About the role

CoramBAAF’s membership is central to the organisation’s aims and activities. The Member Services Team provides a comprehensive service to corporate, associate and individual members and customers in all four nations of the UK. The team manages and tracks member renewals, enrols new members, implements recruitment and retention strategies, co-ordinates service delivery to members and handles a wide range of membership enquiries.

The team is also responsible for the licensing of CoramBAAF’s health and social work report forms, essential to practice in adoption, fostering, kinship care and other substitute care UK-wide. Activities to support the licence scheme include managing and tracking licence renewals, coordinating the release of new and updated forms, enrolling new licence holders and handling a wide range of queries.

The Member Services Manager will provide leadership and line management across both membership and the forms licence scheme. The postholder will maximise income from CoramBAAF membership and ensure its continued reach and relevance. They will also maximise income from the forms licence scheme and actively promote its importance as a key member benefit. Importantly they will strengthen engagement with members to ensure retention whilst also increasing reach and awareness nationally to recruit new members.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and oversee the implementation of a member engagement strategy to increase direct contact with staff/frontline workers in members agencies.
• Have regular contact with member agencies (in person and online) to promote the benefit of membership and ensure that members are maximising their membership.
• Gather data and maintain accurate records of current member agency engagement in order to identify opportunities for growth as well as areas of concern.
• Take the lead, and in consultation with colleagues, agree the membership benefits and fees payable across the different categories of membership UK wide.
• Take the lead, with colleagues, to devise new membership categories and benefits as appropriate.
• Monitor take up of membership and engagement with CoramBAAF and devise strategies and communications accordingly.
• Take the lead, and in consultation with colleagues, maintain and develop the forms licence scheme.
• Maximise income from the scheme by encouraging take up of more forms and attracting more users/customers.

Fleet Administrator

Part-time - 21 hours per week

£26,000 (pro-rated to £15,600) + excellent benefits

About the role:

The Fleet Administrator will form a vital part of the Finance and Operations Team supporting the Operations Manager in the management of the Rainbow Trust fleet.  Rainbow Trust operates a fleet of approximately seventy vehicles situated across our nine regional teams. It is vitally important that our Family Support Workers have a reliable vehicle for attending family visits and transporting families to hospital. In addition, the Fleet Administrator will be required to assist the Operations Manager with ad-hoc tasks/projects according to the workload.

Full training will be provided and previous experience of managing a fleet is not required, although is desirable. A good level of maths, excellent communication, planning and Microsoft Excel skills are required to be successful in this role.

This is an excellent opportunity to maintain a breadth of fleet administrator experience with increased responsibility.

Substance Use Practitioner - Mindworks

Job Description

We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic practitioners, to join Catch22 Surrey Young People’s Substance Use Service (SYPSUS). This role will be focused on providing substance use interventions, to children and young people (C&YP), who are accessing support from certain services within Surrey Mindworks (formerly known as CAMHS).

The new post will provide the successful candidate with an exciting opportunity to shape and develop the role, and to contribute to service development. Main responsibilities:

· To develop and embed links/pathway between services, working directly with children and young people who are accessing Mindworks Surrey.

· To provide sustained support to a pre-defined caseload of young people, who are referred by means of effective assessment and care planning.

· To act as a link worker between Mindworks and Catch22 SYPSUS, ensuring delivery of an integrated provision for children and young people.

· To deliver therapeutic interventions, such as brief solution focused and motivational interviewing, as well as contributing to systemic practice.

· To work alongside Surrey Mindworks colleagues, providing consultation and guidance. 

· To assess levels of presenting risk associated with substance use, and provide support in managing this risk.

· In partnership with SYPSUS colleagues, to deliver training and workshops to support and upskill staff. 

· To identify and develop resources to support professionals working with children and young people with substance use issues.

Qualifications

· A relevant qualification such as youth work, counselling, health and social care, and/or relevant experience of therapeutic delivery, and alternative suitable qualifications. 

· Good communication, organisational, and ICT skills.

What does good look like for this role?

· You will demonstrate knowledge and competency in delivering young people’s substance use interventions, to a wide arrange of individuals, according to their needs.

· You will have knowledge/understanding and or direct experience of supporting C&YP who are experiencing difficulties with their emotional wellbeing and mental health.

· You will evidence that you are able to work to a high standard of record keeping in a timely manner, in accordance with Catch22 delivery outcomes, targets and recording procedures.

· You will be able to deliver and evidence high-quality engagement and support to the young people and families we work with.

· You will communicate and work collaboratively, constructively and effectively with colleagues and partner agencies, ensuring effective partnership working, representing Catch22 professionally at all times, and contributing positively to the team and Catch22.

Additional Information

There are 2 x roles for this post, 1 x practitioner will cover West Surrey and 1 x practitioner will cover East Surrey. This role requires an up-to-date driving licence, access to a vehicle, MOT and business insurance.

Counsellor

We are looking for a passionate, and professional counsellor with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to join our Emotional Support Service based in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following stroke.

Position: 000034 Emotional Support Co-ordinator/Counsellor

Location: Home-based/Liverpool. However, frequent travel will be required as part of this role (May include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

Hours: Part-time, 21 Hours per week

Salary: Circa £19,000 per annum (FTE circa £31,700)

Contract: This is a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027

The Role

Reporting to the Emotional Support Service Manager, the team will deliver a professional counselling service to stroke survivors, carers and relatives.  Counselling sessions are designed to help clients to develop emotional resilience, readjust to life after stroke and prepare to reintegrate into community life.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Providing one to one counselling to stroke survivors, carers and relatives including those with communication or cognitive difficulties

· Providing counselling sessions in person, on-line or by telephone, throughout Liverpool.

