Purpose of the Role
The Project Consultant will manage the delivery of the Legal Pro Bono Rwanda (LPBR) project in Rwanda, implemented by A4ID and funded by Clifford Chance Foundation. Working closely with the A4ID team in the UK and partner organisations in Rwanda, this role will ensure all project activities are delivered on time and on budget and in line with A4ID’s overarching strategy and specific strategy for Rwanda. You will also support any other ongoing projects in the region and will play an active role in fundraising to support activities and project development for Rwanda and broader A4ID activities. The Consultant will also work closely with A4ID’s regional office in Kenya. You will also be driving fundraising in the region.

They offer support to women with a range of complex needs, including substance misuse, mental health issues and domestic violence, and provide these support services in a warm, welcoming and secure environment. They are now recruiting for 2 Education, Employment and Training (EET) Workers to deliver meaningful activities and EET opportunities for women. Please note these roles are initially offered on a 6 month FTC until 31st March 2026.
As our client’s new EET Workers, you will work as part of a small, tight-knit team, delivering meaningful activities and employment, education and training opportunities to a variety of vulnerable women, mostly on a 1:1 basis. You will empower services users by developing life and employability skills and providing opportunities for involvement. Working with women mostly on a 1:1 basis but also in a group setting, you will facilitate sessions for women with varied support needs as well as effectively working with prospective partners across the homeless sector as well as external stakeholders including professional agencies, training providers and recruiters.

Approved Premises (APs) work with high-risk people released from prison, providing a vital element in public protection arrangements. APs offer a level of contact, support and supervision within the community that is unique within the Criminal Justice System. This is an opportunity to be part of a dedicated, enthusiastic staff team at our male Approved Premises in Battersea, playing a key role in pro-social modelling, rehabilitation and community reintegration for those ready to make positive choices.
Working closely with Probation Officers and other community services such as police, health, housing and substance misuse, we provide a stepping stone from prison into the community.
As a member of the Approved Premises team, you will model pro-social behavior and foster a positive, respectful culture with both clients and colleagues. You will actively engage with residents, supporting communal activities such as meal preparation, and contribute to the delivery of individual sentence plans in collaboration with probation officers, police, and external agencies.
Your role will involve providing administrative and practical support, ensuring daily tasks are completed, and following all operational protocols. You will encourage compliance and enforce rules relating to curfews and drug and alcohol testing as required. Keeping colleagues, multi-agency partners, and management informed is essential.

Role purpose
RISE strives for a world where people can lead safe, purposeful lives as a result of better relationships within families and communities; where harmful behaviour is marginalised and fewer people are victims of crime. In order to create safe communities, RISE empowers people to break their cycle of harmful behaviour. RISE’s programmes challenge attitudes and facilitate long-lasting behaviour change and are driven by the belief that people can make better decisions, given the right support. RISE are specialists in designing and delivering evidence-based, transformative behaviour change courses within the criminal justice system and wider community.
With the main objectives of reducing re-victimisation and reoffending, and helping to protect the public, the RISE practitioner will deliver a range intervention (individual and group), both in the community and in custody.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a high-quality service to victims of domestic abuse, delivering a service to those at risk;
- Work collaboratively within a multi - agency framework consisting of the Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARAC) and local partnership responses to domestic abuse;
- Identify and assess the risks and needs of domestic abuse victims using an evidence-based risk identification checklist.
- Focus on and prioritise high risk cases and provide a pro-active service through individual safety planning and personal support.
- Work with victims of domestic abuse at all levels of risk to help them access services to keep them and their children safe.
- Liaise with Social Services and other professional agencies in relation to any child protection/ adult safeguarding risk issues highlighted;
- To ensure that any issues in relation to safeguarding children or vulnerable adults are brought to the immediate attention of the Safeguarding lead (or whoever is relevant).
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and keep abreast of current legislation, best practice and maintain a focus of continuous improvement;
- Work with victims of domestic abuse to help them access services to keep them and their children safe;
- Understand the role of all relevant statutory and non-statutory services available to domestic abuse victims, and work collaboratively with these as appropriate;
- Provide advocacy, emotional and practical support, and information to victims in relation to legal options, housing, health and finance;
- To record case work accurately and ensure administration of caseload is always up to date.
- To communicate internally within RISE, with victims and with partner agencies about the risks and needs of victims.
- To attend regular case review meetings with the DA Team Leader and Practitioners to share information around the identified risks.
- Manage a caseload of 60-70 service users ensuring each client receives a timely and appropriate service, individual to their needs;
- Support the empowerment of the client, and assist them in recognising the features and dynamics of domestic abuse, and help them regain control of their lives;
- Maintain knowledge of the organisation’s operating environment;
- Demonstrate and maintain a commitment to the organisation’s vision and values, strategic aims and objectives.
- To attend and participate in any and all internal and external training identified as necessary to meet the requirements of the role as identified by Rise Mutual CIC.
Main Duties:
- Establish timely contact with Victim/ Survivors of domestic abuse perpetrators who are referred to attend a DVPP,
- Carry out assessments with the Victim/ Survivors via telephone contact or community visit, using the Safe Lives DASH risk assessment tool;
- Carry out detailed safety planning with Victim/ Survivors;
- Manage risk by being pro-active with Victim/ Survivors, sharing information with other relevant agencies in a timely way.
- Refer and/or signpost Victim/ Survivors to other services/agencies to meet risk/wellbeing needs;
- Ensure Victim/ Survivors can access a place of safety e.g. refuge, if risk escalates to a dangerous/unsafe level;
- Maintain Victim/ Survivors contact and continuously monitor risk by keeping up with all available information while the perpetrator attends the programme;
- Attendance at Social Services Conferences (if appropriate), Risk Meetings and MARAC, advising on any safety planning for any risk issues highlighted;
- Undertake an end of case review, signposting Victim/ Survivors to external agencies for ongoing support where appropriate;
- To maintain up to date Victim/ Survivors records to ensure data is collated for all work completed.
- To offer 100% of Victim/ Survivors to complete service user feedback;

