At Ambitious about Autism we're currently looking for a Procurement Manager to join our team on a 6 month FTC.
You will lead a focused programme to strengthen and standardise the charity's procurement and supplier management practices, with particular emphasis on supplier selection, due diligence, risk assurance and data protection compliance.
You will establish and maintain a central supplier register and contracts database to improve visibility, governance and oversight. A key priority will be identifying and risk‑rating existing suppliers and ensuring robust onboarding, due diligence and ongoing assurance arrangements are in place — particularly in relation to data protection, information security and supply continuity — for both existing and new vendors.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Proven experience of leading end‑to‑end procurement activity, preferably within a complex organisation such as a charity, public sector or regulated environment.
- Demonstrable experience of supplier due diligence, risk assessment and assurance, including onboarding and ongoing supplier management.
- Strong understanding of data protection requirements within procurement and supply chains, including UK GDPR, data processing agreements and supplier compliance monitoring.
- Experience of establishing or improving supplier registers, contracts databases or procurement governance frameworks.

GMAVSG Worker
Salary and hours: Based on £39,963 per annum for full-time 35 hour week, pro rata according to number of hours worked. Greater Manchester Asbestos Victims Support Group (GMAVSG) is a registered charity, established by the Greater Manchester Hazards Centre (GMHC) in 1994. You will be doing GMAVSG work but you will be employed by GMHC. GMHC provides information, advice and campaigning on health and safety at work.
The GMAVSG office is in Manchester; all staff work mainly from home, but must be able to do home visits to clients, mostly in Greater Manchester. GMAVSG provides comprehensive free advice on benefits, and basic information on compensation, to people with asbestos diseases. Our help is free. Most of our clients have mesothelioma, a terminal cancer and are men in their 60s, 70s, and 80s who were exposed to asbestos at work. We also campaign on issues affecting asbestos victims. GMAVSG runs two support groups: Families Group for people who have lost a loved one to asbestos disease, Living Well for people with mesothelioma and their families/carers.
GMAVSG Job
The job offers the prospect of doing interesting and worthwhile work, including campaigning, with a particular client group, who benefit greatly from our specialist advice and empathetic support. It is not just ‘conveyor belt’ advice work.
You will be delivering benefits advice to people mainly through home visits in Greater Manchester and some of the neighbouring areas of Derbyshire, Cheshire and Lancashire. Full driving licence and access to a car are essential. The work includes covering a phone helpline on a rota basis, the main purpose of which is to ensure that visits are promptly offered to people newly diagnosed with an asbestos disease.
Recent experience of welfare rights / benefits advice is essential, as are good ICT and administration skills. Training will be given on compensation and industrial injuries benefits for people with asbestos diseases.
A pay rise is due from April 2026 as salaries are normally uprated annually at least in line with inflation.

Our Organisation
Sydenham Garden, based in Lewisham in South-East London, is a special, unique and beloved wellbeing centre utilising its gardens, nature reserve and activity rooms to help people living with and recovering from mental and physical ill-health. We were established in 2002 and will celebrate our 25th anniversary in 2027. We provide nature and arts based creative, social and therapeutic activities for co-workers (the name we give our primary beneficiaries). People are referred to us from community organisations and health professionals and we use an integrative approach where those with different degrees of mental and physical ill health come together with volunteers from the local community to reduce social exclusion and prejudice. Each year we work with on average over 250 co-workers and over 70 volunteers.
About you
You’ll have experience in building relationships with individual donors, increasing income from community sources and engaging and enthusing volunteers and supporters around a cause. You’ll have excellent communication and people skills and feel comfortable both thinking strategically and managing competing priorities day-to-day. Most importantly, you’ll thrive in a small team working to make a big impact for people living with mental ill-health and dementia.

You would be employed by East Church with Spear Norwich as a key missional activity. Prayer and worship are embedded into daily working practices, so there is an Occupational Requirement for applicants to be practicing Christians. Key Information:
- Salary: from £22,400 - £25,600 FTE

- The Spear Programme offers a rewarding opportunity to work with young people, but it requires a dedicated commitment. Due to the term-based nature of the programme (i.e. two consecutive 6-week programmes in autumn, spring and summer), we expect annual leave to be taken between, rather than during terms

We are seeking a highly organised and systems-savvy Senior Administrator to play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our programmes, systems, and records. This role is particularly well suited to someone who enjoys working closely with data, systems, and processes, and takes pride in maintaining accurate, well-structured records that help teams run efficiently.
A significant part of the role involves working with databases, spreadsheets, and CRM systems, so confidence using Excel (including formulas and data management) is essential. You will be comfortable navigating multiple digital systems and able to quickly learn new platforms, while maintaining high standards of data accuracy and organisation. Experience working with CRMs such as ImpactED, Beacon, Salesforce, or Blackbaud would be advantageous.
You will be confident working across Microsoft Office 365 beyond Outlook, using tools such as SharePoint, Teams channels, and collaborative data systems to manage information and keep records up to date. The role requires someone who is methodical, detail-oriented, and proactive in keeping systems organised and information accessible.
This is a 6-month maternity cover position, expected to run from June through November, with the possibility of extension depending on organisational needs and circumstances.
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth coordination of our administrative, data management, and operational processes. Joining a highly motivated and committed team of home-based colleagues who are passionate about improving the lives of young people through our specialist youth programmes, you will help ensure that the systems, records, and processes behind our work run efficiently and reliably.
Your role will focus on maintaining and managing organisational systems and records, supporting programme delivery, and ensuring accurate and up-to-date data across our CRM and impact tracking platforms. You will sit within the operations team and coordinate key operational processes including volunteer and recruitment administration, liaising with external providers, and supporting the logistics and record-keeping of IT equipment and other programme resources. The role also includes general administration, coordination, and governance support to help keep the organisation running smoothly.
You will be self-motivated and comfortable working remotely while staying closely connected with a collaborative team. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and clear communication will enable you to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

About You
- Substantial experience in fundraising from at least one of the following: trusts and foundations, corporates or individual giving.
- Substantial understanding of charity sector regulations, compliance requirements, and ethical fundraising standards.
- Knowledge of donor stewardship and supporter engagement strategies.
- A track record of achieving and exceeding fundraising targets.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and campaigns.
- Excellent project management, data monitoring, and CRM experience.