· Assessing the appropriateness of counselling for service users by providing emotional needs assessment sessions as well as using appropriate screening/evaluation tools (e.g. PHQ and GAD)

· Managing risk and safeguarding issues in accordance with appropriate legal, ethical and organisational requirements.

About You

You will have:

· An advanced diploma in integrative, humanistic or person-centred counselling/psychotherapy; for example, BACP recognised course or equivalent (i.e. 450 hours skills and theory, 100 hours of supervised practice, 20 hours of personal therapy)

· A minimum of 1 year post qualification supervised clinical practice

· BACP registration (or equivalent) and actively working towards accreditation

· Experience of delivering short-term counselling

· Experience of working with people with cognitive impairment

· A flexible approach to hours and working arrangement, being able to work independently.

This role requires extensive travel across a large geographical locality to visit people at home. Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they can meet this requirement of the role. You must live in the Liverpool area to fulfil this travel requirement. To fulfil the role, you must be a resident of the UK and have the right to work in the UK.

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) is seeking an organised and proactive Policy and External Affairs Assistant to support the delivery of our influential policy, public affairs and external engagement work across the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the College’s Policy and External Affairs Department, providing vital administrative and project support across three key teams: Health Policy, Policy and Public Affairs (Devolved Nations), and Media and Public Affairs. As a Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser, you'll develop and manage a portfolio of supporters, secure new partnerships and identify opportunities to increase income through sponsorships, events and fundraising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Income generation 

• Maximise funding from existing relationships and identify, research and secure new corporate funding opportunities.
• Meet agreed annual fundraising targets for corporate sponsorship, including annual income figures and corporate outreach numbers. 

Funder stewardship and reporting 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate supporters through regular communication and excellent account management.
• Invite supporters to project visits and events, enabling them to see the impact of their donations first-hand.

Internal collaboration and event support

• Lead the planning and delivery of fundraising and stewardship events.
• Contribute ideas, stories and content for social media, newsletters and the charity website.

About the Role

As an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will provide frontline services to support medium-risk victims of domestic abuse and work within a multi-agency framework to complete risk assessments, safety planning and offer advocacy & practical support.

Key tasks include:

• Assessing risks and needs using evidence-based checklists.
• Delivering tailored support and information.
• Working with other agencies and advocating on behalf of service users in order to help them access services to keep them safe.
• Understanding legal frameworks for protecting children and vulnerable adults.
• Providing advocacy on legal, housing, health, and financial options.
• Empowering clients to recognise domestic abuse dynamics.
• Participating in Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARAC) when required.

About You

You will need:

• Experience of working in support and advocacy with victims of domestic abuse is advantageous
• Experience managing caseloads; identifying and assessing risks and needs, providing a tailored service through individual safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support.
• To be able to prioritise work and deal with competing or conflicting demands/needs and interests and promote organisation interests and values.
• To ideally hold a SafeLives IDVA accreditation, relevant degree, vocational qualification or relevant experience of delivering a service and working with domestic abuse victim's/service users in a statutory, voluntary or community work setting. Additional training will be provided to achieve SafeLives IDVA accreditation if not currently held.
• Strong understanding of domestic abuse and its impact.
• Demonstrate proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing.

These Family IDVA positions are permanent and full-time roles (37.5 hours per week). About the role

We are looking for passionate and dedicated Family Independent Domestic Violence Advocates (IDVAs) to join Birmingham's new Family IDVA Service. With 10 roles available, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative city-wide service from the very beginning, helping to improve outcomes for parents and their children who have experienced domestic abuse.

Each Family IDVA will be based within one of Birmingham's 10 Family Hubs, working as part of a multi-agency network to provide specialist domestic abuse support where families need it most. Alongside direct support, you will play an important role in strengthening the wider response to domestic abuse across Birmingham. You will deliver targeted training and awareness sessions to professionals within Early Help, education, health and community settings, helping to build confidence in identifying and responding to domestic abuse and ensuring families can access support sooner.

The Role

Overseeing an annual budget of circa £1m, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for all aspects of MSH's financial management. Through Community, Specialist and Outreach services, we support recovery, mental health and wellbeing – together every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and project financial reports.

• Has experience working with budget holders and providing clear financial advice and guidance to non-finance colleagues.
• Can analyse budgets, forecasts and variances, and explain financial information in a clear and accessible way.

Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity enables families who have a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness to make the most of their time together, providing expert practical and emotional support where they need, it for as long as it is needed. For families living with childhood illness, time is everything. About the Role

As a Service Delivery Assistant, you will provide high quality administrative support to the service. You will act as a first point of contact for enquiries into the service and support the wider team with administrative duties. As a part of your role, you may be asked to attend offices around Hampshire & Isle of Wight to support the team with associated expenses paid.

Key Responsibilities:

• Upload referrals to our computerised case management system, in accordance with our standards.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, telephone and general queries for the service
• Collate and supply information and correspondence to internal and external contacts
• Liaise with referring agencies to improve referral information and support referral pathways.
• Provide general admin support including data entry, minute taking, raising purchase orders and processing invoices.

About You:

Ideally, you will need experience working within a client focused service and a good understanding and knowledge of office systems.

You will need:

• Effective verbal and written communication and numerical skills.
• Experience working in an adminstrative setting role
• Experience of providing administrative support to a team
• Understanding and knowledge of the requirements relating to confidentiality and data protection.
• Understanding and knowledge of equal opportunities and diversity.
• Ability to prioritise own workload and deal with competing demands in an organised and methodical manner.
• Good IT skills and experience of using all packages in the standard Microsoft Office suite and case management systems/databases.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively both verbally and in writing with a wide range of individuals and audiences.
• Ability to work on own initiative and with minimal supervision to achieve deadlines.
• Strong record keeping skills with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Driving Licence