Women in Prison is a national, women-led, feminist organisation. We deliver front line support to women harmed by the criminal justice system, through our work in prisons, in the community and ‘through the prison gate’ as they resettle back into their communities. We also campaign for systems change that addresses the root causes of offending, reduces the harmful impact of prison, and creates workable, community-based alternatives to imprisonment.

Job Purpose:
This role will be based in both HMP Bronzefield and in our community-based hubs in South London, delivering specialist housing support with women impacted by the criminal justice system in prison and the community.
Key responsibility areas
- To deliver an effective accommodation intervention for women impacted by the criminal justice system.
- To develop effective relationships with key stakeholders, such as housing departments, probation, prison, to ensure a collaborative approach to women’s accommodation needs.
- To provide expert advice and support to colleagues, including upskilling through information and training sessions.
- To work with colleagues to take a system change approach to tackling key issues, such as housing, for women affected by the criminal justice system.

We are looking for someone to join the St Mungo’s Street Outreach service; our dynamic street outreach team in Oxford who provide a rapid response service to people who are sleeping rough across Oxford City. The dedicated team works proactively as part of Oxfordshire’s Homeless Alliance to support people who are sleeping rough on the street with key healthcare, benefits, and accommodation support and advice.
- Working as an Outreach Worker you will work with people to assess their needs and deliver a person centred support, as well as working in partnership with multi-disciplinary teams and agencies across the city to meet client’s individual needs.
- It’s not always an easy job, but the exciting opportunity to work with different people every day, helping individuals experiencing homelessness and the local community end the harms of rough sleeping is highly rewarding.
You will work on a weekly shift rota Monday – Friday including early shifts starting from around 6am and additional shifts from 9am-5pm office hours. Some weekends, bank holidays and late shifts may also be required to ensure we are available to support people experiencing homelessness when they need us the most.

We are seeking an excellent qualified accountant to join our Financial Planning and Reporting team, as a Finance Business Partner, supporting colleagues in the UK Countries Directorate more specifically for England. This is a key role working directly with our conservation delivery and our reserves network areas, all with individual characteristics and skills requirements.
What's the role about?
As a Finance Business Partner you will work proactively with senior colleagues to provide an added-value service of financial support to our UKC Directorate. In addition to a strong management accounting background, you will understand the difference that can be made through strong business partnering relationships and be confident in building those relationships. You will gain the respect and confidence of the colleagues you support through strong communication skills (written and oral) and your ability to constructively challenge ideas and plans. You will add value through gaining an intimate understanding of the Directorate that you partner, together with contributing to business performance and the requirements of the finance function with the charity's need.
You will be a fully qualified accountant with up-to-date technical knowledge and a desire to progress in your profession. We will want the successful candidate to influence change and use their skill set to further drive the organisation's objectives forward. You will also be comfortable working under pressure, to tight deadlines, and interacting with people at all levels within the RSPB.
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
- CIMA or equivalent financial qualification
- Sound knowledge of technical accounting legislation
- Ability to act as a critical-friend to senior management balancing challenge and support. Develop effective working relationships that influence and challenge senior management teams, so that the role of the Finance Business Partner is an integral and valued part of the organisation
- Ability to influence decision makers through sound logic, diplomacy and assertiveness, with the ability to convey appropriate financial messages to various audiences
- Ability to evaluate incomplete and complex financial information, to develop and consider a range of possible options and make a judgement as to the recommended course of action
- Excellent communication (written and oral), coaching, mentoring, presentation and training skills
- Ability to ascertain financial trends and calculate the impact of them on the organisation under various scenarios
- Working in cross-functional teams to provide transformational advice on new initiatives, investment appraisals/organisational restructures/matters of risk and control design effective mitigation strategies, in order to support effective decision making
- Build capability and knowledge in managers so that they can effectively manage their budgets through effective financial information, support and advice
- Working with the all finance teams, to implement new Finance initiatives, ensuring the highest level of customer service and procedures are continuously reviewed so that the service is business focused in the delivery of objectives with an expert knowledge of your client area.
