As a Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) practitioner, you will help young people and adults (16+) with learning disabilities, Autism and sometimes other support needs to transform their lives.

Project Trust is an education charity with over fifty years’ experience in international volunteering for young people.  We organise challenging, long-term placements for 17–25-year-olds with partnership organisations in Africa, Asia and the Americas.

Responsibilities & duties

Digital content and communications

About the role

As Fundraising Manager, your role will focus on developing relationships and generating income from charitable trusts, statutory sources and individuals.

• At least three years’ experience or working as a charity fundraiser
• A proven track record of personally securing income in excess of £200,000 p.a.

The post holder will work as part of the Estate & Facilities and Safety Management team to deliver high standard, customer focused estates and facilities to the organisation. You will lead on all aspects of safety, facilities and estate management at our outdoor learning centre, Hindleap Warren. What you will be doing

Estate Strategy 

• Work with the Senior Team and Heads of Centres to develop the strategic direction and objectives to ensure London Youth are following relevant legislation and best practice from all sectors. 
• Create and deliver plans to manage London Youth's assets in a compliant, safe, and best practice manner, as well as rolling out new software to manage this process. 

Facilities Management 

• Lead on delivery of all Facilities Management services, including but not limited to: M&E, fabric, cleaning/housekeeping, bed linen/laundry, car partking, grounds, waste management, pest control and external contractors. Occasionally support may be needed out of normal working hours in emergency situations. 
• Establish and maintain a comprehensive planned preventative maintenance programme, ensuring the satisfactory operation of all buildings, plant and equipment, and ensuring our buildings remain compliant, safe, fit for purpose, and reflect our brand values at all times. 
• Procure and manage services, evaluate contracts and tender processes through a blend of in-house and out-sourced delivery methods, as appropriate, and evaluate value for money. 
• Work with the Director of Centres and Heads of Centres to set the estates, facilities, and health & safety elements of their annual budgets and advising on capital expenditure requirements across all three sites. 

Health & Safety 

• Maintain a health and safety management system at both Hindleap and the London Office, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met, including overseeing risk assessments, health & safety policies and procedures, and annual audits. 
• Attend monthly meetings of the Safety and Safeguarding Team, analysing reported accident and incident data. 
• Provide assurance reporting to the Director of Centres and Trustees on a quarterly basis.

• Experience of delivering safe and effective work on customer-facing premises and grounds. 
• Experience of managing high performing teams to deliver in line with the needs of an organisation. 
• Experience of working and leading teams across multiple sites. 
• Relevant qualifications in facilities and estates management and health & safety, including a NEBOSH.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team in a dual-role capacity, supporting two vital services run in partnership with Homeless Oxfordshire and Connection Support. The role covers both our Step Down provision—designed for individuals discharged from hospital under the Discharge to Assess model—and our service at Mawle Court, which provides temporary accommodation and support for people with complex needs, including those preparing for more independent living or in need of emergency provision. You will lead on the case management of clients with complex needs, working collaboratively with partner agencies to develop and implement holistic, individualised support and move-on plans. The Combined Cadet Force Association (CCFA) is a charity dedicated to the promotion of the ideals and activities of the Combined Cadet Force in schools. Together we want to ensure that every young person has the opportunity to learn new skills, build confidence and be inspired through their cadet experience.

We want to develop the youth leadership and training abilities of adult volunteers whilst also helping young people to access cadet activities through fundraising, grant-making, developing new resources and direct support.

Job Summary:­

We are looking for an experienced TESOL/TEFL professional to deliver high-quality English language teaching to adults living in Southend and/or London. The successful postholder will deliver engaging language lessons to groups of adult learners with different levels of English within community venues. The postholder will work closely with other members of Family Action staff, particularly those working in FOOD Clubs/Stores, which support people to maximise their income, learn new recipes and try new foods. The successful candidate will play a key role within the Food Services team at Family Action, supporting individuals to develop their communication skills, confidence, and wellbeing.

Main Responsibilities:

The role involves, for instance: planning lessons for groups of adult learners of English, ensuring they meet learners’ needs, learning styles and language level; adapting, where necessary, existing English language materials to meet the needs of each group of learners; delivering engaging lessons, encouraging learners’ participation through demonstrating a positive and enthusiastic approach; and completing learner assessments before and after each programme, as well as monitoring each individual’s learning during the programme. Main Requirements:

The successful candidate will:

· Have a Dip TESOL/DELTA or other similar level teaching qualification (eg PGCE including a TEFL element)

· Be experienced in delivering TESOL/TEFL sessions to groups of adults, particularly in diverse community settings (eg children’s centres)

· Have demonstrable knowledge of effective language teaching and learning strategies

· Have experience of assessing and monitoring students’ learning

· Knowledge of, or willingness to learn about, food safety and healthy eating

We are seeking a dynamic family finding Social Worker or Senior Practitioner wishing to play an active role in the delivery and development of a high quality adoption service as part of the Coram Ambitious for Adoption RAA. The post holder will be based in London Borough of Harrow and will have access to services within Harrow to undertake the family finding task and be part of a bigger network of practitioners from across the RAA. All Coram staff are actively engaged in activities with colleagues to improve the quality of services and to develop themselves as adoption practitioner.
