We are looking for 2 people to join the team in Bristol as Coordinators, joining either of the below teams:

North Star Service, part time 30 hours per week (to include Tuesday, hours can be worked across 4-5 days) 

North Star Service works with people who are experiencing homelessness, and have difficulties with their relationship with substances and mental health. The service main base is at the Compass Centre, however also operates across Bristol and within homeless hostels. North Star runs a variety of interventions including initial engagement, drop-ins groups to build relationship skills and safety, psychological skills groups and one to one therapy either as a weekly longer term intervention, or a standalone session format in drop-in clinics embedded within hostels.

Assertive Contact & Engagement (ACE) Service, part time 22.5 hours per week (to include a Tuesday, Hours can be worked across 3-5 days): 

St Mungo’s Assertive Contact & Engagement (ACE) Service works with people with complex mental health needs who are not actively engaged with other services and face multiple barriers to accessing mainstream support. The service operates across Bristol, running a variety of services including community one to one work, therapeutic groups and drop-ins, and training for other services. 

In the role of Coordinator you will:

As part of the wider management team, the Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring we provide a quality service, particularly to neglected groups and individuals, and who face complex barriers to accessing services. Key responsibilities in this role will be:

• Supporting the Clinical Lead/Service Manager in the day-to-day development and management of the service.

• Line management of staff; offering motivation and supervision to deliver high quality service with a recovery-focused and person-centred approach. 

• Working proactively and creatively with other partner organisations and stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for our clients. 

• Holding a small caseload of clients experiencing high complexity, and capacity for group delivery 

About you 

We are looking for a creative individual with experience of working with partner agencies and relevant stakeholders to deliver high quality outcome-focused services. You will also have: 

• Experience of managing staff and volunteers in a fast-paced environment; or the willingness to develop these skills.

• The ability to effectively prioritise your own time and workload and come up with practical ideas to improve services. 

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of people.

• Flexibility is necessary for this post, as you may be required to work from various locations and work specific days of the week.

You will have:

• Previous experience in an administration or coordination role, ideally within children's services, health, education, charity or community settings
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ideally database systems
• The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• An understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding and data protection principles
• A full driving licence and access to your own transport

Programmes and Partnerships Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced programme professional to support effective partnerships and projects that improve animal welfare across Ethiopia.

Salary: £31,425 per annum
Location: The role is based in Sidmouth and offers hybrid working, with attendance currently anticipated to be one or two days each month. The normal working pattern is Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm.
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Contract: Fixed-term for 18 months

About the role

You will join an international programmes and partnerships team, supporting the successful coordination, monitoring and development of projects in Ethiopia.

Working closely with the Regional Programmes and Partnerships Advisor for Africa, you will help ensure that partnerships have the capacity, resources and support required to deliver positive and sustainable outcomes for animal welfare.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the full programme cycle for funded partnerships in Ethiopia, including funding applications, project grants, reporting and shared learning
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with strategic partners and country teams
• Coordinating projects and programmes to ensure they are appropriately monitored and evaluated
• Supporting partner due diligence and compliance with organisational policies and procedures

About you

About the role

We are now recruiting for a Programme Coordinator for our schools in London.

• The London Programme Coordinator oversees a caseload of up to seven partner schools. They manage the logistics and organisation of each school’s tutoring programme, working closely with the schools and pupils and managing the pool of volunteer tutors. Duties and responsibilities

• Update and accurately maintain Action Tutoring’s database, including collecting timely data for monitoring and evaluation purposes, such as attendance records, baseline and interim assessments and pupil surveys. Reporting regularly on key performance indicators to key stakeholders and using them to enhance programme delivery. Work with the Programme Manager on business development, approaching new schools that might be interested in working with Action Tutoring.
• Proactively report to the Programme Manager on the details of Action Tutoring’s operations in their partner schools.

The nature of this role will also require you to demonstrate adaptability, resilience and the ability to cope with some uncertainty. 
 

This position would suit you if you’re looking to develop your experience in the education or charity sectors. Existing experience of working with young people and/or project management in a charity or education setting would be an asset.
