visibility required across Birmingham's 10 Family Hubs. You will lead a dedicated team of 5 Family IDVAs, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality and trauma-informed support to families affected by domestic abuse.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced IDVA looking to take the next step in their leadership journey, or for an existing senior practitioner who is passionate about developing others whilst continuing to make a direct difference to families affected by domestic abuse.

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced IDVA Team Leader to join Birmingham's new Family IDVA Service. This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week, and offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the delivery and development of an innovative city-wide service supporting parents aged 16+ and their children under 18 who are affected by domestic abuse.

Based within Birmingham's Family Hubs, the service will provide specialist, trauma-informed domestic abuse support to families at the earliest opportunity, helping to prevent escalation of harm and improve safety, resilience and wellbeing. The IDVA Team Leader will help ensure that families receive a flexible, whole-family response, with the voices and needs of both parents and children remaining central to assessment, safety planning and support.

In this role, you will provide leadership and day-to-day support to a team of Family IDVAs, helping to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe and effective services. You will line manage a team of frontline practitioners, providing supervision, coaching, case guidance and performance support, while promoting a positive, confident and resilient team culture. You will also support the Operations Manager with the effective running and development of the service. This will include supporting case allocation, monitoring caseloads, undertaking case reviews and audits, ensuring accurate recording on case management systems, and contributing to performance reporting against service standards, contractual requirements and KPIs. You will use data, quality assurance and learning from practice to help identify trends, strengthen service delivery and support continuous improvement.

You will provide advice and guidance to colleagues around safeguarding, risk and case complexity, ensuring the service prioritises the safety, dignity and individual needs of families. Partnership working will be central to this role. You will work closely with Birmingham Children's Trust, Family Hubs, Early Help, education, health, community organisations and other statutory and voluntary sector partners to strengthen referral pathways, promote access to support and improve coordinated responses for families affected by domestic abuse. You will also contribute to the service's training and engagement offer, helping to build awareness and understanding of domestic abuse amongst professionals across Birmingham's family support system.

Purpose of the Role

The Director of External Affairs and Growth is an SLT role responsible for leveraging the voice and power of the eoa's network to influence and accelerate the growth of the employee owned sector.

The role leads the eoa’s external affairs, policy and insights, marcomms and events, shaping the external environment for employee ownership and securing the funding and commercial income needed to support sustainable sector growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead external affairs strategy, building the relationships and influence needed to shape policy, remove barriers and expand EO.
• Build strategic relationships and secure grant funding and commercial partnerships, generating income to support advocacy, events and sector growth initiatives, including the UK EO Growth Strategy.
• Oversee our policy and insights work, engaging key stakeholders to co-produce content that influences EO practice and policy and strengthens the eoa’s voice in public affairs.
• Oversee the delivery of a mar-comms strategy that delivers commercial objectives and positions the eoa as the leading authority on EO.
• Oversee our events programmes, ensuring they drive knowledge-sharing, sector development
• and commercial sustainability.

Key responsibilities

Employee Lifecycle Coordination

• Lead end‑to‑end coordination of recruitment, onboarding, induction, probation, contract changes, leave processes and exits.
• Prepare job adverts, arrange interviews, support shortlisting and manage candidate communication.
• Coordinate induction arrangements and deliver a quarterly global induction programme.
• Maintain accurate HR documentation, trackers and staff files, ensuring timely and compliant processes.
